The bed was very easy to put together--instructions were clear and it took less than an hour to assemble alone. I purchased this in Black and it's a faux leather that's simplistic and works well for what I wanted. The only reason I would dock a star is because I bought this as the product specifically mentions no box spring is needed. A box spring is 100% needed, and I now have to purchase a box spring/bunkie board/slats which will hopefully fit in this frame under my mattress. When I had my mattress delivered, they said my mattress would be ruined (as well as my back) if I placed it directly on the slats included, as there are only 4 pieces of wood stretching horizontally across the entire frame. So, while you think you may be saving money, you will need to buy additional materials or a box spring before putting your mattress on this.

This bed was easy to assemble and looks nice. I would suggest a box spring or mattress foundation because there is only 4 slats across so the mattress sinks into the wholes.

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Box Spring Not Required Platform

Platform beds do not require a box spring mattress, as they can support any mattress at all. This makes platform beds highly versatile beds that can be the main bed for a large family home, all the way to being the spare bed in a guest bedroom. The versatility of these beds makes them easy to use, and very easy to work into any bedroom. They can also provide a clean minimalist look, because there is no headboard sticking out and drawing attention. Platform beds are an excellent fit for anyone that wants their bed to be subtle and not draw too much attention. The box-spring-not-required-platform bed is easily customised to look exactly how you want, as there is no headboard dictating the overall style and look of the bed either. The platform bed is recommended for those times when you need a bed to fit into any bedroom setting and can be moved to another room at any time where it will also be a great fit.

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Black is known to amplify small spaces and also set the right mood in your bedroom space. A black colored bed makes your bedroom fell more intimate and special in ways that you could have never imagined before, something that you would never achieve with any of those bright colors. There is nothing as important as setting the right mood in your bedroom especially if you are a couple since it’s the base of your relationship romantically. A black bed adds a touch of intrigue but still blends right into the bedroom décor colors creating a timeless look.

Blue

A Blue bed creates a soothing soft feeling each time you walk into your bedroom. Just like a breath of fresh air it adds a dreamy feeling and a ton of versatility making it one of the best go to bed colors. In fact blue is one of the best color for sleep as it is very calming. One of the best thing you can do is get yourself a blue bed, according to a recent study an individual with a blue bed or bedroom slept for an approximate of 8 hours. This show cases how good the blue color is since even an average person doesn’t even get 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep. As if that is not good enough 60 percent of people who sleep on a blue bed or bedroom are likely to wake up each morning very happy, after all who wouldn’t after such a great sleep.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

Red

Color is one of the easiest way to create a good flow of energy in your home, for example red might not be a very common color in the bedroom, however a red colored bed transforms the bedroom to a place of rejuvenation, peace, and pleasure. A red bed brings about a good flow of energy that balances out your bedroom. Also note that a red bed can very easily bring in an immediate spark into your bedroom space without so much effort. A red bed being a symbol of divine energy provides a large room to explore various creativity levels. A balanced red bedroom will bring about more enjoyment, excitement, joy and even sexual desire, however an imbalance of color red can bring about luck of happiness, since we all know in china red is a color that is associated with happiness and luck, so go ahead and get yourself a red bed.

White

A white bed is definitely a show stopper, it’s plain and simple. Despite people referring to white as lack of other colors, a white bed makes quite a statement. It gives your bedroom space a more open and timeless feel, while allowing your bedroom décor to standout even more clearly. A bed with a pure shade of white energizes your entire space giving it a vibrant new look, giving you the illusion of a more light within your bedroom. What makes a white bed a favorite for many is the fact that white as a color creates a relaxing sleep environment. And as you know choosing the right color is very important, since color is like magic and can influence your state of mind and emotions. If there is one thing you should do right is get yourself a white bed and enjoy every single moment you spend in your bedroom.

Platform

You may be looking for a bed that is timeless and cost-effective and maybe your life quote is "simplicity is beauty," then you can swear by platform beds. A platform bed is a simple bed frame that has a solid foundation capable to hold any type of mattress without the need of a box spring. It also comes with built-in slats to allow airflow and breathability. And since box springs are unnecessary, you can save money if you decide to buy a new mattress.

Though simple, it doesn't mean that this type of bed is boring. Platform beds come from various materials, such wood, metal, and fiberboard. You may even have them upholstered for an added classic touch! Ideal for all ages, they are also available in different sizes: twin, full, queen, and king. Interestingly, platform beds are great for storing extra stuff since many of them come with drawers and headboard shelving, perfect for keeping your bedroom tidy.

Storage Included

When your bedroom space is small storage can be the biggest challenge you will encounter. Your closet could be a solution but not big enough to pack so many clothes. Well, you may want to buy a bigger cabinet, but you don’t want to pack so many dressers and cabinets into your space that it feels clunky and crowded. Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress. Ultimately, your choice will come down to what's most convenient for you.

Leather

Are you looking to improve or upgrade the aesthetic of your bedroom? One great way to do it is through a leather bed specifically designed to meet all your needs. A leather bed can quickly transform the look of your bedroom and make it look more stylish and modern. Over the last decade leather beds have grown in popularity as they bring that luxurious, and contemporary styles into your bedroom. A leather bed also has the tendency to grab the attention of anyone as it acts as the focal point and in the process it enhances the ambience of your bedroom. Cleaning and taking care of a leather bed is very easy, for example when cleaning all you need is a wet cloth. Real leather beds are also very durable, and if your leather bed is made out of real leather you will not need to be concerned about longevity all it needs is proper maintenance and the leather bed will serve you for years.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Minimalist

The minimalist aesthetic has become one of the most popular design styles, and for good reason! A minimalist décor style focuses on simplicity, clean lines, and the use of color as an accent rather than as the main focus of a room. Color palettes within the minimalist style feature muted blues and greens, as well as earth and neutral tones. A minimalist design style utilizes only the bare essentials to furnish a room to create an uncluttered, organized and aesthetically pleasing space. Ideally, a minimalist bedroom consists of a bed, a night table, and a light source. Bedroom furniture, specifically beds, in the minimalist décor style are often platform beds instead of traditional four-poster bed frames or sleigh beds. Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people.
