This is a nice looking bed bur darker than expected. It almost looks black and the material is linen like. I put a box spring underneath but it does not work.

The quality isn't bad, but I did expect a but better for **. A few loose threads on the headboard. The instructions for putting it together were horrible! The letters on the parts did not match the pictures, but I was still able to put it together. Overall, it will serve its purpose.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

Bedrails

Whenever you want your son/daughter to transition from one level to another, one of the biggest transitions is for your child to finally sleep in their own bedroom. I know you’re worried about installing CCTV cameras to watch your child at night. Worry no more, bedrails design is here to rescuer the current situation. Beds with rail will provide security at night and your child won’t fall off at night when rolling. Also, old people can sleep in beds with rails so that when they want to wake up, they won’t have to call you all the times. Your toddler is ready to transition. Bed rails are quite a trend, and there are so many options to choose from. Designed with safety in mind the bed rails for toddlers provide peace of mind that your child will remain in bed throughout the night.

Corner

Look around your bedroom. Do you feel like you want to spice things up? Go ahead and perhaps you can start with your bed! Typically, a bed is placed in the middle of the room. But moving it towards the corner is definitely not against the rules! To perfectly match the corner, turn your regular bed into a corner one by extending its headboard on each side. If you want to have an extra seating space, you can put together two single beds to make an L-shaped sofa.

Corner beds are also ideal for shared bedrooms. Place two beds head-to-head and put a common storage or display area into the space between them. Another way to set up a corner bed is to angle it. You can place a plant or install a corner shelf if you're bothered by the empty space between the bed and the walls. Ultimately, however you want to decorate your corner bed and space, make sure to make it even more intimate.

Platform

You may be looking for a bed that is timeless and cost-effective and maybe your life quote is "simplicity is beauty," then you can swear by platform beds. A platform bed is a simple bed frame that has a solid foundation capable to hold any type of mattress without the need of a box spring. It also comes with built-in slats to allow airflow and breathability. And since box springs are unnecessary, you can save money if you decide to buy a new mattress.

Though simple, it doesn't mean that this type of bed is boring. Platform beds come from various materials, such wood, metal, and fiberboard. You may even have them upholstered for an added classic touch! Ideal for all ages, they are also available in different sizes: twin, full, queen, and king. Interestingly, platform beds are great for storing extra stuff since many of them come with drawers and headboard shelving, perfect for keeping your bedroom tidy.

Unlike a simple, traditional wooden bed, a fabric bed is constructed with a soft padded cushioned frame, which in most scenarios is usually made out of leather or fabric so as to attain optimum comfort. A fabric bed’s comfort is unmatched as they are constructed with one goal in mind, comfort. Fabric beds are also pretty stylish which has made them very popular among the younger generation. If you are looking to introduce a pop of different colors in your bedroom space then you should consider getting yourself a fabric bed as it perfectly fits and complement such an environment. However fabric beds also require a little bit of care as compared to other types of beds since they tend to collect dust at a higher rate especially if you leave in a dusty neighborhood.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Stone

A stone bed could be in many different forms such as a floor bed, where you sleep on a mattress on the floor without any bed frame. Stone beds having been used since the time in memorial and due to its many health benefits stone beds have started to regain their popularity. For example stone beds are known to improve blood circulation, improve your posture, reduce neck pain and back pain, and also lower the risk of scoliosis. With a stone bed you can use any type of mattress comfortably unlike other types of bed where you have to get a specific type of mattress. However if you are a hot sleeper you will definitely find a little discomfort sleeping on a stone bed since its usually a little bit discomforting. Also with a stone bed it’s recommended to have a bedroom with good flow of air, since poor air circulation could facilitate growth of mold under the mattress.

Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.

Fabric

Fabric is commonly designed for everyday clothing, and, because of its quality, it can also be used for furniture upholstery. Light, simple, and versatile, fabric-upholstered beds can effortlessly match any interior design theme. They are durable and long-lasting. Fabrics are also soft and comfortable and can even make your bed stand out from the rest of your furnishings.

There are different types of fabric-upholstered bed depending on the textile used and each of them has its distinct advantages and disadvantages. A linen-upholstered bed is breathable, easy to clean, and hypo-allergenic, but is prone to wrinkles and low stain-resistance. A velvet-upholstered bed is good for those with pets and can be dyed in rich colors, but high-maintenance and very expensive. A cotton-upholstered bed is abrasion-resistant and allows you to maintain a cool feeling, but not that stain-resistant and its fibers may weaken when directly exposed to sunlight. A corduroy-upholstered bed is durable, low-maintenance, and inexpensive, but can be heavy. But, whichever type you choose, surely fabric can turn your bed into a comfortable one.
