This worked out very well. We have a temperpedic mattress and box spring that are pretty heavy together but this is a sturdy bed frame and easy to out together. It has a set of casters to help move it and they can be locked in place. This can be attached to a headboard but is not for a footboard.

The bed frame claims to be heavy duty but is lighter metal than the one I replaced. The casters rattle whenever the bed is jostled. It is lower which is why I purchased it however the quality of the rolling casters is simply not there. I expect I will need to replace them shortly. The installation illustrations are wrong.
