This is a very good, easy to assemble TV stand. It’s not so tall not soo low but is alright for someone who lives in an apartment and doesn’t want their Tv too low or too high. Recommend this product. Easy to assemble, takes two people to put together in less then 30 mins.

Nice, clean style, easy to assemble and very solid when put together. No wobble. No plastic here, the shelves are solid glass. You will quickly discover this is a very heavy stand. It is best to assemble it where it will be placed.Big enough to house all your equipment on the three large shelves. My TV is a 60" on a pedestal stand and there is plenty of room for the large stand. Everything is rock solid with the screen extending about 2.25" each end over the stand. If you have a pedestal stand a 65" or even a 70" TV would probably fit. Just check the stand and shelf measurements before ordering. I expect most of the "just barely fits" comments on here are about TV's with legs at each end of the the TV.

I needed something wider than my current stand and this was the right size and looked nice in the pictures. It was easy to assemble and looks nice in real life also. The manufacturer claims it will support 99 pounds on the top shelf and 44 pounds on the lower two. I had my 55" TV on a swivel mount stand and together they weigh about 55 pounds. Unlike my previous stand, this one has thinner glass and no support underneath. As you can see in the picture, there was a visible sag in the top shelf (about 1/8" in the center) with this load. I didn't feel comfortable with this so I installed the stands that came with the TV which put the load out near the edges (see the other pic). I gave up the swivel capability but the peace of mind is worth it.

There were two assembly problems. One of the screw/nut assemblies to fasten the cable router would not go together, not even when held separately and attempted to hand assemble. The casting was off on one or both of them. Since the other pair were already in I went through my hardware leftovers until I found a set that worked. That added 45 minutes to assembly time. Also, when I took out the set screws, I noticed two little pieces of clear rubber or plastic that came out of the envelope. There is no mention of them or any visual of them in the instructions. Knowing that steel on glass with pressure could crack the glass, I surmised that they were inserts for the tips of the set screws to provide a pressure cushion for the screws. They should at least be pictured in the assembly instructions. I know some people who would have missed them (very small and hard to notice) and who might have cracked the two lower shelves during assembly. I had to insert the pieces into the set screw tips prior to assembly. Other than that, the stand went together well and is quite a handsome piece of furniture when completed. It holds my 55 inch TV well along with my satellite controller box and my DVD and Blu-Ray equipment and my old VCR. I would have given 5 stars if not for the assembly problems.

Overall I am pleased with the TV stand. It looks nice and is sturdy.1. Packaging was good, considering that there are three large pieces of glass included.2. The styrofoam bits can go all over, so I spent a good amount of time being very diligent when removing parts from box. Even so, there were loose bits of styrofoam to deal with.3. For the main assembly of the stand, the instructions were clear, the parts well labeled and it was fast and easy to assemble. I did it on my bed, so as not to scratch the glass.4. There was a small defect on one of the glass panels but it is not visible after assembly.5 The installation of the cable management panel took a long time and is still loose. This is shown in included picture (step 6). The little platic nubs kept falling out. It took a long time with so-so results. At the end, I had to use Scotch tape to secure the cable management panel.5. My 55" Sony XBR-55X850B just barely fit on the stand due to its wide stand legs. There are warnings in the product description to make you aware that this might be an issue with some TVs. From product description:SDC1250 - DimensionsFor TVs with wide feet, PLEASE measure the TV feet width and depth to assure the TV will fit on the stand! A Pedestal Style TV Base is available for sale separately.Assembled Dimensions:Width: 49.21"Depth: 16.54"Height: 19.69"Since the widest part is at the front, the my TV stand had no problems, as it fit OK. However this width tapers 11" back. This information and applicable measurements are not provided. As you can see in my pictures, the rear foot of my TV stand is just at that 11" spot right before it narrows.I tried to turn the TV stand around (back to front) and you can see that it is not much better.Read more

Putting the table together wasn't an issues; fairly simple. However, when the description stated "up to 55 inches", it barely made it. We had to angle the TV such that it was positioned slightly askew in order for the legs on the TV not go over the edge. After all the work we put into getting the table inside, I'm going to keep it.Pro: Looks niceCon: Shorter height than our previous tablePro: Has multiple shelvesCon: Not as sturdy as our previous tableRead the fine print and know that when the description reads "up to", it doesn't mean the table is really wide enough for the upper size TV area needed.

The description says this stand will support 99 pounds.... That seems to be only if the tv's weight is at both ends. I have a 60" Vizio that weighs 70.88 pounds with a CENTRAL PEDESTAL. There is no center support for the top and middle shelves (the cable management column provides no support). After I put the table together and put the TV on it, the top bowed downward a long way and I had to remove the TV because it looked as though the top shelf would snap in two (tempered glass or no) and will have to look for something that's a little sturdier. Unfortunately cannot return because all the packaging material was thrown out in order to make garbage pick-up. Wasted $109.

Black

A black finish on your tv stand is one of the best options for a tv stand. Black establishes an eye-catching relationship between the rest of the living room decor and your tv stand. It also makes the furniture complement each other. The black finish will most likely blend in with the rest of your decor and walls unless you choose a different option. The tv stand itself won’t stand out, but you can use elements around it that do. For example, white flower vases are a great bet. The exact role can be taken on by the area rug or the lighting in the room. Each black tv finish stand has its own set of properties, which allow it to stand out in various ways and to interact with the surrounding space in its path. However, the black finish will easily show dust hence making you clean more. This finish does not take scratches and dents well, therefore expensive to maintain.
