Does this come with then black metal frame with legs as seen in the photos? I see from recent reviews it might not, but when I looked at the questions answered by OS it says it does... I want to cancel if not...

For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. There are many benefits that are usually associated with having a twin-xl bed such as flexibility and versatility. Twin-xl bed offers a sleeper with more room for flexibility. A twin-xl bed is also ideal for growing children who have outgrown their baby cribs as it will be a while before they outgrow a twin-xl bed. It can also be used by a single adult sleeper especially if you are looking to save on space, as long as you are not that tall. A twin-xl bed has its own economic benefit especially if you are trying to save some money when furnishing your kids room, as it is usually not such a big investment.

Purple

When it comes to decorating your bedroom with a purple bed it seems to stir up some strong emotions. It might not be a common primary decorating color but a purple bed is mainly used as an over-the top feminine flouncy decoration. When done right, a purple bed can make your bedroom quite sophisticated and even more contemporary such that it’s more appealing to both genders female and male. If you intend to go all in with purple as your primary bedroom color a purple bed would be a great way to start. Purple brings about a fresh vibe that’s not overwhelming, hence creating a glamorous bedroom that not only looks sophisticated but also luxurious. Sometime a little bit of purple might not be enough, you might want to spice up everything by choosing a purple throw pillow as well.

White

A white bed is definitely a show stopper, it’s plain and simple. Despite people referring to white as lack of other colors, a white bed makes quite a statement. It gives your bedroom space a more open and timeless feel, while allowing your bedroom décor to standout even more clearly. A bed with a pure shade of white energizes your entire space giving it a vibrant new look, giving you the illusion of a more light within your bedroom. What makes a white bed a favorite for many is the fact that white as a color creates a relaxing sleep environment. And as you know choosing the right color is very important, since color is like magic and can influence your state of mind and emotions. Platform

You may be looking for a bed that is timeless and cost-effective and maybe your life quote is "simplicity is beauty," then you can swear by platform beds. A platform bed is a simple bed frame that has a solid foundation capable to hold any type of mattress without the need of a box spring. It also comes with built-in slats to allow airflow and breathability. And since box springs are unnecessary, you can save money if you decide to buy a new mattress.

Though simple, it doesn't mean that this type of bed is boring. Platform beds come from various materials, such wood, metal, and fiberboard. You may even have them upholstered for an added classic touch! Ideal for all ages, they are also available in different sizes: twin, full, queen, and king. Interestingly, platform beds are great for storing extra stuff since many of them come with drawers and headboard shelving, perfect for keeping your bedroom tidy.

Regular

Nowadays, there are many bed frames that spring up from here and there, making it somewhat confusing and difficult to choose. One of them is the traditional regular bed.

A bit similar to a platform bed, a regular bed also consists of a bed frame, mostly metal, and a mattress. However, for this type, a box spring is needed underneath the mattress since a regular traditional frame doesn't have slats to provide enough support for the mattress. In addition, a box spring is a bed base comprises of a wooden frame containing metal grid or springs and wrapped in fabric. Because of the box spring, a regular bed is usually higher than a platform bed, making it gentler for your knees and reducing the risk of injury. The mattress on a regular bed, moreover, can last long since the base helps distribute your body weight evenly, protecting it from shock and being saggy. Old-fashioned yet a tried-and-true piece, you can never go wrong with regular beds.

Slat

A good bed must always have a strong base. The slat bed design is a type of base made for a bed. They are a series of connected bars that lie across the width of the frame. The designs offer great support for the mattress, hence providing good support to your back when sleeping and allows good ventilation to the mattress. Good ventilation for the mattress keeps them cleaner and more hygienic. The slats are made from strong wood ensuring the durability of your bed. These bases provide good firm support and are a simple and cheaper option. The slatted design comes in two designs to choose from. You can choose from two types of slats - solid slats or sprung slats. They also offer a good leveling of your mattress, allowing it to last longer.

Making some of us to wonder what might be so great about these foam beds? And for sure it turns out to be a lot. One main reason is how a foam bed evenly distributes your weight and pressure over a specific point giving you as the sleeper a pressure relief point. Foam beds are known to last to a period of up to ten years making them very economical and beneficial. With such benefits in mind a foam bed can only be described as hybrid beds mainly due to their unmatched benefits. Plus with the latest foam technology a foam bed can help you keep you warm or cool depending on room temperature.

Metal

One of the most asked question when it comes metallic beds is, are they safe for younger children? And the answer is always, yes they are. One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. Metal beds are also highly portable since they are lighter than other types of bed, and in case you are the kind of person who love rearranging their bedroom setup you will definitely love the metal bed.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

What makes a wooden bed the perfect choice for your child’s bedroom is its ability to withstand everything your child throws at it. This is because wooden beds are known to be sturdy and robust no matter the environment they are in.

Bed Frames

Bed frames also known as bed steads are terms used to describe the support your mattress rests upon. It’s that part of your bed that holds up your mattress from the floor. A bed frame is one of the most overlooked part of a bed when making a bed purchase as most people tend to focus on the mattress alone, however, it’s good to note that bedframes play a crucial role when it comes to the comfort of your bed. The right bed frame provides you with enough comfort and support despite the type of mattress you are sleeping on, so if you have a bed that’s squeaking, sagging, or unstable the problem is usually your bed frame. As we all know a good night sleep starts with a solid foundation, a bedframe will impact the quality of sleep you get, a bed frame will even cause back pains and aches.

Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats.
