Very sturdy piece of furniture. However, the color is much darker than pictured and the stain job is not so good. Several areas where stain did not take. If you zoom in on pic you can see that and I missed it. :(

So I would have loved this dresser BUT it arrived with weird scratches all over it. Then some sort of white paint-looking substance was placed over the scratches. I called Wayfair and to their credit, they asked the warehouse which confirmed those weird scratches are supposed to be there, stating this was a "distressed" look. However, NOT to their credit, the product description states that it does NOT have a distressed look.Anyway, the scratches do not look distressed- they really ruin this furniture. Had I known this, I would not have purchased. Since this was finally a new set for my son's room, I will purchase something else but not from this website
