Exactly what we needed for our memory foam mattress. Fit our Queen size bed perfectly! Hub turned our frame into a solid screwed in platform with supports down the center of the slats and with center supports on squares cut out of plywood for those supports to set on. The bed was too low so we put the boxspring on then this bunkie board so the coils do not effect the mattress! PERFECT!!

This is exactly what I needed, so much stronger than typical wood slats for a bed. The slats are very strong, enough to endure bed jumpers! The best thing is that they have a fabric covering which also is strong, the fabric helps keep the slats in place. So much better than I had anticipated. Yes, I would refer them to a friend or anyone that needs strong support for their bed.

These are heavy and work well to support my foam mattress. Fit is correct, and the covering keeps it all in place Can't beat the price and 1 day shipping.

These slats are awesome. The mattress on the bed frame wasn’t thick enough to keep from feeling the bars on the frame. Was very uncomfortable to sleep on until I put these slats on top of the frame. Made a huge difference in the comfort. Much better now.

This product is great! Our bed slats on our new bed were too far apart and this corrected the problem we had with our new mattress. More support now and it was an easy fix. Well worth it!

Easy to use. 3 starts because there are stains all over the fabric and a nasty odor. I appreciate how easy is to use straight out of packaging.

This wooden slat support is advertised for a queen bed and we bought it to use with my mother-in-law’s pine poster bed since we decided to remove her box spring to lower her bed overall. When we tried to put it down over the queen bed frame it kept falling through so we opted to just use plywood instead. We didn’t open it until well after the return period because her new place wasn’t ready to move in yet so now we’re stuck with it.

I needed an item like this for the "Sleep Sync Carmen Linen Bed Frame" i purchased from Overstock earlier as my mattress was sagging through the frame because there were no slats. Despite this being a full sized bed product, it did not reach either end and fell right through. I ended up having to cut it and use it the other way and for only the upper portion of my bed.

I purchased this item, believing it was a bed frame. I guess I should have read carefully. It really is deceiving from the picture.

WHAT IS THE WEIGHT OF THE BOX PACKAGING? WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF THE SHIPPING CONTAINER?
The dimensions and weight depends on the size you are ordering . for example twin size package will be smaller and lighter than King size .

Can you place these vertically inside the bed frame instead of width wise on a Queen size bed frame???
This queen size Bunkie Board did NOT fit the Queen size bed frame we purchased for it. We are just using the high frame with the slats it came with, and the queen mattress directly on the frame. Thus far, no incidences. Just don't have a use for the Bunkie Board that was fractions of an inch too wide for the bed frame. Love the high bed frame but very disappointed in the totally useless Bunkie Board.

What's the weight capacity of this bunkie board?
weight capacity depends on the size of the bunkie board you order. for example Twin can handle less weight then king size.

How wide is this? The measurements for the width to fit a twin bed seems too wide. Looking to fit in your Nantucket twin.

Full / Double

A Full / Double bed is a bed meant for couples to share, however with the emergence of so many size options full-double beds are now mainly meant for single sleepers. Back in the 1940s a couple would perfectly fit and enjoy a full double bed, in fact you might have seen one in those 90s movies a classic full-double bed with a nightstand next to it and an old black and white TV on the wall. In modern day, full-double beds are still very popular, mainly among the younger generation who are not married yet and desire a little bit of comfort. Full-double beds fell out of favor of many couple with the introduction of king and queen size beds in to the markets. But despite that a full-double bed is still an excellent choice for single adults with limited space but still desire a bigger bed.

King

A king size bed is the largest standard bed that you will find in the market plus it measures 76 inches by 80 inches, making it a great and popular choice among couple. Single sleepers with the proper finances also enjoy the luxury and comfort of having a huge bed all to themselves. The King Size bed also comes in different variations which are the California size bed that’s 4 inches longer than a normal king size bed and 4 inches narrower, another variation is the California king size bed, the ideal choice if you are sharing your bed with someone who is more than 6 feet tall. If you are couple looking for a bed with extra comfort and space for the both of you I would highly recommend the King size bed as it’s a combination of unmatched comfort and luxury.

Queen

A Queen Size bed is usually 60 inches by 80 inches. It’s a very popular bed as it ideal for various kind of lifestyle, it can suit a wide range of sleepers such as single sleepers looking for a luxurious bed or couple who are shopping on a budget. A queen size bed can fit in most bedrooms making it ideal for couples who want to share a bed plus also its affordability. The Queen Size bed has different variations in case you need a size larger than a normal queen bed but smaller than a king sized bed. These variations include an Olympic queen sized bed which has 6 extra inches on its width and a California queen which has 4 extra inches in length. A queen size bed will fit perfectly well in large bedrooms and smaller bedrooms.

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Twin XL

A twin xl bed is a 38 inches wide by 80 inches long bed that is usually best suited for single sleepers who are more than 6 feet tall, mainly growing children or teens who are likely to exceed 6 feet eventually. There are many benefits that are usually associated with having a twin-xl bed such as flexibility and versatility. Twin-xl bed offers a sleeper with more room for flexibility. A twin-xl bed is also ideal for growing children who have outgrown their baby cribs as it will be a while before they outgrow a twin-xl bed. It can also be used by a single adult sleeper especially if you are looking to save on space, as long as you are not that tall. A twin-xl bed has its own economic benefit especially if you are trying to save some money when furnishing your kids room, as it is usually not such a big investment.

Box Spring Required Standard

Are you looking to upgrade your bed or make a change, but are unsure which components are important and which you can ignore? Box spring is one of those things, and there are a few things that you need to determine if this accessory is necessary or not. Depending on whether you want to put your mattress on the floor or on top of your bed, Box spring will be necessary. The box spring helps a lot by providing underlying support for the mattress. It also raises the mattress to a more comfortable height, helping absorb impact and reducing the wear and tear on the mattress. Depending on your preference, the box spring protects the mattress by absorbing impact.

