Great product and very reliable thus far! There were many pieces to install, but the direction was easy to follow. Leather on the corner was easily scratched once touched, thus giving 4 stars.

The legs on the bed are not that sturdy. I suggest reinforcing them. Otherwise the look and feel is nice. One of the middle legs bent after just 3 months.

Flimsy, cheap. Spend more to get more. The ‘leatherette’ is paper thin and there are only four support slats underneath, not nearly enough!!

Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.

Faux Leather

Faux-leather is the best choice for anyone that wants that luxurious leather look, without having to spend the extra money on real leather. It can look just as nice as genuine leather. It's also a great choice for anyone that wants a high-class look to their bed, but might have children or animals that could damage the upholstery - you don't want to risk having that happen, so faux-leather is a great way to get the look you're after in the bedroom, without it coming with the risks that might come from having genuine leather. If you look after this faux-leather upholstery, it will last you a very long time - just keep it away from anything hot! A great choice for all bedroom settings. Keep it clean by just wiping it down with a warm cloth.

Leather

Leather is a traditional upholstery material for a reason. It looks great, feels fantastic and is long-lasting. It also has some symbolism attached to it - leather upholstery says things without verbalising them. It says "class". It says "luxury". It says "style". If you've got a need or a want for an upholstery material that's ticks the classic and traditional boxes, as well as the box that says "magnificence" at the same time - then it's the leather upholstery material that you're going to wish your bed was made from. Leather is a strong and durable material, that is scratch-resistant and won’t wrinkle or crease up - it’s an excellent choice for anyone that needs their bed to be not just a status symbol, but also a good long-term, practical decision. Treat yourself to something special, and choose leather.

Plastic

With an average of 5% usage increase per year, plastic or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) fabric is probably one of the most commonly used textile for bed upholstery in the world, proving its versatility. Also called as "vinyl," PVC is made from 57% chlorine (from salt) and 43% ethylene (from crude oil or sugar crops). You don't have to worry if a certain style is available; a plastic-upholstered bed has a wide variety of design and color choices, which means it looks good on any color scheme and theme. In addition, an everyday use is not a problem for this type of bed upholstery since plastic is designed to be stain-resistant and antimicrobial. It also has a promising strength, durability, and flexibility that can stand distortion and abrasion. Furthermore, many bed makers prefer PVC fabric because of its long lifespan and resistance to water and chemical, making it effortless to clean when your favorite drink spills over.

Polyurethane

Are you a leather fan yet can't seem to afford one? Polyurethane (PU) leather got you! Comes in several names such as bicast leather, split leather, bonded leather, reconstituted leather, and corrected grain leather, PU fabric is a material made of layer/s of polymer resins. A PU coating is added, which gives its leather look. Compared to real leather, PU is easier to clean and washable. It is also animal-friendly, so you don't have to keep your dear pets away from the room. Despite being cheaper, this artificial leather is very durable and doesn't crack with use or fade under sunlight, though it can more easily be torn than the real one. It doesn't dry out over time, as well. Actually, it's a better textile compared to other faux leather alternatives and is more eco-friendly than real leather when talking about sustainability because its production uses less resources.

Comes in varieties of color, PU goes well with a modern industrial style.

Hardwoods

Hardwood wood varieties refer to the type of tree the wood is taken from; it has nothing to do with how heavy or dense the wood is (contrary to popular belief!). Hardwood woods are sourced from trees that have leaves and lose their leaves in the winter months. Types of hardwood trees include hickory, maple, oak, birch and cherry (among others). Wood from hardwood trees is usually harder and therefore more dense, as these trees tend to grow at a slower rate. Hardwood is ideal for use in indoor furniture crafting, as it is sturdy and durable. Most hardwood varieties are bright and beautiful in their natural tone/shade, but many take well to staining, finishes and paints. The hardwood varieties offer a cozy, warm look and enrich your bedroom style. Hardwood bed frames are a great way to brighten your bedroom and enhance the overall look and feel of your sleep space!

Rubberwood

Rubberwood is a beautiful solid wood that has a rich and inviting color and can enhance the beauty and coziness of your bedroom. Often crafted with rounded edges and gold metal accents, bed frames made of rubberwood truly enrich your bedroom style and home décor. Rubberwood bedroom furniture is simple in design, but still beautiful, eye-catching and classic. The warm color of rubberwood makes your bedroom cozy and inviting; the darker tone is best suited to larger bedrooms and complements well with a warm color palette, such as a deep red or terra cotta. Rubberwood bed frames or headboards can be accented with simple textiles of either neutral or bold color palettes, such as whites or navy’s, which further enhances the cozy feel of your bedroom. Bed frames or headboards made of rosewood is a great choice to revamp your bedroom style while maintaining a classy and traditional décor motif.

Espresso Wood

When talking about coffees, espresso is the strong black one. In furniture and woods, it is actually somewhat similar to that. Espresso is a deep, dark brown color, so dark that it is sometimes mistaken to be jet black when, in fact, it stands between the two colors. If you want your bed to look elegant, go for espresso wood. It will also appear neat because dark color can magically tuck away dirt and dust. When under direct lighting, espresso gives out red hues. Cabinets, tables, and shelves that are in espresso sell more than those in light colors because many people opt for a traditional and classic look. Because of its neutral color, espresso is very versatile. It can go well with any home color scheme and design style. Since it's not black and definitely not a bright color, espresso can be pleasing and gentle to the feeling and to the eyes. It can also make you feel relaxed because of its soothing and coffee-like color, perfect after a long day at work.

Espresso may also be your favorite drink! You will definitely wake up feeling energized just by seeing your bed.
