I read all the reviews and they were great, but none of them mentioned adult use. I wanted this for my VRBO, not my children, so I was nervous. But now that I've put it together, I am very comfortable climbing up and down it and have no concern for adult use. Very easy to follow put together instructions. I bought 2 of these and am very happy with them! Like all the other reviews say, I also recommend the additional slats to put the mattress on.

We love this bunk bed! We actually bought it twice for each our boys. Sturdy and looks really nice. For our younger one we are using only the top bunk (great as a toddler bed until he's big enough for the bunk bed). Highly recommend

The bed was easy to assemble and great quality for the price. I ended up using them as separate twin beds in the end but still would repurchase if I was looking for bunk or double twin beds.

Decent, and has held together well for about six months. It only came with 4 slats to support the top bunk. We went out and bought more. They do bend a bit with rowdiness on the top (inevitable with kids close enough to share a bunk). It looks nice!

Overall I'm pleased with this product. The assembly instructions were a bit confusing but I was able to plod through it. Make sure to pay close attention to the different bolt types during installation. Also, I was surprised to learn that the product required additional slats or plywood to support a typical mattress. Once assembled and by adding plywood, this is a good quality bunk. My 4 and 6 year olds love it.

I really liked the way the bunkbeds locked, nice and simple. But after we put it together I realized that the bottom bunk doesn’t have space for a child to sit down.

Bed is good quality and was fairly easy to put together, but they purposefully (mentions it in the instructions) don't include enough bed slats so you'll have to go buy wood and cut it to fit in order to actually be able to sleep in the bed. Once I did this the bed was wonderful, but what an annoying step.

The bunkbed did not match what was pictured online. In the picture there are under bed drawers for storage. Nowhere did it state the the drawers were not included. I will never buy from this company again. Also, not all of the holes were pre drilled to make it easier to put together..just a couple were drilled

What is the weight limit
Here’s out standard disclaimer:The STATIC weight limit for each bed is about 300 lbs. We do test all our beds and bunk beds in the laboratory. Up to 300 lbs. of load is added to the middle of the bed that has 12 slats. We can guarantee that the 12 slats, the rails and the slat supports, the weakest parts of a bunk bed, will hold under these testing parameters. The problem is that in real life people toss and turn, sit up in the middle of the bed or sit on the edge of a rail, kids might jump, etc. There is no way of doing the DYNAMIC testing since there are so many variables. What we strongly suggest is: 1) putting a sheet of plywood over the slats; 2) using a spring mattress instead of a foam one; 3) if you have to sit on the edge of the bed, sit on the mattress, not on the rail itself, etc.

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

White

A white bed is definitely a show stopper, it’s plain and simple. Despite people referring to white as lack of other colors, a white bed makes quite a statement. It gives your bedroom space a more open and timeless feel, while allowing your bedroom décor to standout even more clearly. A bed with a pure shade of white energizes your entire space giving it a vibrant new look, giving you the illusion of a more light within your bedroom. What makes a white bed a favorite for many is the fact that white as a color creates a relaxing sleep environment. And as you know choosing the right color is very important, since color is like magic and can influence your state of mind and emotions. If there is one thing you should do right is get yourself a white bed and enjoy every single moment you spend in your bedroom.

Kids

The home is the training ground for children. It's where they learn and cultivate their values and character. So as a parent or a guardian, you play a big role in who they will become. Allow them to be themselves, to explore what they like, and to play with their imagination. Actually, you can start with their bedroom. How? Ask them what wall color they like. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! It can be a great bonding time for you and your kids.

A kid's bed can also be space-saving with its built-in drawers, which can be a way to tidy up their toys and books. Beds with bedside table, where your child(ren) can study and play with papers and crayons, are also available in the market. Of course, kids love to play. Make bedtime fun with tent beds, beds with slide, and house-shaped kids' beds! Surely, your youngster will enjoy both his waking and sleeping hours.

Regular

Nowadays, there are many bed frames that spring up from here and there, making it somewhat confusing and difficult to choose. One of them is the traditional regular bed.

A bit similar to a platform bed, a regular bed also consists of a bed frame, mostly metal, and a mattress. However, for this type, a box spring is needed underneath the mattress since a regular traditional frame doesn't have slats to provide enough support for the mattress. In addition, a box spring is a bed base comprises of a wooden frame containing metal grid or springs and wrapped in fabric. Because of the box spring, a regular bed is usually higher than a platform bed, making it gentler for your knees and reducing the risk of injury. The mattress on a regular bed, moreover, can last long since the base helps distribute your body weight evenly, protecting it from shock and being saggy. Old-fashioned yet a tried-and-true piece, you can never go wrong with regular beds.

When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. Metal beds are also highly portable since they are lighter than other types of bed, and in case you are the kind of person who love rearranging their bedroom setup you will definitely love the metal bed.

Hardwood wood varieties refer to the type of tree the wood is taken from; it has nothing to do with how heavy or dense the wood is (contrary to popular belief!). Hardwood woods are sourced from trees that have leaves and lose their leaves in the winter months. Types of hardwood trees include hickory, maple, oak, birch and cherry (among others). Wood from hardwood trees is usually harder and therefore more dense, as these trees tend to grow at a slower rate. Hardwood is ideal for use in indoor furniture crafting, as it is sturdy and durable. Most hardwood varieties are bright and beautiful in their natural tone/shade, but many take well to staining, finishes and paints. Pine wood is also lighter in weight than some other wood varieties, making assembly of bed frames relatively simple and quick. Pine wood bed frames are an ideal wood to stain, which gives you the opportunity to change or enhance your style as your preferences change.
