This was incredibly easy to put together and my son loves it. It is sturdy, but not heavy. The blue color is beautiful. Overall, this a well-constructed bed for a kid.

This bed is beautiful and fairly study. Setting it up was pretty easy and I was done in about 30 minutes. There were a few paint chips and some uneven paint but not bothersome hence the less one star.

I love me the quality of the wood. However connecting the side rails could be made easier and more tool friendly . This new hybrid mattress is very comfy.

I think the bed is well made and the blue is nice. I was disappointed to learn I couldn’t buy the trundle shown in the picture though. The other issue was it came in these massive boxes and the giant staples marred the bed. It isn’t really visible the way we set up the bed so I just let it be. If it has been in a more visible area I would have asked for an exchange. So far overstock hasn’t been bad to deal with. The furniture came fast and it was easy to assemble myself. As a woman that is nice. Beat part about ordering your furniture through overstock we got it in 6 days, unlike your local furniture store where you have a 2-3 month wait and then have issues with their installers.

I was looking a bed with storage and was under the impression that was what I was getting. The bed arrived 12 days late. Had it arrived earlier I would have sent it back and ask for a refund. The slats for the mattress is flimsy. If you are looking for something lasting, this is not it. It is definitely overpriced, considering it has no draws and no form of storage. Would not recommend.

The bed frame broke within 60 days. My son is a whopping 80 pounds. It’s made of cheap compressed cardboard like material. I tried to get a replacement part and the only option is an entirely new bed, which means take it all apart and put a new one back together. We are heading out to buy real wood in the hopes we can get it to last a bit longer. For this ridiculous price you can get a real wood bed. Stay clear of this one, it’s cute but cheap and won’t last.

This is probably I one of the worst bed I've seen in my life. Quality is horrible, assembled it back in 2019, just taking it apart now since I am moving and immediately found out that It won't be able to be assembled again, all of the screw holes is loose and there's just no way you can put this back together again once disassembled. Did I also mention that even when it was first assembled it's wobbly and feels like it's going to break apart anytime anyone sleeps on it? AVOID THIS THING.

Full / Double

A Full / Double bed is a bed meant for couples to share, however with the emergence of so many size options full-double beds are now mainly meant for single sleepers. Back in the 1940s a couple would perfectly fit and enjoy a full double bed, in fact you might have seen one in those 90s movies a classic full-double bed with a nightstand next to it and an old black and white TV on the wall. In modern day, full-double beds are still very popular, mainly among the younger generation who are not married yet and desire a little bit of comfort. Full-double beds fell out of favor of many couple with the introduction of king and queen size beds in to the markets. But despite that a full-double bed is still an excellent choice for single adults with limited space but still desire a bigger bed.

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Blue

A Blue bed creates a soothing soft feeling each time you walk into your bedroom. Just like a breath of fresh air it adds a dreamy feeling and a ton of versatility making it one of the best go to bed colors. In fact blue is one of the best color for sleep as it is very calming. One of the best thing you can do is get yourself a blue bed, according to a recent study an individual with a blue bed or bedroom slept for an approximate of 8 hours. This show cases how good the blue color is since even an average person doesn’t even get 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep. As if that is not good enough 60 percent of people who sleep on a blue bed or bedroom are likely to wake up each morning very happy, after all who wouldn’t after such a great sleep.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

Four Poster

Introduced in the 1400's, four-poster beds were more than just a piece of furniture -- they were a symbol of money and power. It was known as the "Bed of Kings." Because of its Medieval origin and images associated with it, such as carvings and heavy drapes, some may think that four-poster beds are out-of-date. Little did they know that this type of bed can adapt to today's modernism. Initially made from wood, four-poster beds, nowadays, are built from metal and acrylics. Japanese-style room? Scandinavian? Tropical? Don't worry, this type of bed can be personalized and definitely take on any theme. You may leave it as it is, put up curtains, or have a sheet drape over the side. No matter how you style it, four-poster beds can and will make you feel, sleep, and wake up like a royalty.

Bonus tip: Kids can also have a four-poster bed. Have the posters shaped like a house and your little ones may feel like they are in their own dollhouse.

Kids

The home is the training ground for children. It's where they learn and cultivate their values and character. So as a parent or a guardian, you play a big role in who they will become. Allow them to be themselves, to explore what they like, and to play with their imagination. Actually, you can start with their bedroom. How? Ask them what wall color they like. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! It can be a great bonding time for you and your kids.

A kid's bed can also be space-saving with its built-in drawers, which can be a way to tidy up their toys and books. Beds with bedside table, where your child(ren) can study and play with papers and crayons, are also available in the market. Of course, kids love to play. Make bedtime fun with tent beds, beds with slide, and house-shaped kids' beds! Surely, your youngster will enjoy both his waking and sleeping hours.

Platform

You may be looking for a bed that is timeless and cost-effective and maybe your life quote is "simplicity is beauty," then you can swear by platform beds. A platform bed is a simple bed frame that has a solid foundation capable to hold any type of mattress without the need of a box spring. It also comes with built-in slats to allow airflow and breathability. And since box springs are unnecessary, you can save money if you decide to buy a new mattress.

Though simple, it doesn't mean that this type of bed is boring. Platform beds come from various materials, such wood, metal, and fiberboard. You may even have them upholstered for an added classic touch! Ideal for all ages, they are also available in different sizes: twin, full, queen, and king. Interestingly, platform beds are great for storing extra stuff since many of them come with drawers and headboard shelving, perfect for keeping your bedroom tidy.

Slat

A good bed must always have a strong base. The slat bed design is a type of base made for a bed. They are a series of connected bars that lie across the width of the frame. The designs offer great support for the mattress, hence providing good support to your back when sleeping and allows good ventilation to the mattress. Good ventilation for the mattress keeps them cleaner and more hygienic. The slats are made from strong wood ensuring the durability of your bed. These bases provide good firm support and are a simple and cheaper option. The slatted design comes in two designs to choose from. You can choose from two types of slats - solid slats or sprung slats. They also offer a good leveling of your mattress, allowing it to last longer.

Storage Included

When your bedroom space is small storage can be the biggest challenge you will encounter. Your closet could be a solution but not big enough to pack so many clothes. Well, you may want to buy a bigger cabinet, but you don’t want to pack so many dressers and cabinets into your space that it feels clunky and crowded. Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress. Ultimately, your choice will come down to what's most convenient for you.

Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed.
