Good bed! Sturdy. I gave it a 4/5 for 2 reasons. 1) the instructions were really tough to figure out. You need to stretch out the slats with the black string on the bottom (closest to the floor). 2) the headboard isn't as soft/cushiony as I would have liked. It's a functional bed but its not "luxurious" by any means.

Pretty and easy to put together, but need a drill with screwdriver attachment, not just a screwdriver like instructions said. Would definitely not use a box spring for this one since most of the headboard cannot be seen with both a tall mattress AND a box spring.

I ordered the bed and and picked up the box at my local Home Depot with no problems. After assembly, the bed looks great and is very sturdy. The issues I had during assembly were: a) The assembly instructions were missing. I assembled the bed using intuition and pictures of the bed on the Home Deport website.b) Some holes in the bed support slats were not drilled out. So I had to drill them out myself.Other than that, I am happy with the product and the price was right.

The bed is really is really beautiful. The set of wooden slats has missing holes in 2 slats after the first slat. Thought it was weird but overall we look forward to sleeping in it tonight. Easy to assemble, took about an hour.

Why is this bed frame 4 inch's wider then a queen bed is?
My queen mattress fit perfectly.

Why is this bed frame 4 inch's wider then a queen bed is?
The frame does leave some room on the sides but should be fitting snug when all bedding (sheets, comforter, etc.) is fitted on the mattress. Also, we notice the side rails have a tendency to bow out when the slats are left loosely resting on the side cleats. We recommend screwing the slats into the side cleats for best assembly results.
