Still getting used to it, my old, worn-out bed frame was much taller. Other than that, I really like it. I put it together myself and it was fun and easy.

Great bed, color is definitely more of just a matte brown like the color description vs a more bronze color like it looks in the picture. If you want a brown metal bed frame instead of the more common black, this is the bed for you.

Pretty sturdy once you get together, be careful when you flip it to roll it up the correct way-we bent a leg and it broke off-still sturdy with out it though but we re-enforced with a piece of wood. More of a Brown color as well NOT GOLD at all.

The frame was exactly as described. Only 1 downfall, one of the screw holes wasnt big enough for the screws it came with and one of the under legs the hole was too big for the plastic peice that holds the screw so it kept falling in. But other then that its a beautiful heavy bed.

It’s a beautiful bed for the price. Made to use without boxspring, I have to use a box spring with my mattress and as a result the mattress obscures most of the headboard.

The frame is a bit challenging to put together with one of the welded nuts not wanting to accept the screw requiring some effort and time to get the screw installed . The tubes on the head and foot board are open with only spot welding and gives the frame a cheap appearance. The finish on the top center of the head board was scuffed exposing the bare metal due to a packaging not protecting that area very well. Also, it looked like the package was subject to some rough handling.

I was expecting a little more. The frame is very squeaky and the Brown frame is a lot more brown than the photos...kinda like a “meh” brown. Not in love with it, but the price was right.

In the end, this bed worked out well, but it took a long time to get there. The first bed that was sent did not fit together properly. Replacement parts were ordered, but ended up being unavailable and a new bed then needed to be ordered and shipped. It took over 4 and a half weeks to get a bed delivered with pieces that went together properly.

Different color than pictured. Not sturdy. Like, at all. It broke in the middle of the night 3 months into us having it. The metal poles that hold the bed up directly underneath are made with very cheap, bendable metal that is not meant to last. Save your money and get a sturdier frame. (

I think this is a cheap waste of money. I paid way too much for this bedframe. Its not very sturdy, the color is like a VERY UGLY poo brown, its extremely complicated to put together, and just overall is not what the pictures or description portrayed. I'm very disappointed in this buy. I'm only going to try to sell this off my hands very quickly and get a different bedframe.

The bed is cute. But that’s all that’s going for it. We noticed several “welded” on legs had broken off. And last night while sleeping we heard a crash and saw another had broken off. We are average in size. Not a very stable bed in my opinion.

Cheaply made. Metal slats literally snapped in half less than 6 months after I bought this. Color is way off in the photos as well. It’s definitely a muddy brown.

This bed should not be sold in a King size! The description is off - the bed is squeaky and there is not enough support for a king mattress. You will definitely need a box spring or some extra support for your mattress. We tried it with 2 different mattresses. Also, not much room for a pillow top mattress. Material is not sturdy and pieces came broken and missing. It’s hollow metal so not strong or supportive at all. We were very disappointed.

This bed frame broke after 4 months of use. I would have expected a king size frame to accommodate a bigger person (6’4, 250 lbs) but the bottom support legs needed straightening early and then the frame broke at the joint getting into bed last night. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement.

This broke within the first year. A support leg snapped completely off and it developed a hideous squeak whenever someone would put weight on the left side. Had to replace it with something better. Save your money.

Full / Double

A Full / Double bed is a bed meant for couples to share, however with the emergence of so many size options full-double beds are now mainly meant for single sleepers. Back in the 1940s a couple would perfectly fit and enjoy a full double bed, in fact you might have seen one in those 90s movies a classic full-double bed with a nightstand next to it and an old black and white TV on the wall. In modern day, full-double beds are still very popular, mainly among the younger generation who are not married yet and desire a little bit of comfort. Full-double beds fell out of favor of many couple with the introduction of king and queen size beds in to the markets. But despite that a full-double bed is still an excellent choice for single adults with limited space but still desire a bigger bed.

King

A king size bed is the largest standard bed that you will find in the market plus it measures 76 inches by 80 inches, making it a great and popular choice among couple. Single sleepers with the proper finances also enjoy the luxury and comfort of having a huge bed all to themselves. The King Size bed also comes in different variations which are the California size bed that’s 4 inches longer than a normal king size bed and 4 inches narrower, another variation is the California king size bed, the ideal choice if you are sharing your bed with someone who is more than 6 feet tall. If you are couple looking for a bed with extra comfort and space for the both of you I would highly recommend the King size bed as it’s a combination of unmatched comfort and luxury.

