Legit one of the best things I've ever purchased from Amazon! The bed frame is sturdy solid wood and is gorgeous. Easy to put together. Let it be known that the frame and headboard come in three boxes, so at first I thought there were missing parts, but the remainder of them came in two additional boxes the next day. Very happy with this bad ass bed frame and could see myself using it for a lifetime!

I put this bed together yesterday. It was easy, great instructions and came in perfect condition. The packaging was in good shape. This bed looks better in person, than in the picture. It is well made and goes well with our other furniture. I’m very happy with my purchase and would make it again, if given the choice. I highly recommend Braxton furniture. Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed.

put It together last night and slept on it as it’s currently the only bed in our place (this will be our guest room)... took me 1 hr 15 mins (did it along and was in a hurry). Very easy to assemble. Feels sturdy, everything was in good condition. We love the look. Price was perfect. Would recommend.

This bed is a nice midcentury style copy for one third the price of a real one and arrived on time. I hired a handyman from craigslist for $40 to un- box it, build it and take the boxes to the trash for me. I also got lucky when I purchased it because it was $100 off. Can't do much better then this deal for a nice-looking queen size bed Frame.

I really enjoy this bed frame. I have had it for three years now. Recently on leg had broke and I need a replacement. But I don’t know how to get ahold of anyone to help me get that one leg replaced. Besides that, the bed frame is beautiful and easy to to put together and take a part. I have moved four times in the past three years. Easy to take a part and reassemble.

I got this bed a few years ago and my partner and i built it almost in the dark. I don’t think you can build it alone but it’s not super hard. It looks great!

I bought this in a Queen size and have gotten compliments from visiting friends on it. I searched for a platform bed with a headboard for a very long time and came across this one at Bed Bath and Beyond. Ended up ordering from Amazon bc it was cheaper. I'm satisfied with my purchase but there are definitely aspects I don't like about this bed:Pros: compliments from friends. I really like the color of the wood and the design of the legs is really nice.Cons: The headboard (although comfortable) seems massive and unnecessarily larger than the rest of the frame. As you can see from my photos, the Queen frame is much bigger than my Queen mattress, so there is a gap. If you've got limited space, I wouldn't recommend it as you will likely constantly bang your shins against the frame like I do :(FYI: I paid for the amazon assembly service, so I can't comment on how easy it is to put together.

Questions & Answers

How can I get extra slats? Our bed requires a max of 2 inches of spacing.
Not sure. The slats that came with mine were sufficient. Just make sure it’s nailed down. You can cut some to size from Home Depot

Did this bed frame not come with the headboard and wooden slats in the same box as the frame itself?
My bed came in 2 boxes. Then we called a man who opened it and put it together.

What Weight does the bed support
We put an Ikea foam mattress on the frame, and it’s sturdy and stable with me and my husband on it (~350 lbs combined). I’m sure it would be fine up to 400-450 lbs.

I'm worried about getting this up our smallish turned stairway ... I assume the headboard is the largest of the the frame components ...?
I ordered the full size frame/headboard: the headboard is the largest if you're considering the total surface area, but the side rail boards are actually longer than the headboard, but obviously much more narrow. My headboard is ~62 inches from left to right, and ~25 inches from top to bottom. And it's not overly h… see more

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

Platform

You may be looking for a bed that is timeless and cost-effective and maybe your life quote is "simplicity is beauty," then you can swear by platform beds. A platform bed is a simple bed frame that has a solid foundation capable to hold any type of mattress without the need of a box spring. It also comes with built-in slats to allow airflow and breathability. And since box springs are unnecessary, you can save money if you decide to buy a new mattress.

Though simple, it doesn't mean that this type of bed is boring. Platform beds come from various materials, such wood, metal, and fiberboard. You may even have them upholstered for an added classic touch! Ideal for all ages, they are also available in different sizes: twin, full, queen, and king. Interestingly, platform beds are great for storing extra stuff since many of them come with drawers and headboard shelving, perfect for keeping your bedroom tidy.

Slat

A good bed must always have a strong base. The slat bed design is a type of base made for a bed. They are a series of connected bars that lie across the width of the frame. The designs offer great support for the mattress, hence providing good support to your back when sleeping and allows good ventilation to the mattress. Good ventilation for the mattress keeps them cleaner and more hygienic. The slats are made from strong wood ensuring the durability of your bed. These bases provide good firm support and are a simple and cheaper option. The slatted design comes in two designs to choose from. You can choose from two types of slats - solid slats or sprung slats. They also offer a good leveling of your mattress, allowing it to last longer.

Foam

Foam bed usually compromise of a foam mattress and a foam pillow, which has really soared in popularity over the last two decades. Making some of us to wonder what might be so great about these foam beds? And for sure it turns out to be a lot. One main reason is how a foam bed evenly distributes your weight and pressure over a specific point giving you as the sleeper a pressure relief point. Foam beds are known to last to a period of up to ten years making them very economical and beneficial. With such benefits in mind a foam bed can only be described as hybrid beds mainly due to their unmatched benefits. Plus with the latest foam technology a foam bed can help you keep you warm or cool depending on room temperature.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Fabrics are also soft and comfortable and can even make your bed stand out from the rest of your furnishings.

There are different types of fabric-upholstered bed depending on the textile used and each of them has its distinct advantages and disadvantages. A linen-upholstered bed is breathable, easy to clean, and hypo-allergenic, but is prone to wrinkles and low stain-resistance. A velvet-upholstered bed is good for those with pets and can be dyed in rich colors, but high-maintenance and very expensive. A cotton-upholstered bed is abrasion-resistant and allows you to maintain a cool feeling, but not that stain-resistant and its fibers may weaken when directly exposed to sunlight. A corduroy-upholstered bed is durable, low-maintenance, and inexpensive, but can be heavy. But, whichever type you choose, surely fabric can turn your bed into a comfortable one.

Hardwoods

Hardwood wood varieties refer to the type of tree the wood is taken from; it has nothing to do with how heavy or dense the wood is (contrary to popular belief!). Hardwood woods are sourced from trees that have leaves and lose their leaves in the winter months. Types of hardwood trees include hickory, maple, oak, birch and cherry (among others). Wood from hardwood trees is usually harder and therefore more dense, as these trees tend to grow at a slower rate. Hardwood is ideal for use in indoor furniture crafting, as it is sturdy and durable. Most hardwood varieties are bright and beautiful in their natural tone/shade, but many take well to staining, finishes and paints. The hardwood varieties offer a cozy, warm look and enrich your bedroom style. Hardwood bed frames are a great way to brighten your bedroom and enhance the overall look and feel of your sleep space!

Walnut

Walnut wood bed frames and headboards are an ideal choice for individuals who prefer a traditional style. Walnut wood is extremely strong and durable; it is one of the more versatile wood varieties and is relatively easy to work with in terms of woodworking craftsmanship. The look of walnut furniture is very clean and simple and can easily adapt into a traditional or contemporary décor style. The natural color of walnut wood is a beautiful, natural tone that will enhance the ambience of your bedroom and it will make it feel relaxing and calm. Walnut wood bed frames are a bit pricier than other available wood varieties, but you get what you pay for; walnut wood furniture is some of the longest-lasting, sturdiest bedroom furniture available on the market. Walnut wood bed frames look incredible when paired with neutral toned fabrics and simple textiles, such as an off-white or muted blue color palette.
