I can’t wait to put this bed together! It is just as I expected. Beautiful finish and the finials( I think that’s what they are called), the balls on top, are detached as I hoped. As an afterthought, I want a fan in this bedroom, I may cut off the canopy part leaving it as a 4 poster bed. I love having options!

Everything came as pictured. A lot to put together. I’m in the process of moving and haven’t been able to assemble it yet I will update this review as soon as I do. Thank you Wayfair for a great product at a great price

This is a very good looking bed frame! Toting the box and assembling the frame should be a two-person job, unless you’re into frustration. I carried the box to the basement by increments, step by step. The weight of the box (about 60 lbs.) wasn’t an issue, but the size of the box makes it cumbersome for one person. As I was assembling this in our still-not-finished basement, I laid an old blanket on the floor to protect the pieces. Some of the ends could scratch a wood or laminate floor, so I’d recommend a floor covering. My son helped me put it together (it took us close to an hour). It would’ve been helpful if two Allen wrenches had been included as this truly takes two people at times. Putting the base (where the mattress will go) together is a bit tricky, so study the placement of specific poles closely. Attaching the canopy pieces requires patience and possibly a chair to stand on to get a clear view of where the ballscrew hole is. I don’t have a mattress yet, so I can’t speak to comfort or support. However, the frame is solid and sturdy. screw