Queen

A Queen Size bed is usually 60 inches by 80 inches. It’s a very popular bed as it ideal for various kind of lifestyle, it can suit a wide range of sleepers such as single sleepers looking for a luxurious bed or couple who are shopping on a budget. A queen size bed can fit in most bedrooms making it ideal for couples who want to share a bed plus also its affordability. The Queen Size bed has different variations in case you need a size larger than a normal queen bed but smaller than a king sized bed. These variations include an Olympic queen sized bed which has 6 extra inches on its width and a California queen which has 4 extra inches in length. A queen size bed will fit perfectly well in large bedrooms and smaller bedrooms.

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Black is known to amplify small spaces and also set the right mood in your bedroom space. A black colored bed makes your bedroom fell more intimate and special in ways that you could have never imagined before, something that you would never achieve with any of those bright colors. There is nothing as important as setting the right mood in your bedroom especially if you are a couple since it’s the base of your relationship romantically. A black bed adds a touch of intrigue but still blends right into the bedroom décor colors creating a timeless look.

Brown

Even though brown is not the most obvious color to use when decorating your bedroom. A Brown bed’s warmth nook makes it worth incorporating in to your bedroom. And the fact that you would never expect to see a brown bed or bedroom décor makes it perfect for anyone who loves experimenting on colors and doesn’t like using playful pastels and bright neon’s. To avoid it from being swallowed into the dark bedroom interior, it’s recommended to be used in a bedroom with bright interior colors that bring about more lighting, which is a rich tone up especially to the brown bed and in the process creating another element intrigue. A brown bed is the only way to tone down a bright bedroom interior without having to repaint the walls.

Natural

Many people tend to think that in order to create a dramatic high-contrast bedroom space, you need to decorate your bedroom with bright colors or moody greens, blues, and reds. Well, it’s time to think again, because now with a natural colored/themed bed you can create a dreamy, dramatic and romantic bedroom space. A natural bed gives your bedroom a cozy and romantic look which is much better that the traditional rather spooky and cave like look, that is achieved through lots of unnecessary painting. Especially if you are a minimalist a natural bed is your best option as it gives you that minimalist look since it’s perfectly fine without any clutter and unnecessary furnishing and also it provides you with a clean, serene vibe. If you intend to keep an all-natural vibe in your bedroom then you should go and get yourself a Natural bed.

Kids

The home is the training ground for children. It's where they learn and cultivate their values and character. So as a parent or a guardian, you play a big role in who they will become. Allow them to be themselves, to explore what they like, and to play with their imagination. Actually, you can start with their bedroom. How? Ask them what wall color they like. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! It can be a great bonding time for you and your kids.

A kid's bed can also be space-saving with its built-in drawers, which can be a way to tidy up their toys and books. Beds with bedside table, where your child(ren) can study and play with papers and crayons, are also available in the market. Of course, kids love to play. Make bedtime fun with tent beds, beds with slide, and house-shaped kids' beds! Surely, your youngster will enjoy both his waking and sleeping hours.

Heavy Duty Squeak Resistant

We all look for beds that don’t squeak, for better, noise free peaceful slumber at night. This includes everyone else in the family that sleeps under same roof. Kids move around a lot while they sleep or doing some other activities, so as parents being able to sleep without hearing the creak every time they move around the bed. Beds that don’t squeak are made from solid wood materials. These types of materials are stronger, well-built and less inclined to produce small noises. The reason behind the squeaky bed is that the frame is loose so the side rails and headboard are rubbing against each other.

Solid wood frames are made from the materials like mahogany, oak, rubber wood, teak and bamboo. Solid wood platform beds do not squeak as well as it is good for your back. The bed frame by lucid features is a sturdy wood construction which helps get rid of creaking noise.

Metal

One of the most asked question when it comes metallic beds is, are they safe for younger children? And the answer is always, yes they are. One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. Metal beds are also highly portable since they are lighter than other types of bed, and in case you are the kind of person who love rearranging their bedroom setup you will definitely love the metal bed.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Bed Frames

Bed frames also known as bed steads are terms used to describe the support your mattress rests upon. It’s that part of your bed that holds up your mattress from the floor. A bed frame is one of the most overlooked part of a bed when making a bed purchase as most people tend to focus on the mattress alone, however, it’s good to note that bedframes play a crucial role when it comes to the comfort of your bed. The right bed frame provides you with enough comfort and support despite the type of mattress you are sleeping on, so if you have a bed that’s squeaking, sagging, or unstable the problem is usually your bed frame. As we all know a good night sleep starts with a solid foundation, a bedframe will impact the quality of sleep you get, a bed frame will even cause back pains and aches.

Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.
