We love our Hillsdale Furniture Nicole Grey Wood/Fabric Bed-in-One! It's neutral so it works with any design we go with, the fabric itself is very nice and is only slightly darker than the photo.

The bed arrived quickly and all the parts to put together were in a zipper compartment in the back. Very satisfied with our order. In fact my sister order two beds for her daughters since seeing ours.

All of the pieces and parts fit into a zippered pocket on the back of the headboard. Very easy to put together and looks great. The only issue we ran into was the bag that was holding all the bolts and washers had split sometime during shipping and the pieces were all intermixed with the boards and some were hard to locate. In the end we couldn't find 3 of the lock rings but had some of our own to use.

I purchased this bed for my second bedroom, which my Grandson (8years old) uses every weekend. My Son in Law put it together in less than an hour. It is very sturdy for a child but luxurious enough for an adult. The price was a lot less that I expected to pay and delivery was ahead of time. This bed will make a great addition in a child's room, your main bedroom or a guest room.

Quality.it looks a bit cheap. I received some slats that were messed up. Definitely going to need a boxspring. I didn't realize that till I saw the picture on the box.

Horribly packaged, had to get it resent because the first one had a big chunk of the corner taken out and the headboard was exposed and damaged. Overstock did well by replacing it but the package was still a bit damaged though not as bad.

If i could give this zero stars i would. I had high hopes for this bed after reading the reviews. However, after a month of having the bed up it was infested with bed bugs. I have lived in my house over 15 yrs and never experienced bed bugs. I change my bed frame out and me and my boyfriend start to get bit. Of course we never checked the bed because it’s new, why would it have bed bugs right? We started getting bit almost immediately after assembling the bed but thought nothing of it because we JUST bought it. So disappointed.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

Panel

Regular

Nowadays, there are many bed frames that spring up from here and there, making it somewhat confusing and difficult to choose. One of them is the traditional regular bed.

A bit similar to a platform bed, a regular bed also consists of a bed frame, mostly metal, and a mattress. However, for this type, a box spring is needed underneath the mattress since a regular traditional frame doesn't have slats to provide enough support for the mattress. In addition, a box spring is a bed base comprises of a wooden frame containing metal grid or springs and wrapped in fabric. Because of the box spring, a regular bed is usually higher than a platform bed, making it gentler for your knees and reducing the risk of injury. The mattress on a regular bed, moreover, can last long since the base helps distribute your body weight evenly, protecting it from shock and being saggy. Old-fashioned yet a tried-and-true piece, you can never go wrong with regular beds.

The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed.
