Got the look I wanted but half the price. Easy to put together- approximately took 45 minutes. Not as sturdy and I was hoping, so we just kick the kids off the bed . Low profile. Gorgeous color.

They didn’t have the color I wanted but I ordered it anyways. When it came in, I stained it to the darkness I wanted & put it together. A week later my purple mattress came in & fit perfectly on my platform

Can the legs be removed or shortened. I want a very low profile bed. Thank you!
Frame can not be utilized without the legs nor can they be modified, doing so will void all warranty.

is this a low profile or medium profile platform frame?
Low Profile Universal Bed Frame offers heavy-duty support that's lower to the ground. Sitting 4.5 inches from the floor.I have only heard of low profile or regular bed frames. There are many heights in different designs of low profile beds.

Is this built in such a way that you can attach a headboard?
A headboard cannot be attached to this frame, the frame does not have built in headboard attachments.

Is this built in such a way that you can attach a headboard?
I bought a metal bed frame and put a free standing headboard (unattached)and it stays perfectly in place. Now I’ve ordered this low profile bed, I hope it works the same way. They do sell brackets and can probably be screwed in gently. Usually the bed and mattress is heavy enough to keep headboard in place without any added hardware. My headboard is a lighter weight king size padded type. Good luck! This bed looks worth the try!

can you use the box springs with this platform bed?
No a box spring is not recommended for this bed.

can you use the box springs with this platform bed?
A box mattress would only make the low profile bed a “regular height bed”The slats are sturdy enough that you don’t need box springs. It allows airflow. Some people have added a measured piece of very thin board over the slats for added support, but it’s not needed. For those wanting added protection. I read that tip in a review.

Description says it's pine wood. Reviews say oak. Which is it?
I read the ad and it only says solid wood, with a pine finish. It doesn’t say anywhere what type of solid wood. If it looks as nice as the pictures, I will be happy to get a wood frame for a good price. Best wishes in your search!

Would a combo springs and foam mattress work on this? How wide should I look for?
It suggested that the best height of mattress to be 10 inches.
0 Helpful 0
what is the distance between the wood slats?
3 inches between the slats. That’s good and allows airflow to protect your mattress from mold. A mattress needs to breathe.

How much underbed clearance does this bed have?
This has a clearance of approximately 6.9 inches underneath.

Unfortunately not, there aren't any mounting brackets.

Will this bed hold a heavy mattress? Like a Tempur-Pedic? The king size frame.
I would go with an iron bed frame for a heavy mattress like that. Maybe others will chime in and say differently. I noticed there are many wood platform beds that include steel in their bed frames.

Can you tell me what country the oak is from?