Beige

A beige bed can be used to warm up an already bright bedroom without having to paint all the surfaces and bedroom walls. Beige is a warm neutral color that will definitely bring about versatility as the bed’s beige hue integrates to the other colors of your bedroom creating a warm bedroom environment that is ideal for a good night sleep. In case you have an all-white bedroom interior and want to keep white from overpowering your bedroom space you should opt for a beige bed as it will neutralize the excess light while still creating a warm environment. Beige will bring about a more simple toned down environment despite the colors you have chosen for your bedroom décor since beige offers a color blocking solution. Despite what color is overpowering your bedroom space a beige bed will definitely tone it down.

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Black is known to amplify small spaces and also set the right mood in your bedroom space. A black colored bed makes your bedroom fell more intimate and special in ways that you could have never imagined before, something that you would never achieve with any of those bright colors. There is nothing as important as setting the right mood in your bedroom especially if you are a couple since it’s the base of your relationship romantically. A black bed adds a touch of intrigue but still blends right into the bedroom décor colors creating a timeless look.

Folding

If you're the one who lives somewhere with spatial constraints and wants to get the most from it, a folding bed is the fitting sleeping furniture for you. A folding, or fold-up, bed consists of a mattress and a frame that collapses and turns it into a portable piece, making it easy to put away when not in use. But before buying, consider these different folding bed types and weigh which is best suited to your home situation.

A murphy bed, also known as a "wall bed" or "hidden bed," looks like a typical bed; however, it can be folded up into the wall or a furniture. Usually comes with wheels, a rollaway folding bed can be very comfortable, but to replace its mattress can be expensive since it should be specially made to fold with the frame. Sofabed and bed couch or floor sofabed are space-saving and can be easily turned into a seat or a bed. If sleeping on the floor is not an issue for you, you may ought to buy a futon. It's portable and extremely good for saving space. Lastly, a camping cot is also a good option, especially if you love the great outdoors. Whichever the type you choose, surely you'll love and utilize your living space even more.

Platform

You may be looking for a bed that is timeless and cost-effective and maybe your life quote is "simplicity is beauty," then you can swear by platform beds. A platform bed is a simple bed frame that has a solid foundation capable to hold any type of mattress without the need of a box spring. It also comes with built-in slats to allow airflow and breathability. And since box springs are unnecessary, you can save money if you decide to buy a new mattress.

The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Wood

At one point in life most of us have slept in a wooden bed, plus wooden beds can be traced back in history to our Tudor ancestors. If you opt to get you kid a bed of his or her own a wooden bed is always the best choice, since they are much easier to clean and maintain since its common knowledge how messy a child’s bedroom become. What makes a wooden bed the perfect choice for your child’s bedroom is its ability to withstand everything your child throws at it. This is because wooden beds are known to be sturdy and robust no matter the environment they are in.

Bed Frames

Bed frames also known as bed steads are terms used to describe the support your mattress rests upon. It’s that part of your bed that holds up your mattress from the floor. A bed frame is one of the most overlooked part of a bed when making a bed purchase as most people tend to focus on the mattress alone, however, it’s good to note that bedframes play a crucial role when it comes to the comfort of your bed. The right bed frame provides you with enough comfort and support despite the type of mattress you are sleeping on, so if you have a bed that’s squeaking, sagging, or unstable the problem is usually your bed frame. As we all know a good night sleep starts with a solid foundation, a bedframe will impact the quality of sleep you get, a bed frame will even cause back pains and aches.

Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.

Softwoods

Softwood wood varieties are wood types that are sourced from cone bearing trees (evergreens with needles), such as spruce, pine, and fir. Softwood wood varieties are well-known for their superb ability to resist decay and/or rot, making them an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor use; they are long-lasting and very durable. Softwood wood varieties are also versatile and are the top choice for designing and crafting furniture with ornate, distinct details. Softwoods are more vulnerable to dings or dents; however, they are still very sturdy and dependable furniture pieces. Softwood wood types most often have a neutral, earthy color and pair well with bright color palettes to create a gorgeous contrast and give your bedroom a fresh new look!

Spruce

Spruce wood is a softwood variety, meaning it is an ideal choice for intricate and ornate furniture pieces. Spruce wood is often a lighter color and is a great addition to a bedroom designed with a minimalist style. Spruce wood is strong, long-lasting and relatively light compared to other wood types. Assembly of spruce wood bed frames is simple and fast. Spruce wood is also an excellent wood to stain, which gives you the chance to update your décor motif if you wish. Spruce wood is a simple, classy wood type that can enhance the ambience of your sleep space and promote calm.

Espresso Wood

When talking about coffees, espresso is the strong black one. In furniture and woods, it is actually somewhat similar to that. Espresso is a deep, dark brown color, so dark that it is sometimes mistaken to be jet black when, in fact, it stands between the two colors. If you want your bed to look elegant, go for espresso wood. It will also appear neat because dark color can magically tuck away dirt and dust. When under direct lighting, espresso gives out red hues. Cabinets, tables, and shelves that are in espresso sell more than those in light colors because many people opt for a traditional and classic look. Because of its neutral color, espresso is very versatile. It can go well with any home color scheme and design style. Since it's not black and definitely not a bright color, espresso can be pleasing and gentle to the feeling and to the eyes. It can also make you feel relaxed because of its soothing and coffee-like color, perfect after a long day at work.

Espresso may also be your favorite drink! You will definitely wake up feeling energized just by seeing your bed.
