As a whole assembled product, everything is firm and tight. No creaks or squeaks with movement in the bed. (Note: using a 12' memory foam mattress). There are 7 legs to this bed. 4 at the corners. 2 at the middle of the sides. 1 in the center. The build did take some time. This is not a quick setup. That is not a ding against the product. Just a note. Helps to have two people when attaching the headboard to the frame. All pieces are clearly labeled. Instructions in general and on setup up are actually quite good. I have seen some terrible instructions int he past. What I might think that can be improved with the instructions could just be from my point of view. Anyone should be able to follow them. Flows well, and everything is labeled clearly. All screws are shown as actual size in the instructions. If you question a size, it is easily figured out. Each screw (there are 80 of them) comes in one vacuum sealed packaging. That is a very good thing as that they are all labeled well and organized for the person building this. It also indicates that you are highly unlikely to ever be sent not enough screws or wrong amount. All in all, this was good buy. Looks good. My son is happy with it.Side note. We did have one missing part. It is this plastic end that hold the slats. 1) Not having this did not stop us from being able to use the frame. 2) It showed me how well organized the company is. This process only took a 2 mins to fill out a form using the excellent instructions to have that part sent out to me without having to pick up the phone.Read more

I needed a decent bed frame in my guest bedroom. It didn't want to spend a fortune for something that would rarely be used. Based on what I read in most of the comments, I fully expected to have to beg my neighbor to assist with the assembly. However, I made three separate stacks of hardback books, each stack identical in height. The height was determined by how many inches from the floor up to the screws on the headboard. One stack was placed at the center of the bed rails on the left and another stack was placed in the center of the right bed rails. The last stack was placed in the middle of the foot board. Of course this was AFTER I had hooked the side rails to the headboard but before hooking the foot board on. It was amazingly simple and fast. Everything fit together perfectly and the bed is very sturdy. I was very pleasantly surprised.

I've read previous reviews who complain of the quality. I'm not sure what sort of beds they have slept in before- maybe ones made of steel but this bed is quality!! Sure it may not survive the apocalypse but it certainly will survive years and years of use. I put it together myself in about 2 hrs- not difficult at all. It looks great! The blue is a true navy and looks great!!! You may want to get a lower profile mattress if you want a lot of the headboard to show. We have an 8 inch memory foam mattress and it looks perfect!

I bought this for my youngest, she doesn't really care about the bed, but it matches the decor of her room/house and works great. The soft padding around the bed really dampens bangs when she's messing around on the bed (no more monkeys jumping on the bed!). It's a well-built frame, and easy to move (just a couple bolts, and it'll be in two major lightweight pieces.). I'd buy it again if I needed

This bed is a great looking bed. My son absolutely loves it. Its his first big boy bed and he sleeps great on it. We bought an aftermarket bedrail though to make sure he doesn't fall off in the middle of the night. The setup was a little tedious. Set aside some time to get it all together. Also, make sure you have all the parts before you get started. I got about halfway done and had to stop because some parts were missing. The company did ship me out the parts I needed though.I'll update this post later if anything changes, but right now, its a really nice bed.

We ordered the light grey and what came in was a grey headboard, grey footrail, two grey half side pieces and two black half side pieces. It still looks good, just not what was ordered. My only other gripe with it is that our mattress seems to be a little small in it. We have the twin one and have about 2 extra inches on each side and about 2 extra at the foot of the bed.

Received this bed today and surprisenly i was delighted usually I expect the worst when it comes to assemble yourself furniture, but I have to say this was very simple to assemble all the pieces came with the bed nothing missing the instruction was step by step very easy to understand, all together it took me about hour to put the bed together the bed is very sturdy and structured and it is just PERFECT for my three year old. I would recommend getting a twin 6" mattress with this bed if you are using it for a toddler 3 years or older.

So the price is great, the quality is OK. A lot to assemble, do you self a favor, get a drill (with an adjustable clutch so you don't overtighten) and an Allen bit for the drill. It will speed assembly by half. I was concerned about the 2 piece side rail before I ordered. It's just a weak point that doesn't need to be there (other than Making shipping more affordable). It goes together well, but I'm not sure of the longevity. Aside from a lot to assemble, the instructions were clear. One nut that holds the leg on had no threads, so I had to do to the hardware store. Sucks, but happens I guess. Oh yeah, the legs are. Plastic, odd choice. Overall it looks good now, but the quality makes me wonder how long it will last. I guess if it makes is from ages 3-7 or so, it's worth it. We have another similar bed we bought from wayfair, with one piece side rails, which seems way more sturdy. It was no longer available, so we bought this.
