Bought this for my brother. He is a pretty big guy so we were concerned that it would not support his weight. It was really sturdy and held his weight without any issues.

This was great for my daughter's apartment. Her room is very small and she was able to store a lot under the bed because of the raised height. It was also very sturdy.

Questions & Answers

Does this frame expand? It measures 59 inches and the queen headboard I got is 61....even with the correct brackets, it isn’t lining up. Am I missing something on how to expand the frame?
The Posture Support Queen frame has a set width of 59 inches. It's possible your headboard will extend slightly to each side, if it is wider than the bed frame.

Yes, it will.

need a frame for a sleep number bed will this work
No, I don't think this frame will not work with a sleep number bed. This frame is extremely sturdy, but we also have a sleep number bed and had to purchase the solid frame that they sell. You may need to ask your sleep number salesperson. We used this frame for our sons mattress which is not as heavy as a sleep number mattress.

can you use a box spring with this?
I would say a box spring can be used but it is not necessary. I'm actually contemplating on getting additional support to heighten the overall bed and mattress.

I am really concerned about whether or not this is truly "quiet." We will be using this with a 14" gel foam mattress for our guest room. We do not want our guests to feel uncomfortable with a frame that squeaks with their every move.I also want to know if the foam mattress will "stay put" on this frame or if it will tend to slide off.If you purchased this frame and can address these two concerns, I would greatly appreciate it.Thanks in advance!
I have this frame, and have absolutely no squeaks. I have just a mattress on it, with no box spring and it's a great height with no noise.

I have both king and queen size frames. Love them, no footboard to hit toes on. I am a large size and neither one squeaks. It would drive me crazy if it did. They are perfect for smaller bedrooms where a traditional bed frame would eat up a lot of space..

It's noisy. I have just a mattress on it as well, and mine makes all kinds of noise.

I'm looking at buying 'Home Styles Bedford Black Queen Bed'. Will this fit inside the bed's frame instead of a box spring or lats? Thanks in advance!
No. This is a platform and you don't need slats, box spring or other frame. If you want to add a headboard or footboard, there is a kit that can be purchased separately.

bought 2 of the Sleep Sync Posture Support Queen 14-inch Platform Bed Frame and 2 gel foam mattresses. Now looking at iron headboards. Reading answers below there are different responses to brackets to support headboard - I am looking at getting 2 of Winslow Queen-size Bed ITEM# 11947064 and may or may not use the footboard. Won't need the rails because of the Platform Bedframe (but buying the entire Winslow bed is cheaper than other iron headboards) - so! What is the correct bracket to order to attach the headboard to the platform bed frame? thanks!
I purchased the DuraBed Platform Bed Steel lHeadboard Brackets Kit, Item #15122334 to use with my Platform Bed Frame (Queen). They worked great!!

Will this frame work with a memory foam mattress without a platform underneath the mattress? I am looking to buy your mattress item #11281324.
I ordered this frame for a 14" memory foam mattress and it works well. The only thing was that the mattress was easy to slide around on the metal frame, so I put a length of the non-skid stuff you put under throw rugs between the mattress and frame. It works well. Doesn't even have to be the size of the whole mattress - I just used a strip about 18" wide and as long as the mattress.

I saw that it says you don't need to use the box springs, but can you still use them?
I bought the full size version of this bed frame and used a box springs and mattress set and it worked great for our guest room. No complaints from the guests and the only thing I would say is that the box springs and mattress set will move around on this frame if you push or shove too hard on them. Other than that we have been very pleased with this frame and have encountered no problems!

As we all know a good night sleep starts with a solid foundation, a bedframe will impact the quality of sleep you get, a bed frame will even cause back pains and aches.

Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.
