Easy to assemble and looks great. Feels and looks like nice heavy wood even though it is composite. Can't beat it for the price on Overstock.

This bed was easy to put together and looks beautiful. I bought two of these for my guest rooms. I like that it is a part of a series so it was easy to find coordinating items.

Worked great for making the room look more mature and helped stage a house for sale. Beware installing on length of screws, I cracked the headboard using thf wrong screw for the install.

This bed has a decent structure and seems stable enough. Simple style and a little bit on the narrow side, but that is to be expected. Mine came with a little chip which would be very noticable due to the contrast in color, so I recommend using a wood coloring stick to blend in.

I would rate this bed is above average quality for the price point it is offered. Pros: - Styling is good - Finish is superior Cons: - Head & Foot board Legs are thin, it decreases the durability. It would have been better if legs are little more solid. - Bed slat holder wood is slightly delicate.

I never put this bed together. I called Overstock and the referenced number to the company they gave me for the required hardware back and forth for months before giving up. It's been almost two years thus you should look for a COMPLETE set with no missing necessary assembly parts. Don't waste your time on this. It's the only thing in my house new and disassembled (slaps head). Update: 4 years ago this week and still no missing parts, still unassembled. There is no one to get in touch with via Overstock or this company. Overstock referred to nonexistent producer and I feel like I threw my money in the trash honestly.

Do you need a Box Spring in addition to a mattress?
Yes, but pay attention to how high the box spring and mattress are together. With the newer higher mattresses you could find yourself needing a short ladder to climb into bed. But even the highest mattress I've seen is not enough by itself.

Do you need a Box Spring in addition to a mattress?
Yeah, I tried to get away without one, but you'll be able to see wall between the headboard and the mattress. Pro tip: Make sure you can fit a box spring down your stairs before buying one. They aren't particularly flexible. Ha.

A box spring or boards, I personally have a 16in deep memory foam mattress with boards over the slots, it works perfectly without one for me.

What is the distance from the floor to the bottom of the sideboard? We have a trundle that we would like to slide underneath...or do you know if a trundle will fit underneath?
There is approximately 11 inches from the floor to the bottom of the sideboard. A trundle that is 10 inches in height may fit underneath the bed.

Does the headboard go all the way down to the where the bottom of the frame ends (where the legs begin)? Or is it cut off near the top of your mattress?
The headboard ends at the bottom the mattress between the mattress and box springs. It's a beautiful bed I bought for our guest room and I'm very pleased with it.

Top of matress. You will need to use a box spring unless you want there to be a gap. I will say that it is a beautiful bed. Love it for my guestroom.

Does the king size come with a center support for the mattress?
not sure because I purchased the queen and it had center support; however, you may want to purchase the support which isn't expensive at all here. sometimes its under a $100 and would provide better support for a heavier mattress.
