It works about how it should but seems lower to the ground than other frames and I can't easily slide boxes of things under the bed, limiting storage options.

I truly don't understand how this frame could fit a king or cal king as they are 80 and 84 in long. States 70in long so you must have 10 or 14 in of box springs and mattress hanging off.
Hello Hooah7, it is normal on a bed frame of this type to have a slight overhang at the foot of the bed. With the center cross support, there should be no issues with this frame supporting a king-sized mattress. However, this bed frame is designed to accommodate any size mattress from twin to king. For a frame which can accommodate a California King, please see ITEM# 13492606. Thank you for shopping with us.

Nowadays, there are many bed frames that spring up from here and there, making it somewhat confusing and difficult to choose. One of them is the traditional regular bed.

A bit similar to a platform bed, a regular bed also consists of a bed frame, mostly metal, and a mattress. However, for this type, a box spring is needed underneath the mattress since a regular traditional frame doesn't have slats to provide enough support for the mattress. In addition, a box spring is a bed base comprises of a wooden frame containing metal grid or springs and wrapped in fabric. Because of the box spring, a regular bed is usually higher than a platform bed, making it gentler for your knees and reducing the risk of injury. The mattress on a regular bed, moreover, can last long since the base helps distribute your body weight evenly, protecting it from shock and being saggy. Old-fashioned yet a tried-and-true piece, you can never go wrong with regular beds.

Metal

One of the most asked question when it comes metallic beds is, are they safe for younger children? And the answer is always, yes they are. One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. With plastic being pretty durable a plastic bed can last you for several years, especially if it’s your child bed. Unlike other beds plastic beds are really portable and you can easily move it around when you are rearranging your bedroom furniture. Plastic beds are usually very safe especially if you intend to get one for your child, as they have no rough edges or corners. Plastic beds are usually not tied to a specific theme making them ideal for younger children who are in the stage of self-discovery. Plastic bed also have a consumer friendly price as compared to some exotic wooden or metallic beds whose prices are usually on the higher side. For any parent looking for a bed for their young child I would definitely recommend a plastic bed.

Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed.
