I've had a queen size Min bed for over 15 years, I can vouch for its durability. It's a very easy bed to assemble, even by one person, even after multiple moves, and it remains tight and sturdy after reassembling for the n'th time. The powder coating is also pretty solid, and the bed does not show its age–except for the upholstered head boards (min...Read MoreRead more about I've had a queen size Min bed for overe came at the time in two halves.) Not only did I find the minimalist design attractive at the time I bought it, but I still remain impressed by its clean lines and engineering. Some of the wooden slats have twisted a bit, but they have not sagged, and they remain in place under my mattress without any problem. I do have a fairly heavy mattress, that must help. Overall, this is an exceptional bed for its price, design and durability. I should know: I am a home furnishing product designer... Read LessRead less about I've had a queen size Min bed for over

Purchased the King size Min Bed in white, no headboard, in early 2018. For 2+ years it has contributed to making our bedroom more tranquil. When we decided to move from a traditional queen frame to a king, I was concerned about visually overpowering our modest master bedroom. The minimal, lower design works well but takes some consideration when se...Read MoreRead more about Purchased the King size Min Bed inlecting bedding to prevent it from touching the floor. In response to concerns from other reviews:I keep an eye on the legs at the foot in fear of stubbing a toe. No injuring to date. The wooden slats have stayed in place - not sure how they could come out after proper assembly. At the time of purchase, wife wanted the headboard, but I was concerned that it would take up additional floor space and the mounting looked a little flimsy. I checked with DWR and they offered to sell the headboard separately if I wanted to add it later -thanks DWR! We don't sit up in bed much and haven't missed a headboard.FYI, the bottom of the frame is a great location to add a couple Hue strip lights. The strip lights face down and add a nice not-too-harsh glow for waking up to.Highly recommended! Read LessRead less about Purchased the King size Min Bed in

This has been my son's bed for 10 years. It is sturdy, well made, and we love it. I wish that DWR would reintroduce the bed in the vibrant colors they once carried. My son's bed is in the green that used to be carried and is perfect for a child's room or for those with an affinity for space age furniture.

I've been meaning to write this review since we bought the min bed (at least 3 years ago). It has higher underbed clearance than most mattress-only beds. That make its easy to get in and out of bed - and easy to clean under. The bed has been absolutely noiseless (I noticed another review that indicated the bed was noisy - perhaps it was not put to...Read MoreRead more about I've been meaning to write this reviewgether tightly enough?). The other thing I really really like about this bed is that it is so absolutely sturdy that it doesn't require extra legs - again that helps with easy underbed cleaning. And no extra made it easier to store stuff there - but we don't do that anymore as we like the open/underbed look. I don't understand how people manage to stub their toes on the legs... :). Our pillows did slip between the mattress and headboard. But that was an easy fix - we simply pulled our foam mattress topper up higher on the mattress before putting on the mattress cover. This filled just enough of the gap to completely/permanently solve the problem. We need a second bed now and plan to get another min bed (considering the beautiful DWR Cove Bed - as it sits even higher; but the fact that it requires extra legs underneath - which are visible - may not work in that bedroom). If we do get a 2nd min bed we'll simply cover a narrow piece of foam and place it between the mattress and the headboard. Great bed! Read LessRead less about I've been meaning to write this review

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Black is known to amplify small spaces and also set the right mood in your bedroom space. A black colored bed makes your bedroom fell more intimate and special in ways that you could have never imagined before, something that you would never achieve with any of those bright colors. There is nothing as important as setting the right mood in your bedroom especially if you are a couple since it’s the base of your relationship romantically.
