A hole wasn’t drilled right and it was crucial to stability and set up. My husband tried to fix it for an hour but ended up needing to go to Home Depot to get a new screw to redrill it. We had already taken apart the other beds so waiting for a manufacturer’s replacement wasn’t an option. Added another 1.5-2 hours to building and that was with me continuing to work on the other bunks. Finished product is great though, kids absolutely love it and OT looks wonderful.

This took all day to put together by myself b/c of having to get plywood and cut to fit the bed, but for the price, this is a great triple bunk bed. Note to use a max 6" mattress for safety! Also, due to height, it is not easy changing sheets on the top bunk, but that's not the bed's fault!I do have a few design issues with it;1. Ladders are straight up, so not the easiest for kids to climb.2. Top rung and middle rung of large ladder butt up against the side of the bed frame, so can't fully grasp these or place whole foot on them.3. Had to put down plywood due to spacing of mattress supports. This is a must for foam mattresses, likely needed for others as well.

It was very easy to put together, I actually did it all on my own. However, I would be more comfortable with this bed mounted to the walls. It is easily shaken by my 4 year old daughter when she climbs up to the top and that does not sit well with me.

Overall, one of the easier things I have assembled. Took about 3 hours for my husband and I to put together total. We made a couple mistakes, #1 being not realizing there were 2 different types of directions. One for making a normal bunk bed and one for being a triple. Now that being said, none of that was held against the bed. The wood however is soooooo easily scratched it’s crazy. The other thing being that you can NOT use memory foam mattresses on these bunks. They will fall through. MAJOR bummer considering that is the type of mattresses we have! Overall sturdy and decently built. Love having the option to have different configurations of the bed.

Horrible service from the manufacturer! Beds were shipped without the top bunk piece. The manufacturer refused to overnight the piece and my children had to wait another week before they could all sleep in their beds!

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Black is known to amplify small spaces and also set the right mood in your bedroom space. A black colored bed makes your bedroom fell more intimate and special in ways that you could have never imagined before, something that you would never achieve with any of those bright colors. There is nothing as important as setting the right mood in your bedroom especially if you are a couple since it’s the base of your relationship romantically. A black bed adds a touch of intrigue but still blends right into the bedroom décor colors creating a timeless look.

Brown

Even though brown is not the most obvious color to use when decorating your bedroom. A Brown bed’s warmth nook makes it worth incorporating in to your bedroom. And the fact that you would never expect to see a brown bed or bedroom décor makes it perfect for anyone who loves experimenting on colors and doesn’t like using playful pastels and bright neon’s. To avoid it from being swallowed into the dark bedroom interior, it’s recommended to be used in a bedroom with bright interior colors that bring about more lighting, which is a rich tone up especially to the brown bed and in the process creating another element intrigue. A brown bed is the only way to tone down a bright bedroom interior without having to repaint the walls.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

White

A white bed is definitely a show stopper, it’s plain and simple. Despite people referring to white as lack of other colors, a white bed makes quite a statement. It gives your bedroom space a more open and timeless feel, while allowing your bedroom décor to standout even more clearly. A bed with a pure shade of white energizes your entire space giving it a vibrant new look, giving you the illusion of a more light within your bedroom. What makes a white bed a favorite for many is the fact that white as a color creates a relaxing sleep environment. And as you know choosing the right color is very important, since color is like magic and can influence your state of mind and emotions. If there is one thing you should do right is get yourself a white bed and enjoy every single moment you spend in your bedroom.

Bunk Loft

Sometimes, bunk beds and loft beds are often being used interchangeably. Don't fall for it. These two bed types have a difference. Yes, you may notice that they both have a ladder. However, a bunk bed has at least two beds stacked on top of each other and a loft bed, though a double-level bed as well, is only a single bed. Bunk beds are commonly seen in hostels, military camps, and dormitories. In addition, some of this kind come with a trundle or pull-out bed that can accommodate one more person.

On the other hand, loft beds allow you to use the space beneath your bed as a study or work area or as a closet. If the time will come when you decide that you don't need a bunk bed anymore, don't worry, you can convert it to a loft bed. Simply and carefully remove the bottom bunk. Depending on your needs, both bunk and loft beds are space-saving.

Daybed

Worried about having a small living space where a full-size bed and a couch wouldn't fit? Thanks be to furniture designers and makers for creating a solution in the form of daybeds. Great for tiny areas, daybeds can be placed anywhere and double as both a sofa and a bed. It can easily be moved when you're cleaning your room or you just want to try a different layout.

Perfect for teens and adults, have you thought that toddlers can also benefit from a daybed? It consumes less space than a bunk bed and can prevent the risk of the children falling and hurting from a two-level bed. Oftentimes, daybeds feature a trundle or a pull-out bed, which increases sleeping capacity, so you don't have to fret if someone wants to sleep over. Adding to its functionality and versatility is its built-in cabinets. This extra storage space is really suitable to maximize space.

Kids

The home is the training ground for children. It's where they learn and cultivate their values and character. So as a parent or a guardian, you play a big role in who they will become. Allow them to be themselves, to explore what they like, and to play with their imagination. Actually, you can start with their bedroom. How? Ask them what wall color they like. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! It can be a great bonding time for you and your kids.

A kid's bed can also be space-saving with its built-in drawers, which can be a way to tidy up their toys and books. Beds with bedside table, where your child(ren) can study and play with papers and crayons, are also available in the market. Of course, kids love to play. Make bedtime fun with tent beds, beds with slide, and house-shaped kids' beds! Surely, your youngster will enjoy both his waking and sleeping hours.

Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Wood

A wooden bed is a very popular choice especially when you are out buying a bed for your kids as they come with a number of advantages. Such as: wooden beds are known to be long lasting. At one point in life most of us have slept in a wooden bed, plus wooden beds can be traced back in history to our Tudor ancestors. If you opt to get you kid a bed of his or her own a wooden bed is always the best choice, since they are much easier to clean and maintain since its common knowledge how messy a child’s bedroom become. What makes a wooden bed the perfect choice for your child’s bedroom is its ability to withstand everything your child throws at it. This is because wooden beds are known to be sturdy and robust no matter the environment they are in.

Classic

Everyone wishes for a bedroom that looks like those found in the glossy pages of a home décor magazine, but due to budget constrains many people are not to achieve such a look. If you didn’t know it’s still possible to give your bedroom that expensive look and feel at a low budget which is achieved using the classic style. A classic styled bedroom is all about the details. However one thing you should note is that your bedroom will never look or feel classic as long as it’s dirty or filled with clutter no matter how much you spend decorating the bedroom. In order to incorporate that classic style into your bedroom you should ensure that your bedroom has the needed amount of space as we all know any luxurious looking bedroom should have that feeling of more floor space.
