Vintage 81.5'' Velvet Square Arm Sleeper

LOVE!! I decided to get the gray color and its so pretty, I thought it would be dull but it isnt. Very comfortable and the velvet is soft on the skin. Great size, not small but not bulking, minimal to a point. It was fairly easy to put together, I did it myself. I probably wont use the bed feature as much but I did try it and nice to use. It is stiff and not sink your self in soft, but I like it stiff, it will wear better and its in my sunroom so not a heavy use furniture. It definitely makes a cozy curl up sofa for reading. Highly recommend!

Obsessed with this couch, wanted a small sleeper for my living room and it fits perfectly. The color is exactly what I wanted and it feels so nice! I assembled it alone and it wasn’t too bad!

My daughter loves this sofa for her new apartment. She said it was very easy to assemble in about 20 minutes. It’s a little stiff but thinks it will soften up and she lives that it easily makes into a guest bed. The best part was the very inexpensive extra fee we paid to have it brought inside. We expected that meant it would be brought into her apartment vestibule, but the deliver man carried it up to her 4th floor walk up! She tipped him well and was thrilled that she didn’t have to hire someone else to lug it up for her!

We love it! The couch is beautiful and made well. I added glue around the bolts in the arms to make them more stable, but that is just me being paranoid. The bed is firm, but not terrible. I would recommend this to anyone!

Beautiful and very comfortable. Great back support even for hours of TV watching. Was a bit hard to assemble... Mostly since some of the screw holes were not alined well. But so worth it the bit of frustration.

I LOVE this sofa!!! For one thing, it’s really unique and pretty and the green velvet is just perfect. It arrived and I put it together right away…couldn’t wait. It wasn’t too hard to put together and there was just one screw that just wouldn’t attach to the bolt, but it otherwise seemed solid so I’m hoping for the best. I agree that it IS hard, but it’s also less than 600 for a couch, so I didn’t have high comfort expectations. I added a ton of throw pillows and a cute throw blanket and found it grew on me and wasn’t that I comfortable once I added the pillows.All in all, I recommend this couch.

This is a really beautiful piece. I've had it for about two months now and, because I have a teeny flat, I'm using it as my primary bed. It sleeps very comfortably and is a nice firm surface. The velvet seems to be holding up well and the piece is very sturdy. I got the green velvet, which is not as bright, deep green as it appeared in the photographs, but also not as muted as it appeared in some of the other customers' photographs. It's a nice, deep, leafy green. One thing to note-- when the sofa is laying flat, it is not a proper full size. I'd say it's a generous twin. While it would be entirely possible to fit two adults on it, they'd probably be quite smushed together.

Great value for money, solid construction, firm but comfortable

The couch looks great and its surprisingly more comfortable than I thought. I asked for it to be delivered while I was home since I live on a 5th floor apt building and the delivery guys were prompt and communicated every step of the way. Very happy with my purchase!

This sofa is awesome! The fabric is luscious and looks so luxurious. The color is beautiful, not to mention it is very comfortable- to me. Not everyone may agree, but I don’t necessarily like sofas you sink-in-to. I like them to be more sturdy and upright for my posture. And although we haven’t used it yet as a convertible sofa- I imagine the firmness will be much appreciated. Our pets love it too- it has become their favorite place to take a nap....

I bought this in pink for our office. It’s on the firm side but it’s not a couch we use regularly so it works great for us. I put a mattress cushion on it when we have guests sleep on it.

This is a beautiful couch, green color shade is more subtle, not as bright green pictured on the website. It's feels solid, firm, it's very supportive and comfortable to use as a bed. I love the soft velvet feel, and the option to adjust the incline of the back rest. It was delivered as expected, well packaged, delivery staff were kind enough to bring it inside on a snowy day. Assembly was straightforward, fairly quick. Overall the individual parts fit well together, with exception of one corner of the front panel( not structurally critical). The screw hole wasn't aligned in one corner, but the right angle bracket meant for it bends slightly, so it compensated. I would definitely recommend.

I love this couch, and so do guests who stay over on it. When I'm having back pain, I actually prefer it to sleeping in my bed as it's very firm. My neighbor stayed with me on and off while he was getting his apartment's hurricane damage repaired, and he liked staying on it so much he ordered one for his renovated living room!

This is very sturdy and well made. It was not easy to maneuver around so out for room delivery if you can!

Color is lighter in person but it is perfect! A lot comfier that I would have thought considering previous reviews said it was hard.

The first couch I ordered was a lemon (the holes didn’t line up and a seam came apart within a week). But wayfair sent a new one right away. Comfort is ok but for the price, I love it. I’ve even used it as a futon bed now twice for guests.

Classy expensive looking sofa very firm. This is not the kind of Sofa you want if you prefer soft cozy. However it is great for lying on. The legs Are brown in color which seems an odd combination with Gray.

My guests tell me it’s VERY hard for sleeping. I have purchased a mattress topper, perhaps that will help.....

ProsVery pretty and solid. Total improvement in the mood of our den.ConsKind of a shallow seat. This could be remedied with an ottoman or by reclining the couch a notch.The shape of the “bed” once fully reclined is not exactly a rectangle, because the back of the couch isn’t straight across. A couple sharing this as a bed would have to like each other a whole lot and possibly draw straws to determine who gets the weird side.

I love this couch because of the design, the color, and how well it fits my vision for modern/french decor.The only negative is that it certainly isn't a couch to sink in. It's a bit hard and stiff. I am hoping that in time it will loosen up a bit but I still love it.

