I have mixed feelings about this bed. It looks wonderful, although the back isn't as high as I believed it would be from the pictures, as you can see in my photo all three standard pillows sit just as high or higher than the back of the bed. The bed as pictured has a 10in mattress on top.Putting this together was a little more frustrating than I anticipated. I have put together a lot of furniture in my day, I'm not a newbie, and even with a drill, this bed took me and my wife three hours to assemble. I could tell the instructions were not written by someone native to English, so I followed them to a "T" only to realize they hadn't properly communicated a key instruction. They said "do not tighten the bolts until ALL are assembled" when they meant each piece, not the whole bed. Because of their mistake and my dedication to following the instructions exactly (when it went against my better judgment) the bed wobbles on one side. The platform slats are way smaller than I expected for a bed that claims to hold 400lbs. I do not trust this bed to hold that weight without the trundle under it. I also don't trust that the trundle will hold that amount of weight. For comparison, my king bed is made by Zinus, and the wood slats are WAY sturdier. I weigh 220, and I have no problem trusting my king bed. I will not lay on this bed without the trundle and trundle mattress underneath it.A 10in mattress is too big for the trundle. An 8in is as deep as I'd go. We bought a 10in based on other reviews, and the mattress scrapes along the bed when pulling it in and out, which adds more structure to the bed. But the trundle is not made for a 10in mattress.I'd recommend this for a child's room (as long as your child isn't too rowdy), or guest bedroom if you have friends who weigh 150lbs and below. I would not recommend this to anyone who weighs above 180lbs.UPDATE: I have gone back and tightened all the bolts again so the bed feels sturdier, but still not as sturdy as I'd expect for a bed claiming the ability to hold 400lbs. I will now sleep on this bed without the trundle underneath it, however I still doubt this bed or the trundle will hold 400lbs a piece.UPDATE #2: Despite my doubts, this bed continues to be solid. We've taken it down and reassembled it a couple of times now and each time we reassemble it seems sturdier than before. Multiple people of different weights have slept on the bed/trundle with no issues or complaints. Because of this I've upgraded my review from three to five stars.

Love it as a bed - sturdy and comfy - but as a couch it’s a little high for sitting. My feet don’t touch the floor and it takes a ton of pillows to support your back. Get a thin mattress and it might work - mine is too thick.

I was really happy impressed with shipping, and I think it’s beautiful and looks great in my living room. Only 4 stars because some of the nail heads aren’t evenly spaced and it’s definitely noticeable.

Absolutely perfect for me. Good size, nice fabric. 2 pieces come in a big box, just snap back piece into bottom piece and click. Done and relax !! Would buy again. Update .. double knocking on left side when rocking became annoying (kinda like hitting a pot hole .. boom boom) so I discarded chair after only 4 months !! ‍

Once I hammered the slats so they’d stay in place it looks great. Instructions had no “writing” just photos of what screws and bolts were needed for each section. Written as well as photos would have helped immensely. All in all, for the price, it’ll work in the spare room. Also, my screws and bolts were black to match the frame. I guess they learned something from previous reviews.

It took 2 hours and me reevaluating the entirety of my relationship with a loved one, to build this, but I like it. Granted it’s only been 2 days, so I’ll have to report back later if it holds up. No news, is good news. )

Queen

A Queen Size bed is usually 60 inches by 80 inches. It’s a very popular bed as it ideal for various kind of lifestyle, it can suit a wide range of sleepers such as single sleepers looking for a luxurious bed or couple who are shopping on a budget. A queen size bed can fit in most bedrooms making it ideal for couples who want to share a bed plus also its affordability. The Queen Size bed has different variations in case you need a size larger than a normal queen bed but smaller than a king sized bed. These variations include an Olympic queen sized bed which has 6 extra inches on its width and a California queen which has 4 extra inches in length. A queen size bed will fit perfectly well in large bedrooms and smaller bedrooms.

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Black is known to amplify small spaces and also set the right mood in your bedroom space. A black colored bed makes your bedroom fell more intimate and special in ways that you could have never imagined before, something that you would never achieve with any of those bright colors. There is nothing as important as setting the right mood in your bedroom especially if you are a couple since it’s the base of your relationship romantically. A black bed adds a touch of intrigue but still blends right into the bedroom décor colors creating a timeless look.

Metal

One of the most asked question when it comes metallic beds is, are they safe for younger children? And the answer is always, yes they are. One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. Metal beds are also highly portable since they are lighter than other types of bed, and in case you are the kind of person who love rearranging their bedroom setup you will definitely love the metal bed.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Bed Frames

Bed frames also known as bed steads are terms used to describe the support your mattress rests upon. It’s that part of your bed that holds up your mattress from the floor. A bed frame is one of the most overlooked part of a bed when making a bed purchase as most people tend to focus on the mattress alone, however, it’s good to note that bedframes play a crucial role when it comes to the comfort of your bed. The right bed frame provides you with enough comfort and support despite the type of mattress you are sleeping on, so if you have a bed that’s squeaking, sagging, or unstable the problem is usually your bed frame. As we all know a good night sleep starts with a solid foundation, a bedframe will impact the quality of sleep you get, a bed frame will even cause back pains and aches.

Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.
