Well this is amazing. It has everything! Drawers, closet, desk, hangout hide out, display shelves, spot for drinks and a bed. It’s incredibly sturdy. The space next to the mattress is a great substitute for a night stand (can’t have those with a bunk bed) so it’s is a great spot for water or electronic devices that you don’t want to lose. Those are the reasons I give it 5 stars but if there was a separate rating for ease of assembly it would be 0. There were 3 boxes, it took 2 of us a total of 8 hours, over 3 days BUT it’s expected, given you are putting a fortress together. TIPS: build this and place in the exact spot you would like it as your building because you will NOT be able to move it, once it’s built just consider it a fixture built into the room, it’s heavy and if you try to slide it the doors don’t slide with it and it can start to bend them. We tried to move it with 4 people after it was built with no success. Luckily my son loves it and doesn’t care if it’s too far to the left.

My husband and I really like this bed. It has shelving, a desk, closet, drawers, and door to "secret hideout". The kids love playing in it. It's also nice that the bed isn't too high so they actually have space to sit up on the bed without hitting their head on our low ceilings. The only bummer is that we had to stagger them in the room instead of putting them across from each other due to the location of the desk. Pretty sturdy though. Took my husband 8 hrs by himself for the first one and 3 hrs for the 2nd one. We also switched out the handles for shiny "girly" ones to get a little more feminine feel. Picture I added does not include updated handles. Oh, also, some of the items had scratches and bent corners inside the packaging, indicating someone packaged it roughly. We are pretty easy going so we don't care but we probably should considering the huge price tag.

Overall it’s a great bed, however there’s one drawer spot that constantly comes off the track no matter which drawer we put in and there were some dents from shipping. It’s particle board so not amazing quality but for a kids bed it’s fine. My son loves the hideout spot, we bought a curtain and rod for one side because the bed didn’t work in the corner.

Very large, would be extremely hard to move. Nice for younger children but as they get a little older it’s less fun and more of a nuisance. Not worth it in my opinion as they outgrow it way too fast. Extremely pricy for the amount of time they will enjoy it. We purchased 2 and I’m sorry I didn’t choose something more versatile as they grow. The ladder is hard to use and extremely difficult to put together. Looks nice though. Also, the doors are extremely difficult to keep even and they tend to lean inward even without pressure, happened on both tat we purchased.

There were quite a few pieces that came with cracks running through them. If it weren’t for that, I would be giving 5 stars. My 10 year loves the bed, especially the hide out underneath. It took my husband and I around 6-8 hours to put together.

We have had this bed less than a year and it is slowly falling apart. It started off with the drawers breaking one my one, not sure what is wrong with them but they won't open. Now the bed portion is hanging on by a thread. My 50lb son sleeps in it and it should be able to hold up. The screws holding the mattress support are pulling out of the frame.

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Blue

A Blue bed creates a soothing soft feeling each time you walk into your bedroom. Just like a breath of fresh air it adds a dreamy feeling and a ton of versatility making it one of the best go to bed colors. In fact blue is one of the best color for sleep as it is very calming. One of the best thing you can do is get yourself a blue bed, according to a recent study an individual with a blue bed or bedroom slept for an approximate of 8 hours. This show cases how good the blue color is since even an average person doesn’t even get 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep. As if that is not good enough 60 percent of people who sleep on a blue bed or bedroom are likely to wake up each morning very happy, after all who wouldn’t after such a great sleep.

Bunk Loft

Sometimes, bunk beds and loft beds are often being used interchangeably. Don't fall for it. These two bed types have a difference. Yes, you may notice that they both have a ladder. However, a bunk bed has at least two beds stacked on top of each other and a loft bed, though a double-level bed as well, is only a single bed. Bunk beds are commonly seen in hostels, military camps, and dormitories. In addition, some of this kind come with a trundle or pull-out bed that can accommodate one more person.

On the other hand, loft beds allow you to use the space beneath your bed as a study or work area or as a closet. If the time will come when you decide that you don't need a bunk bed anymore, don't worry, you can convert it to a loft bed. Simply and carefully remove the bottom bunk. Depending on your needs, both bunk and loft beds are space-saving.

Drawers

A cluttered bedroom is not pleasing and relaxing at all. Sometimes, though your things are well-organized, seeing them still makes your space crowded. Two options are available: throw away your stuff or upgrade your regular bed into a drawer or storage bed. For sure, you will choose the latter, right?

