Bought this bed frame for my Tweenager when his original began to disintegrate. It looked perfect. A gender neutral style yet study for a wild sleeper. The shipment arrived timely. I put the contraption together all by myself. The instructions were very easy to follow. It says a box spring is not needed, and I believe it. The slats add a great deal of support! I already had a box spring, so still used it with my son's mattress. He was actually super stoked about the slightly-higher-than-normal bed. He's happy. The bed is sturdy and sleek, so I'm happy. Great purchase!

I bought this bed frame for my parents and I built it myself in roughly 30minutes. It was perfect, it goes with anything. And my parents LOVE it. Not creaky at all either.

Was concerned that the slats would bang and rattle, as it's metal on metal, but once we figured out how it went together it's extremely sturdy. Removed one star because one of the metal legs didn't fit and needed to be malleted. But hitting it with a hammer worked, and the rest of the assembly went fine. Clear instructions, took 2-3 hours all told.Update a year later; still looks great, super solid, no complaints! Developed squeaks, but retightening the screws fixed it right up.

Very simple but nice bed frame. The clips at the end are a bit hard to put in but other than that, it was pretty easy to build. I like that it has no footboard so if you are very tall you won’t have to worry about not fitting on the bed.

It looks nice, we had a couple of issues putting it together, which we didn’t think that we would since it’s just a bed frame, but in the end we got it together and it’s nice for a boys room. The slats that hold the mattress up are also kind of noisy so when you move around on the bed you can hear it.

Bed was easy to assemble. We’ve had it up for a week and it seems sturdy enough. We put a traditional box spring on it as well to give a little more lift. So far no complaints, it seems to be a reliable bed frame for the price.

Makes some noise when you move around in bed but very easy to assemble. There were some missing bolts, but a quick run to the hardware store fixed that. We love the look and it’s great for the cost.

Definitely helpful to have two people to put together. Overall looks nice- bronze color is dark brown, rather than metallic looking. Had some trouble placing the metal support rods.

Nice looking bed frame. The tacks that hold the bars across the middle of the bed in are not the best fitting and several had already popped out after first night.

This was a good bed for our son. The assembly wasn’t terribly difficult, except for the slats. They aren’t cut enough to slide in cleanly.

Nice clean design, very sturdy. Some of the clips couldn't enter the holes in setting the foundation, that's the only reason I gave 4 stars.

The frame seems sturdy and should hold up. It does take some time to put together by yourself, but the instructions are clear and the parts well labeled. I would recommend this frame if you're on a budget and need something sturdy.

The bed was not hard to put together but was very annoying, there are small plastic pieces you are supposed to put on both sides of the slats that hold the mattress up. These were very hard to shove into the spaces and my fingers were killing me when I finished. Since my three year old has been sleeping on it several of those plastic pieces have just fallin out. If my little guy jumps on it or is kicking his legs on the the metal bangs against itself making a lot of noise. It’s metal on metal. It also has a metal leg in the middle on either side and we have been stubbing our toes on that piece. You do not need a box spring.

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Black is known to amplify small spaces and also set the right mood in your bedroom space. A black colored bed makes your bedroom fell more intimate and special in ways that you could have never imagined before, something that you would never achieve with any of those bright colors. There is nothing as important as setting the right mood in your bedroom especially if you are a couple since it’s the base of your relationship romantically. A black bed adds a touch of intrigue but still blends right into the bedroom décor colors creating a timeless look.

Copper

Of late warm metallic colors have grown in popularity, when it comes to the bedroom’s interior décor. Copper, Bronze, and Gold are some of the most popular warm metallic colors. In fact warmer metallic colors is the new modern way to shine your bedroom. Taking a closer look at Copper, a copper colored bed will lighten up your mood and warm up the soul of your bedroom on those cold winter nights. A copper bed will blend seamlessly with different natural tones that you might opt to use for your bedroom walls or other bedroom furniture. Copper is known to compliment the beauty of cooler tones such as blue, silver, and brilliant jewel tones. Plus it brings a balance when paired with white and neutral surfaces such as green tones. A copper bed will help you create the perfect attitude for your bedroom.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

Platform

You may be looking for a bed that is timeless and cost-effective and maybe your life quote is "simplicity is beauty," then you can swear by platform beds. A platform bed is a simple bed frame that has a solid foundation capable to hold any type of mattress without the need of a box spring. It also comes with built-in slats to allow airflow and breathability. And since box springs are unnecessary, you can save money if you decide to buy a new mattress.

Though simple, it doesn't mean that this type of bed is boring. Platform beds come from various materials, such wood, metal, and fiberboard. You may even have them upholstered for an added classic touch! Ideal for all ages, they are also available in different sizes: twin, full, queen, and king. Interestingly, platform beds are great for storing extra stuff since many of them come with drawers and headboard shelving, perfect for keeping your bedroom tidy.

Storage Included

When your bedroom space is small storage can be the biggest challenge you will encounter. Your closet could be a solution but not big enough to pack so many clothes. Well, you may want to buy a bigger cabinet, but you don’t want to pack so many dressers and cabinets into your space that it feels clunky and crowded. Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress. Ultimately, your choice will come down to what's most convenient for you.

Metal

One of the most asked question when it comes metallic beds is, are they safe for younger children? And the answer is always, yes they are. One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. Metal beds are also highly portable since they are lighter than other types of bed, and in case you are the kind of person who love rearranging their bedroom setup you will definitely love the metal bed.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Bed Frames

Bed frames also known as bed steads are terms used to describe the support your mattress rests upon. It’s that part of your bed that holds up your mattress from the floor. A bed frame is one of the most overlooked part of a bed when making a bed purchase as most people tend to focus on the mattress alone, however, it’s good to note that bedframes play a crucial role when it comes to the comfort of your bed. The right bed frame provides you with enough comfort and support despite the type of mattress you are sleeping on, so if you have a bed that’s squeaking, sagging, or unstable the problem is usually your bed frame. As we all know a good night sleep starts with a solid foundation, a bedframe will impact the quality of sleep you get, a bed frame will even cause back pains and aches.

Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.
