We selected this bed frame to use with an upholstered headboard. I was worried the screw holes might not align properly but it worked out well! We are happy with this purchase! Pros: Well made, arrived quickly

I like this frame, however it does not fit the Tufted Shantung Arch Upholstered Headboard that I purchased (the headboard and frame is Queen size). The frame is wider than the legs of the headboard so once you have one side attached to the bed frame the other side is not wide enough to be securely screwed in (My son and I tried every way to get the headboard to screw in securely and nothing was working). Since my bed is against a wall I kept it especially since I did not want to go through the hassle of sending anything back. I'm guessing that the frame can only fit certain headboards so just be mindful if you purchase this bed frame.Pros: easy to assemble, sturdy should last a long time

I thought we were going to have to send this back. When putting together, the bottom end just didn't fit. We ended up having to use a hammer to hammer the piece together. God help us when we have to take it apart some day

Unfortunately, when we went to put this together, it only worked as a king and a full. We could not get it fit a queen, which is what my new bed was. And we tried EVERYTHING. We ended up just duct taping it together on one side because it was too much of a hassle to send back, and the bed was delivered and being installed when the problem was realized. DO NOT BUY THIS FRAME FOR A QUEEN BED!That said, the duct tape is working so the frame is being used. No issues from that standpoint.

This bed frame was a real pain to put together and then to attach to a headboard. It came apart after we got the mattress on, and it was a real chore to move the mattress and get the frame back together. I wish we had bought a more substantial frame.

California King

A California King Size bed is usually 72 inches wide and 84 inches long. At 7 feet tall the California King Bed is ideal for most of the tall sleepers, in certain scenarios a California King Size bed can also be referred to as a Western King mattress that is specifically designed to accommodate anyone who is more than 6 feet tall as it offers more leg room for tall people. Aside from the slight difference in length and width by 4 inches a California King Sized bed has a lot in common to a regular King Sized bed such as they both provide unmatched comfort and room for couple, and also they are in the same price range. In case you are 6 feet tall you will definitely find the California Size bed more comfortable than any other standard bed mainly due to the extra legroom, plus I would definitely recommend you to get yourself a California King Size bed.

Full / Double

A Full / Double bed is a bed meant for couples to share, however with the emergence of so many size options full-double beds are now mainly meant for single sleepers. Back in the 1940s a couple would perfectly fit and enjoy a full double bed, in fact you might have seen one in those 90s movies a classic full-double bed with a nightstand next to it and an old black and white TV on the wall. In modern day, full-double beds are still very popular, mainly among the younger generation who are not married yet and desire a little bit of comfort. Full-double beds fell out of favor of many couple with the introduction of king and queen size beds in to the markets. But despite that a full-double bed is still an excellent choice for single adults with limited space but still desire a bigger bed.

King

A king size bed is the largest standard bed that you will find in the market plus it measures 76 inches by 80 inches, making it a great and popular choice among couple. Single sleepers with the proper finances also enjoy the luxury and comfort of having a huge bed all to themselves. The King Size bed also comes in different variations which are the California size bed that’s 4 inches longer than a normal king size bed and 4 inches narrower, another variation is the California king size bed, the ideal choice if you are sharing your bed with someone who is more than 6 feet tall. If you are couple looking for a bed with extra comfort and space for the both of you I would highly recommend the King size bed as it’s a combination of unmatched comfort and luxury.

These variations include an Olympic queen sized bed which has 6 extra inches on its width and a California queen which has 4 extra inches in length. A queen size bed will fit perfectly well in large bedrooms and smaller bedrooms.

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Brown

Even though brown is not the most obvious color to use when decorating your bedroom. A Brown bed’s warmth nook makes it worth incorporating in to your bedroom. And the fact that you would never expect to see a brown bed or bedroom décor makes it perfect for anyone who loves experimenting on colors and doesn’t like using playful pastels and bright neon’s. To avoid it from being swallowed into the dark bedroom interior, it’s recommended to be used in a bedroom with bright interior colors that bring about more lighting, which is a rich tone up especially to the brown bed and in the process creating another element intrigue. A brown bed is the only way to tone down a bright bedroom interior without having to repaint the walls.

Easy Storage

This bed comes with an easy-storage compartment, which makes it perfect for anyone that needs a little extra space to store things away. Need a safe space for your laptop? Put it in the easy-storage compartment. What about socks or underwear? Put them in the easy-storage compartment. You can use the easy-storage area to store anything you need to inside it. One suggestion might be to use it to store away phone chargers, or laptop chargers or other cables to keep the room nice and tidy without worrying about losing these types of items. The easy-storage area is fantastic for anyone that could use a little extra space to store their valuable belongings into. Make things a little bit easier on yourself, and take advantage of the easy-storage this bed has on offer.

Heavy Duty Squeak Resistant

We all look for beds that don’t squeak, for better, noise free peaceful slumber at night. This includes everyone else in the family that sleeps under same roof. Kids move around a lot while they sleep or doing some other activities, so as parents being able to sleep without hearing the creak every time they move around the bed. Beds that don’t squeak are made from solid wood materials. These types of materials are stronger, well-built and less inclined to produce small noises. The reason behind the squeaky bed is that the frame is loose so the side rails and headboard are rubbing against each other.

Solid wood frames are made from the materials like mahogany, oak, rubber wood, teak and bamboo. Solid wood platform beds do not squeak as well as it is good for your back. The bed frame by lucid features is a sturdy wood construction which helps get rid of creaking noise.

Metal

One of the most asked question when it comes metallic beds is, are they safe for younger children? And the answer is always, yes they are. One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. Metal beds are also highly portable since they are lighter than other types of bed, and in case you are the kind of person who love rearranging their bedroom setup you will definitely love the metal bed.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Bed Frames

Bed frames also known as bed steads are terms used to describe the support your mattress rests upon. It’s that part of your bed that holds up your mattress from the floor. A bed frame is one of the most overlooked part of a bed when making a bed purchase as most people tend to focus on the mattress alone, however, it’s good to note that bedframes play a crucial role when it comes to the comfort of your bed. The right bed frame provides you with enough comfort and support despite the type of mattress you are sleeping on, so if you have a bed that’s squeaking, sagging, or unstable the problem is usually your bed frame. As we all know a good night sleep starts with a solid foundation, a bedframe will impact the quality of sleep you get, a bed frame will even cause back pains and aches.

Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.
