The bed looks nice, but the quality of the center supports was crap, I reached out to the company letting them know and seeing if they could help and received no reply.I ended up buying 4x4 post and fabricating my own supports as they are not of a decent quality.I love the look of the bed, but chances are I will not buy from this company again due to no customer support.

I wanted this bed frame to look as nice as the picture but there is a stripe of unstained wood running almost the length and width of one panel of either the headboard or footboard. the wood under and the stain are drastically different colors, it stands out pretty bad. There is a QC sticker on the end. I don't know if that means it should have been rejected or passed QC. Either is ridiculous because it should have never been placed into inventory for shipment. The item is sold and shipped by Amazon and my only option is to refund the purchase price and order again. Then when the new order arrives swap out the inferior piece. WHAT A MAJOR HASSLE. But, it's my only option so that's what I'll have to do.As for the color, parts seem to be a mahogany color and others are espresso. It doesn't look like the same color of stain was used on all of the parts.I would not recommend this to anyone.

Important update at bottom of reviwDon't purchase this expecting a solid wood masterpiece. There's a spectrum that bedframes in this price range tend to fall on. On one end you have "quality of build" and on the other you have "visual presentation". This happens to fall smack dab in the middleThe paint will knick fairly easily, and the wood is almost exclusively hollow core constructions. That being said, the four posts are sturdy and the connections between pieces are well designed (if not a bit finnicky to align). The tops of the posts dont stay put with the provided wood glue, or maybe I'm just not understanding how to make that small of an amount work for such a large surface area. I just bought some wood glue from Lowes, worked just fine. You more than likely will need to install extra supports for the slats, as they're made out of very bendy composite wood. I recommend these, though they fall just short of covering the full stretch of the slats: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HSF0T8W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1^install these by screwing them directly into the underside of the slats starting at the headboard end, and remember that unless you install other supports at the footboard you will have a noticeable lack of support there.Do not purchase this frame if you are A. a heavier person/purchasing for two *and* B. not willing to purchase extra supports. For reference: I weigh roughly 270, and share my bed with a 50lb dog. I slept on this with my moderately thick mattress before installing extra support and felt the slat supports bow under me. After installing the above linked supports and popping two 4x4's in at the footboard end I can flop onto my bed without worrying. If you wanna act like this bed isn't worth the cost I'd challenge you to find literally anything in this price point that isn't made out of particle board or metal. Hollow core or not, it's still real wood and I'm a happy customerUpdate: the rails that support the slats just up and disintegrated. I'm not exaggerating either, I shifted in bed and seemingly out of nowhere the whole right side slumped. looked under the bed and the wood has separated from itself and split irreparably, with the slats floating on the one side. Called cust support and got told i was SOL because I purchased the bed through Flex Shopper? There was basically zero effort to keep my business, 10/10 will be using the refuse from this trash heap of a bed as bonfire tinder.Read more

King

A king size bed is the largest standard bed that you will find in the market plus it measures 76 inches by 80 inches, making it a great and popular choice among couple. Single sleepers with the proper finances also enjoy the luxury and comfort of having a huge bed all to themselves. The King Size bed also comes in different variations which are the California size bed that’s 4 inches longer than a normal king size bed and 4 inches narrower, another variation is the California king size bed, the ideal choice if you are sharing your bed with someone who is more than 6 feet tall. If you are couple looking for a bed with extra comfort and space for the both of you I would highly recommend the King size bed as it’s a combination of unmatched comfort and luxury.

Slat

A good bed must always have a strong base. The slat bed design is a type of base made for a bed. They are a series of connected bars that lie across the width of the frame. The designs offer great support for the mattress, hence providing good support to your back when sleeping and allows good ventilation to the mattress. Good ventilation for the mattress keeps them cleaner and more hygienic. The slats are made from strong wood ensuring the durability of your bed. These bases provide good firm support and are a simple and cheaper option. The slatted design comes in two designs to choose from. You can choose from two types of slats - solid slats or sprung slats. They also offer a good leveling of your mattress, allowing it to last longer.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Wood

A wooden bed is a very popular choice especially when you are out buying a bed for your kids as they come with a number of advantages. Such as: wooden beds are known to be long lasting. At one point in life most of us have slept in a wooden bed, plus wooden beds can be traced back in history to our Tudor ancestors. If you opt to get you kid a bed of his or her own a wooden bed is always the best choice, since they are much easier to clean and maintain since its common knowledge how messy a child’s bedroom become. What makes a wooden bed the perfect choice for your child’s bedroom is its ability to withstand everything your child throws at it. This is because wooden beds are known to be sturdy and robust no matter the environment they are in.

Cherry

Cherry wood is an elegant, sophisticated and traditional choice when it comes to bedroom furniture, especially bed frames and headboards. The rich color of a cherry wood finish adds a cozy ambience to your bedroom and promotes restful relaxation. Not only is the cherry wood finish a traditional selection and very aesthetically pleasing, it is extremely strong and durable. The rich color of cherry wood is an ideal choice for larger bedrooms, as the darker color can create a large focal point within the room. Cherry wood bedroom furniture is complemented well with warm room colors, such as a rich red, a soft yellow, or a muted orange or terra cotta palette. Alternatively, if you have a smaller room, cherry wood can still look gorgeous against soft blues or grays. Cherry wood enhances the coziness and warmth of your bedroom and is a perfect way to increase the beauty of your sleep space.

Hardwoods

Hardwood wood varieties refer to the type of tree the wood is taken from; it has nothing to do with how heavy or dense the wood is (contrary to popular belief!). Hardwood woods are sourced from trees that have leaves and lose their leaves in the winter months. Types of hardwood trees include hickory, maple, oak, birch and cherry (among others). Wood from hardwood trees is usually harder and therefore more dense, as these trees tend to grow at a slower rate. Hardwood is ideal for use in indoor furniture crafting, as it is sturdy and durable. Most hardwood varieties are bright and beautiful in their natural tone/shade, but many take well to staining, finishes and paints. The hardwood varieties offer a cozy, warm look and enrich your bedroom style. Hardwood bed frames are a great way to brighten your bedroom and enhance the overall look and feel of your sleep space!
