The hardest part of assembling this table was tearing open the cardboard shipping box.Once inside, I found a sturdy durable, well made heavy duty carrying bag. The bag has an internal baffle to hold the two parts of the table separately. It has a strong webbed carry strap generous enough in length to allow it to be slung over one's shoulder. The bag secures with a spring slide lock. The base of the table folds into a 4x4 inch 3 ft long compact piece. It unfolds easily and locks in place with corner braces like those found on an everyday card table. It literally took me 30 seconds to unfold the base. The top folds into a slightly larger rectangle, maybe 5x5. Once unfolded and placed on top it is secured by four rubber buttons that slide into U shaped openings in brackets on the vertical sides of the base. The part took another 30 seconds. Instant table in under a minute. I never even read the instructions. As one would expect the table is very light weight, and could be damaged through stupidity. However it easily accommodates two Weber Q grills - you just cannot open both at once. I am ver pleased with this. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this and one consideration was the slats run across the short dimension of the table, not longways so the rolled up part is a lot smaller. I also could not figure out how to pinch my fingers folding this unless I were to place them between the legs and the top while folding it up, a move that is about as likely as shutting ones finger in a door. It can happen if one is careless I suppose. So no pinch, easy to assemble and disassemble, sturdy storage bag and a great price.Read more

We have used this table a few times now in the backcountry. I like that the cross supports underneath don't interfere with my knees/legs when I'm sitting at it for meals. It stores easily, unlike some items that are difficult to repack after it is unpacked, this is pretty easy. The main carry bag also has two pouches inside it making it real simple to put the legs on one side and the table top on the other. It folds out easly and sets up and tears down quickly. The only thing that I did to it to make it better was add a strap to hold the rolled up table in its rolled up position to repacking. It can be a bit cumbersum to put it away if it gets away from you. A simple strap fixed that. Other than that, it's a winner and I highly recommend this.

We were looking for a small, packable table to use while tent camping. There are many options, with mixed reviews across the board. Similar tables can run very expensive, so I had low expectations give the price of this table. We're very please. You can sit four people comfortably, 6 maybe if you sit close. It completely served it role and purpose. Would buy again, and would recommend it.would give 4.5 stars if I could. .5 star off, as I'm not a fan of the button hook system to hold the last slates to the table structure. They work, but I worry about how long those plastic rings will hold. For now they are.Pros:- quick assembly- very light- nice looking (though was not a factor in purchase)- great price- packs small, packs, lightCons:- the ends of that table have these button hook holes to hold the last slate. They havent broken, but quality seems weak- finding the optimal way to restack the slate for storage take a bit of practice- is light (its a pro as well), but you may have to stake it down or keep something with weight on it, if in strong wind areaRead more

I was so excited about using this table. I broke it out and set it up and was very pleased with it. I got several compliments from my buddies. It wiped cleaned and I was folding up the legs to put it back into the bag. The rivet pulled out of one of the legs! And I was not being rough with it. It closes similar to bed cots that fold backwards. I had such high hopes.Update:I contacted the company and spoke with them. They sent me out another one free of charge. I’m going to be more careful when closing this now. Their customer service is awesome!

Excellent product concept! Minor design flaws. This is sturdy, lightweight, and easy to assemble/pack down.My 2 suggestions for improvement are to modify the design of the legs so they can pack down to the same length as the slats (IE: short enough to strap to a rucksack for hiking would be great! I am 5'1" so this is too long to hike into camp with) AND for the little plastic plugs that protect the lines that hold the slats together to be more durable/fit better so they don't crimp or pop out of the slats. While I won't be taking this on my hike-in camping trips, I can pack it on my kayak for paddle/camp trips, and will be bringing it to the 4x4 beach for beach day cookouts.

I've been looking for a stable camping table that packs away small. This table fits the bill, plus it is extremely lightweight. That being said, the aluminum is remarkably soft. My table arrived with two dents in the frame but I was otherwise impressed with it so I decided to keep it anyway. Three camping trips later, I couldn't be happier. Then, I went to put it away much like I always did, and was surprised when the locking arm ripped a rivet out and bent. (And yes, I made sure the arm was unlocked before attempting to fold the leg.)I still like the table, I just can't give it more than 3 stars given its apparent flimsiness. I hope this was a defect on just my table, but be careful!

Its very flimsy aluminum and its coated in a super thin layer of cheap paint. The first one I was sent was so damaged I couldn't even assemble it, as most of the part where warped. The paint made the table look like it was left in the sun for multiple days and had been used heavily by multiple people. I sent it back and received a "new table" that was full of sand and un-dried paint dust/chips from when they assembled the product. The item had the same wear and warped appearance just in different spots. Overall I absolutely love ALPS and Ill keep buying their stuff, but this table was by far one of the worst purchases I have ever made. I sold it to a friend and he used the scrap from this mess in a project so I guess it was worth its weight in scrap aluminum tubing.
