It's exactly what I was looking for- Saturday and sleek twin bed that slides under The other twin bed that I got from overstock too: (https://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/K-B-B59-12-White-Hi-Riser-Bed/7585323/product.html). I have a thin pillow on it and it slides completely under. I use it for my 4 yo as I was not sure if he was ready for a bed without rails yet. Happy with purchase.

Questions & Answers

Does this trundle rise up to meet the height of the other bed? So it would make a king if it did? Asking before I buy because during the summer months my granddaughter stays but shares a room with daughter and they like it to be the same height

I have purchased item number 18341089, Bellwood Victorian Daybed, along with item number 13308704, 10-inch mattress. Will this trundle accommodate item number 13308704 underneath the day bed, will there be enough space for a 10-inch mattress? I would like to leave the mattress on the trundle, underneath the daybed - and have it roll out. Please advise if these will all fit together, thank you.

What is the base of the trundle made of? Is it metal rods or springs? If you have pics of the trundle without Matress for better view would be great. Thank you!
I don't have a pic, but we just put ours together... The metal slats are roughly 10 inches apart... Initially I figured I'd need to add a platform on top to rest a foam-based mattress on it but it doesn't need it- it's perfect, clean-looking and easy!

The picture shows the end frame piece appearing to form a "box" to keep the mattress in place. Is this true on the other end, i.e. sized to fit a standard twin mattress? If it's open, it would work with an XL (extra long) mattress but I'm not interested in that feature. I want 4 "sides" though they may be small.
Hello rockster55, the trundle bed has rails on the corners to hold the mattress in place. This bed will accommodate a standard twin size mattress. Thank you for shopping with us!

This is meant to hold just a twin mattress, right? Not a mattress/ box spring combination?
Hello jj, a trundle is meant to fit under a bed so you would want to keep it thin. If your not putting it under a bed you could use a box spring on this. Have a great day!

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

White

A white bed is definitely a show stopper, it’s plain and simple. Despite people referring to white as lack of other colors, a white bed makes quite a statement. It gives your bedroom space a more open and timeless feel, while allowing your bedroom décor to standout even more clearly. A bed with a pure shade of white energizes your entire space giving it a vibrant new look, giving you the illusion of a more light within your bedroom. What makes a white bed a favorite for many is the fact that white as a color creates a relaxing sleep environment. And as you know choosing the right color is very important, since color is like magic and can influence your state of mind and emotions. If there is one thing you should do right is get yourself a white bed and enjoy every single moment you spend in your bedroom.

Corner

Look around your bedroom. Do you feel like you want to spice things up? Go ahead and perhaps you can start with your bed! Typically, a bed is placed in the middle of the room. But moving it towards the corner is definitely not against the rules! To perfectly match the corner, turn your regular bed into a corner one by extending its headboard on each side. If you want to have an extra seating space, you can put together two single beds to make an L-shaped sofa.

Corner beds are also ideal for shared bedrooms. Place two beds head-to-head and put a common storage or display area into the space between them. Another way to set up a corner bed is to angle it. You can place a plant or install a corner shelf if you're bothered by the empty space between the bed and the walls. Ultimately, however you want to decorate your corner bed and space, make sure to make it even more intimate.

Kids

The home is the training ground for children. It's where they learn and cultivate their values and character. So as a parent or a guardian, you play a big role in who they will become. Allow them to be themselves, to explore what they like, and to play with their imagination. Actually, you can start with their bedroom. How? Ask them what wall color they like. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! It can be a great bonding time for you and your kids.

A kid's bed can also be space-saving with its built-in drawers, which can be a way to tidy up their toys and books. Beds with bedside table, where your child(ren) can study and play with papers and crayons, are also available in the market. Of course, kids love to play. Make bedtime fun with tent beds, beds with slide, and house-shaped kids' beds! Surely, your youngster will enjoy both his waking and sleeping hours.

Casters

In case you are looking for a bed that can easily move from one point to another, get yourself a bed made with a caster or install caster features. Casters make your bed look elegant. Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Bed frames also known as bed steads are terms used to describe the support your mattress rests upon. It’s that part of your bed that holds up your mattress from the floor. A bed frame is one of the most overlooked part of a bed when making a bed purchase as most people tend to focus on the mattress alone, however, it’s good to note that bedframes play a crucial role when it comes to the comfort of your bed.
