While the bed does make a bold statement from a distance, it looks cheap up close. The headboard is cracked and has obviously been glued back together and there are big chips in the paint.

My worsted purchased ever, received bed with missing part: footboard. This beds look like it was a display item or use in someone's house for a while it got :scratches ,stains ,fingerprints food stains and cracks in the wood and the paint is very slappy, the picture shows off-white distressed bed but this was just Plain White The only good thing about this bed it's a heavy wood and nicely carved. In order for me to receive a new bed customer service asked me to wait over a month. Overall I'm very disappointed with this purchase and I don't think I will ever order anything from Overstock again. I wish I had the option to download some pictures.

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Hardwoods

Hardwood wood varieties refer to the type of tree the wood is taken from; it has nothing to do with how heavy or dense the wood is (contrary to popular belief!). Hardwood woods are sourced from trees that have leaves and lose their leaves in the winter months. Types of hardwood trees include hickory, maple, oak, birch and cherry (among others). Wood from hardwood trees is usually harder and therefore more dense, as these trees tend to grow at a slower rate. Hardwood is ideal for use in indoor furniture crafting, as it is sturdy and durable. Most hardwood varieties are bright and beautiful in their natural tone/shade, but many take well to staining, finishes and paints.
