Once assembled, this table is very nice. It has a beautiful rustic warm brown finish knot holes and all. The base and pedestal legs are block and glued making for a solid foundation. That said, during assembly I did discover what I consider to be a major design issue. The legs do not insert into the bases. They simply sit on top. Then there are two very long and very thin "screws" that are supposed to anchor each pedestal to the base through pre-drilled holes. They simply are too weak to provide a secure attachment and broke loose immediately with very little applied pressure causing the table to wobble. I had to redrill the holes and purchase very long and thick lag bolts to correct the problem. Only then did I get the solid foundation this table needed.

Very nice table. The table top surface is a bit more "rustic" (i.e., rough sawn) of a finish than what we expected. Nevertheless, for a rustic table it is a nice/simple/clean piece that we will not be afraid to use. If it sees some hard wear, I expect it will just continue to look rustic. Worth the price, but not a show piece.
