If you’re considering this buy it! It came in two separate boxes. We received the headboard first and the slates the next day. This is by far the best FRAME we have ever had. We have a 12 inch King memeory foam mattress and this provides maximum support. No saggy and definitely sturdy! The bed doesn’t shake or creak when getting into. No box spring needed. Our bed sits at normal height as well. It took a little bit for my husband to put together but it was worth it. Everything came perfect in the package with no damage. The slates are sturdy and strong. It looks absolutely amazing and holds our family perfectly! I don’t think you will be disappointed. We have zero complaints so far. This frame and headboard is sturdier than more expensive ones we have purchased for our queen so being that it holds a king so well we’re beyond pleased. I was a little hesitant at first because there are so little reviews but we loved the look of it and the price so much we decided to give it a shot and are highly pleased!!! I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to purchase it! We got it a little less than a week from ordering as well.

I received my Queen bed in 2 boxes via FedEx; one was the headboard and the second box were the sides/footboard. Pretty heavy and would be quicker with 2 people carrying. The screws/washers were all labeled incorrectly, but with some logic I was able to figure out what went to where. Easy assembly and drill is needed to screw in the wooden slabs into the bed frame. Took me maybe about an hour to assemble. The bed looks SO GORGEOUS in my guest bedroom and adds a very classy touch. My regular queen mattress fit perfectly. Seems sturdy because of the internal steel frame and I’m beyond happy with my purchase! Nice material and shiny studs.

The bed came well packaged, early by several days and box was intact with only a small rip. I was home all morning and when I opened the door to leave, to my surprise I found the two boxes leaning against the house. Would it have been too much trouble for the delivery person to ring the doorbell to advise of the dropoff? Obviously, it was; I was very disappointed and glad rain was not in the forecast. Moving forward, I am renovating my bedroom and the bed of my dreams was not in the budget but this bed is an excellent substitute at an incredible price for the quality. It was easy to assemble but, as with anything you have to work smart; it saves time. One section of the instructions had parts incorrectly labeled on the diagram; illustration showed a bolt but the associated numbers were for a washer and screw but, common sense prevailed. My advice would be to put all bolts/washers together at each step before engaging in the task. Tighten screws as much as possible with your hand first and then work with Allen wrench to tighten as it saves time. ( I hate working with Allen screws and wrench - great for tight spaces but a true pain! ). Put side panels and foot together by pre-tightening screws with hand before final tightening with the wrench. Middle support legs may not meet floor but just unscrew bottom cap to meet the floor. Some of you may say "Da'wwww" but everyone is not mechanically inclined and who wants to spend unnecessary times putting a bed together?? I had a terrible experience putting a table together once and was ready to throw it out! I have read some reviews that the quality of construction was not good. I inspected all areas and parts before assembly and I found every part tight, well constructed and sturdy once put together. I followed the recommendation from another reviewer of the bed and purchased a 12" mattress and hope to have no gap between headboard and mattress. Don't second guess this bed, you will not beat the price for a new, very attractive with character item. I will bet that you will get lots of compliments!Read more

I was pleasantly surprised. This bed is very sturdy once you get it put together. And it was delivered within a week. Probably would have arrived sooner if I hadn’t ordered in over the weekend. Lots of hardware make it go together securely, and the slats are close together. For the price, i was very happy.

I got the bed today. I purchased the queen size. It came in one large VERY heavy box. I felt bad for my delivery guy. Unpacking was a chore. There was Styrofoam all over the house by the time I was done unpacking. There were screws all over the box. Only half the stuff was labeled. And the smallest screws were a pain to put in. They seemed too small. And yes I was using the correct screws. The side slats are two pieces which doesnt seem very sturdy. The screws didnt want to go in because there were staples and melted fabric covering the holes. I had to pull the staples out with pliers. Connecting the side slats was the hardest part and took longer to connect together than the rest of the bed combined. Over all the bed looks very nice. And it seems sturdy as well. Except for the side slats of course. Im not sure why they decided to make them four pieces instead of two long ones. The mattress support slats are tucked inside the headboard. There's velcoro in the back. Just in case you buy this bed and cant find them.

I bought this bed back in March and its a beautiful bed ...but now there is bed bugs coming out of it all around where the buttons are..I'm just sick about it and now I am going to have the house sprayed for the bed bugs and I may have to end up throwing the bed out.

I bought this bed for my daughter. For MONTHS she’s been to the doctors, a dermatologist (she has hypersensitive reactions) and we couldn’t identify the source. It’s BEDBUGS. Not even in her mattress, that has a protector on it, in the HEADBOARD. Months I’ve been trying to figure out why my child is suffering and is the only single person. I fumigated her room, steam cleaned and today- BAM! I see a dead carcass. Opened up the headboard and it’s infested. I am absolutely disgusted.

Box Spring Not Required Platform

Platform beds do not require a box spring mattress, as they can support any mattress at all. This makes platform beds highly versatile beds that can be the main bed for a large family home, all the way to being the spare bed in a guest bedroom. The versatility of these beds makes them easy to use, and very easy to work into any bedroom. They can also provide a clean minimalist look, because there is no headboard sticking out and drawing attention. Platform beds are an excellent fit for anyone that wants their bed to be subtle and not draw too much attention. The box-spring-not-required-platform bed is easily customised to look exactly how you want, as there is no headboard dictating the overall style and look of the bed either. The platform bed is recommended for those times when you need a bed to fit into any bedroom setting and can be moved to another room at any time where it will also be a great fit.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

Metallic

When you are redecorating your bedroom your first thought are always to lean towards the traditional methods, but with this new trend you will have to break away from the norm by getting yourself a metallic themed/colored bed. A metallic bed offers you a high-end look with a smooth, dense finish for extra durability as compared to other colors. A touch of a glimmering metallic bed makes your bedroom space infinitely more glamorous, also note that when it comes to incorporating a metallic theme into your bedroom décor there is an art that you should consider in order to strike a right balance and the best way to do that is by using a metallic bed.

Silver

Sliver is a monochromatic color that creates a clean and elegant bedroom space. A silver colored bed goes perfectly well with a wooden flooring or any other dark wooden furniture in your bedroom. It’s also mainly used in bedrooms with bright blue accent walls to create a perfect environment for to relax after a long day’s work. To many people, silver is still considered a luxurious color and as a result a silver bed is definitely a representation luxury. Silver also has sleep inducing characteristics that will help you get more sleep, on average you are likely to get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. A silver colored bedroom on the other hand doesn’t look boring or washed up, but instead it creates an amazing bedroom with a lot of depth without even considering the contrasting colors.
