The bed frame is very sturdy, and the style is simple and clean. Like it a lot as it can easily match different beddings' colors and prints.

Great frame that goes with everything. Neutral enough to work with other furniture lines. Looks great as well with not being overdone- minimalistic.

I bought this bed due to the reviews I read on Overstock and I'm happy with the bed frame. It was easy to assemble. All the screws include plastic washers on them which seems to keep this bed quiet - not a squeak! It's nice to have storage space under the bed. I use a queen size Purple Mattress and it fits perfectly on the queen bed frame.

What a great product. This is our third purchase of this item. This bed is very easy to put together with great instructions. We have had our first two beds for over a year and they have held up well. It looks great and has great storage opportunities under the bed.

This bed is well made and sturdy and feels like a significantly better product than the price lends one to believe. We paired with the LUCID 12-in plush gel memory foam for a guest room and it's quite lovely.

We’ve had this bed frame for four years and our only complaint is it comes loose much easier than our old bed frame.

The support and purpose of the type of bed seems, so far, to be sturdy and effective. Looks good. Quite a bit of assembly required, though.

Do you think this bed would be OK to be put on risers for the extra space under the bed? I am worried about it affecting the stability of the bed.
The bed is very sturdy and the space under would accommodate much storage. I believe risers would be ok, but would take away from the contemporary style of the bed.

Do you think this bed would be OK to be put on risers for the extra space under the bed? I am worried about it affecting the stability of the bed.
It's pretty high already as is, but I see no reason you couldn't add risers under it. The legs are such that they would fit onto risers.

has anyone used this with a trundle?... I've found a roll out trundle through Overstock with 4" height which gives about 6-7" for a mattress. Is this doable?
We arent using with a trundle but I could totally see it working with one. My daughters bed has a trundle under her twin bed and the space under her bed is less than the space under this one. Not sure on her trundle mattress thickness but we purchased her mattress from a local store and they referred to it as a trundle/bunk bed mattress.

What are the dimensions of the legs? (I'm considering putting them on "risers" to have more clearance.
I'm able to fit large storage boxes under the bed without a problem. No risers needed! I did put a bed skirt on the bottom also to hide what's underneath and also had to cover the legs with pool noodles I cut. Kept on whacking into the legs with my toes and that wasn't pleasant :( The bed is great and very sturdy. Use it in our guest room.

What are the dimensions of the legs? (I'm considering putting them on "risers" to have more clearance.
The legs have a footprint of 1"x2" and there is a center support with a footprint of 1.5"x1.5". From the floor to the bottom of the rail is 11.5"

I would have to measure them but that sounds about right

It is actually a 12" clearance, and I have actually had the same thoughts as to using risers later on, when I put lager items under it, but for now it's great!

Have had the bed frame for several months, and it's getting very squeaky. I've tightened all the bolts twice since originally put together, but haven't been able to quiet the bed down. My 120-lb 14 year old son uses this bed and I would like to get at least one year out of it, but time is running out. Does anyone have any ideas on how to reduce the squeak noise from this one?
Im having same problem- its junk and wasted money

I haven't run into the same problem and hopefully don't, but is it squeaking at the joints where the screws are? If so you could go out to Lowe's or home Depot and buy a set of rubber washers. They will compress when you put them in between the screw and metal but will add a layer of sound proofing. If it's the actual metal frame piece (like the bar) that's creaking and not a contact point, I would think the frame may be faulty in the sense that too much stress has been placed on it. The other thing is if it's on carpet, tile, or wood. If the surface doesn't plant the frame well (bed can slide a bit) consider putting some type of friction source under the legs (rubber etc).

I only use this bed for my guest room, so I do not know if the squeaky would be a problem.

Same problem - after only 2 months! I got it SPECIFICALLY because it was recommended as a "quiet, sturdy" bed. I can't tell where it's squeaking from, but I'll try what the person above mentioned - rubber washers - otherwise, WD40 sprayed on parts touching works well usually - BUT the smell is awful, so I use Pam spray- like for cooking - works the same, no terrible smell

I have the bed headboard pushed against a wall and that stabilizes any movement. Also, perhaps oiling the joints will help with the squeaking.

Would this bed frame be good with a memory foam mattress?
I would look at the manufactures suggestion for the mattress. I used a regular 10" mattress and the boys love it.

Would this bed frame be good with a memory foam mattress?
I haven't measured the distance between the slats but we bought a memory foam mattress for this frame and it has worked wonderfully! No sagging or unevenness, etc. The frame is sturdier than most we've seen and was simple to put together. We like it so much we are considering purchasing the "king" version as well!

The frame is made of strong steel but the slats are solid wood. Since there is no need for a box spring it should be able to handle any Queen Size mattress.

What kind of tools are needed to assemble this bed?
A hex key (allen wrench) is included for assembly. Frame is easy to assemble, I do recommend using some sort of thread locker (loctite) on the screws to avoid them loosening up in the future.

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Black is known to amplify small spaces and also set the right mood in your bedroom space. A black colored bed makes your bedroom fell more intimate and special in ways that you could have never imagined before, something that you would never achieve with any of those bright colors. There is nothing as important as setting the right mood in your bedroom especially if you are a couple since it’s the base of your relationship romantically. A black bed adds a touch of intrigue but still blends right into the bedroom décor colors creating a timeless look.

It also comes with built-in slats to allow airflow and breathability. And since box springs are unnecessary, you can save money if you decide to buy a new mattress.

Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress.