Space-saving and multifunctional, drawer beds can make you feel like you don't need shelves and cabinets anymore. They come with 2 drawers, 4 drawers, 2 full and 2 half drawers, or end drawers built in the bed frame. Full ottoman and half ottoman are also available, where the entire bed offers hidden storage space. Drawer beds can also benefit your stuff since they are hidden, they won't accumulate dust. Finding them can also be easy for you because you have just one place to look at. After all, a tidy room can make your sleep better and more comfortable. And, yes, there's no such thing as too much storage.

Kids

The home is the training ground for children. It's where they learn and cultivate their values and character. So as a parent or a guardian, you play a big role in who they will become. Allow them to be themselves, to explore what they like, and to play with their imagination. Actually, you can start with their bedroom. How? Ask them what wall color they like. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! It can be a great bonding time for you and your kids.

A kid's bed can also be space-saving with its built-in drawers, which can be a way to tidy up their toys and books. Beds with bedside table, where your child(ren) can study and play with papers and crayons, are also available in the market. Of course, kids love to play. Make bedtime fun with tent beds, beds with slide, and house-shaped kids' beds! Surely, your youngster will enjoy both his waking and sleeping hours.

Storage Included

When your bedroom space is small storage can be the biggest challenge you will encounter. Your closet could be a solution but not big enough to pack so many clothes. Well, you may want to buy a bigger cabinet, but you don’t want to pack so many dressers and cabinets into your space that it feels clunky and crowded. Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress. Ultimately, your choice will come down to what's most convenient for you.

Desk

A bed desk is the most comfortable and logical way to use things like your laptop or tablet, or to use as a stable base to write things on. If you're the type of person that gets those great ideas coming to mind when you're in the bedroom - then the desk is an excellent feature to have because you'll be able to jot down your brilliant ideas easily and without having to worry about your writing not being easy to read! Another benefit the desk has, is you can use it to eat on without making a big mess of your bed! The bed desk is a versatile feature to have, and you will get a lot of use out of it. Once you start to get used to a desk as a bed feature, you will wonder how you got this far in life without one!

Laminate

A laminate bed is a bed made out of printed plastic material that are bonded to make a core layer which is then covered with a transparent wear layer. One huge advantage of a laminate bed over other bed materials is it’s low cost, and low maintenance plus it can be used for other purposes throughout your home environment. A laminate bed is an economical bed choice as compared to other bedding materials. Despite its low cost it can be manufactured in a way that can make it appear as the expensive premium quality materials. Unlike other types of beds a laminate bed is very easy to maintain and take care of. With a laminate bed you have access to unlimited number of designs options.

Metal

One of the most asked question when it comes metallic beds is, are they safe for younger children? And the answer is always, yes they are. One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. Metal beds are also highly portable since they are lighter than other types of bed, and in case you are the kind of person who love rearranging their bedroom setup you will definitely love the metal bed.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Cottage Country

When you need the bedroom to feel appealing and comforting at the same time, you can't go past the cottage-country style bed. Cottage-country styled beds are a simple bed. They're excellent for rooms that need a clean, basic look. Highly recommended for people that see themselves as minimalists - if you don't like your room to feel cluttered and messy, the cottage-country bed is the choice for you because of how plain and simple they are. They’re a great choice for when you don’t want the room to be too adventurous. The cottage-country bed is also a fantastic choice for when you have other items in the bedroom that you want to stand out! This style of bed won’t take the attention away from other prized pieces that you have nearby. Keep it clean by dusting it, lightly polishing it and wiping it down with some warm water.

Traditional

It's hard to go past a traditional bed. They're traditional for a reason, after all. Comforting and nostalgic, these beds are an excellent choice for homes and bedrooms that just need a simple, classic bed. Highly recommended for childrens beds, or as a bed for guests - they're the choice for when you don't want or need the bed to stand out. When you need a bed that just works and gets the job done - you're going to want to consider a traditional bed. This style of bed has lasted the test of time, and for good reason - they're the true soldier of the bedding room, always ready to get what needs to be done, done. The traditional bed is easy to maintain, you just wipe it down with some warm water and a dry it off with a towel. The simplicity of this bed and how easy it is to clean make the traditional bed your first choice for any time where you need a standard bed that won’t become the main attraction in a room.

Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.