I really like the look of this sofa, and the upholstery is nicely assembled. It was pretty easy to put together, except that I put the arms on backwards. (I knew it was wrong, but I thought I was following the directions.) My husband noticed and fixed the problem quickly. I think the order in which certain steps of the assembly are described would benefit from a slight modification. It seemed to me that putting the trim piece on the front edge of the sofa was clumsy and could be moved back a bit in the assembly order. The sofa is easy to adjust to the sleeping position and back to sitting. It is quite firm you could say hard. I plan to use a pillow top or foam mattress when I have guests. I think even my grandchildren would complain about the firmness. Since I am not planning to use it as a primary sleeping sofa, I am keeping it.satisfied and am keeping otI like it.

This is my first time purchasing a piece of furniture I can call my own, so why not a gorgeously soft pink couch for my personal roomwork office guest roomDELIVERY First off, I know mail has been crazy for everyone regardless if its USPS, FedEx, you name it, it’s been slower than normal. Things that usually get to you in a few days now take weeks, but I ordered this couch on May 17th, 2020, and received it on May 30th, 2020. With it being such a large item being sent in this pandemic, I was surprised it came this early. The two young men that brought in my couch were delightful and quick. All tens for that team!SETUP The couch itself was a bit of a challenge to put together by myself as a 23 year old, 5 foot woman. I should have waited on my husband to help, but my excitement got the best of me. It took me around 2.5 hours (with various breaks, lol!) to put together on my own. With that being said, please spare yourself the energy and have a second person help since it is large and slightly heavy (114lbs) so you don’t hurt yourself!THE FINAL PRODUCT The couch is ultra smooth velvet, and like any velvet surface, if you run it one way, it’ll show the move of direction on the fabric until you brush it back. If that bothers you, velvet in general is not for you. The stitching is simply gorgeous with the tufted accenting, and I noticed no flaws as I worked around the couch while putting it together. The pink is true to the photos and depending on your lighting (like mine in this room) the couch may appear lighter. COMFORT This is definitely on the firm side, which is great for me since I like my back to feel supported. I’m hoping to use this primarily as a nap couch while working from home, and will be using this to accommodate family as they stay over. I might buy a mattress topper if it’s too firm for my guests’ liking. I’m sure as time goes on with continued used, the firmness may die down a bit, which is part of the process of breaking in a good piece of furniture. THE SLEEPER PART I bought this primarily because it folds down into a full size bed, which is great since I want to make sure more than one person can be accommodated if desired. You do need to push the back of the couch towards the front to unlock the hinge mechanism in order to lay the couch down. When you bring the back side up again, it clicks at various angles that you can leave the couch angled at, up to 90 degrees. Also, my husband, who’s six foot, was able to lay comfortably head to toe straight on this couch between the arms of the seat. UPDATE MAY 21st, 2021 I guess I spoke too soon. One of the seams popped on the couch after having two nights of guest sleeping on it, leaving me up to the task of repairing it. Really disappointed since I paid over 500 for this. BEWARE, great to look at but not as functional as I dream it would be.

Pretty. Two months old! Stitching is not strong. Hard as a rock. So uncomfortable. Not intended for a living room. More for a sitting room.

We had to return this right away. It’s beautiful but it feels like sitting on stone. We got it as a replacement for a well-loved couch in our rental home and knew that this new couch would get us bad reviews for sure. It cost us a penny to return, but it was worth it since it was clearly not meant for regular, relaxing use. More like a parlor visual accent than sitting furniture

I absolutely love the pink color, it’s perfect for my vanity room! It was a little confusing to put together because I didn’t know all the pieces were hidden in zippers underneath lol. The downside is that this couch is soooo uncomfortable. I’d rather pluck all my toenails off and bathe in alcohol rather than sleep on this piece of gorgeous tufted driftwood. Horrible! Make an appointment with the chiropractor ahead of time. Definitely wouldn’t recommend sleeping on this AT ALL.

Seat is like sitting on a bench. I had to add a 3 inch foam cushion to make it somewhat comfortable. That being said, I had to cover that with a blanket and now I can not see the beautiful sofa.

Look Good but no aging very well already we need a new Couch cuz the Leg is all Damage,They said this coach were over $ 900.00 not worth it ..

This is a small/narrow sofa. After the difficulty of putting it together, I was disappointed how narrow the seat was. It's suitable for a child's sofa or for an area that needs a small footprint. I like how it folds down into a bed. As, the living room at my place is more of a kids' hangout, it works for me, but wouldn't work if this were a sofa for an adult-size hang out. The color and style look nice though.

Hours to Assemble. Looks good once its done. Sadly I bought two and have one more to assemble. Will wait for my fingers to heal.

Stay away from this sofa! It is incredibly hard with almost no give when you sit on it. When laid out to a bed, it’s uncomfortable and only sleeps one because of the curved back. We have had this for about a month and it’s already ripping. I would have never spent $400+ on this sofa knowing all this. The only pluses are it’s easy to assemble and easy to clean. Still not worth it. Look elsewhere!!

Very uncomfortable and I’ve only had it 9 months and it’s falling apart. It’s tearing at the seams and a leg broke. Very disappointed.

I would give this zero stars if I could. This is the biggest waste of money- it looks 1000 better in the pictures. It’s like sitting on a concrete bench, and when you put your elbow on the arm, it permanently crushes it- there is something with the consistency of florists foam in the arms. I’d send it back if I could! Absolute landfill garbage.

I’ve had this sofa for 10 months now and only used it a few times to sit , to make it work it’s best you use tons of blankets and use at as a bed , if I could have returned it I would have but it’s too heavy , it’s very firm it hurts my back it’s beautiful but it’s uncomfortable. Save your money and do NOT buy a futon .
