This twin XL over queen bunk condo was the perfect solution to efficiently increase sleeping capacity at my beach condo. I use it with a stand alone twin bed, and these beds fit nicely in my guestroom, which is not overly spacious. The construction quality seems sturdy, and it has held up nearly a year at my heavily rented condo with no issues. No complaints from my guests, only compliments.

Our kids always wanted a bunk bed because it’s fun to climb, sit & read books and sleep sometimes but they mostly sleep together on a queen size bed so this twin over queen bunk bed is the best thing ever happened to us. So this saved us space while also fulfilling their dream! We really like the solid construction of frames, ladder etc., I was able put this together with two boys (7&10) in a couple of hours or so while having fun doing the project together. Power driver isn’t mandatory but certainly makes things faster as you have drive tons of screws. Instructions are simple as well. Well packaged and delivered promptly. It’s been a couple of weeks and no complaints yet, so overall a great choice if you need that twin over queen!

Great shipping time and excellent packaging. My husband and I laid out the pieces and read the directions entirely before starting. Not all instructions were entirely clear (like Ikea's) about which direction to put some bolts in but if you think about it before assembly you wont need to redo. We bought a white set which does show marks but this is typical with how furniture finishes are these days. We needed a male to help my husband lift the twin into place. I think the product is well engineered and sturdy. I would have given it a 5 stars if there were a way to make the top bunk rail partially removable or 3/4 of the way across. Bunks are difficult to make up in general. (This may be due to a safety law but there must be a way to engineer it better.)

Some of the holes were filled with wood filler and had to be drilled to assemble. Some of the threaded in nuts were just completely absent that were needed for the top rail attachments. Also have to buy a bunkie board for the top mattress.

It’s a very popular bed as it ideal for various kind of lifestyle, it can suit a wide range of sleepers such as single sleepers looking for a luxurious bed or couple who are shopping on a budget. A queen size bed can fit in most bedrooms making it ideal for couples who want to share a bed plus also its affordability. The Queen Size bed has different variations in case you need a size larger than a normal queen bed but smaller than a king sized bed. These variations include an Olympic queen sized bed which has 6 extra inches on its width and a California queen which has 4 extra inches in length. A queen size bed will fit perfectly well in large bedrooms and smaller bedrooms.

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Twin XL

A twin xl bed is a 38 inches wide by 80 inches long bed that is usually best suited for single sleepers who are more than 6 feet tall, mainly growing children or teens who are likely to exceed 6 feet eventually. There are many benefits that are usually associated with having a twin-xl bed such as flexibility and versatility. Twin-xl bed offers a sleeper with more room for flexibility. A twin-xl bed is also ideal for growing children who have outgrown their baby cribs as it will be a while before they outgrow a twin-xl bed. It can also be used by a single adult sleeper especially if you are looking to save on space, as long as you are not that tall. A twin-xl bed has its own economic benefit especially if you are trying to save some money when furnishing your kids room, as it is usually not such a big investment.

Brown

Even though brown is not the most obvious color to use when decorating your bedroom. A Brown bed’s warmth nook makes it worth incorporating in to your bedroom. And the fact that you would never expect to see a brown bed or bedroom décor makes it perfect for anyone who loves experimenting on colors and doesn’t like using playful pastels and bright neon’s. To avoid it from being swallowed into the dark bedroom interior, it’s recommended to be used in a bedroom with bright interior colors that bring about more lighting, which is a rich tone up especially to the brown bed and in the process creating another element intrigue. A brown bed is the only way to tone down a bright bedroom interior without having to repaint the walls.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

White

A white bed is definitely a show stopper, it’s plain and simple. Despite people referring to white as lack of other colors, a white bed makes quite a statement. It gives your bedroom space a more open and timeless feel, while allowing your bedroom décor to standout even more clearly. A bed with a pure shade of white energizes your entire space giving it a vibrant new look, giving you the illusion of a more light within your bedroom. What makes a white bed a favorite for many is the fact that white as a color creates a relaxing sleep environment. And as you know choosing the right color is very important, since color is like magic and can influence your state of mind and emotions. If there is one thing you should do right is get yourself a white bed and enjoy every single moment you spend in your bedroom.

Kids

The home is the training ground for children. It's where they learn and cultivate their values and character. So as a parent or a guardian, you play a big role in who they will become. Allow them to be themselves, to explore what they like, and to play with their imagination. Actually, you can start with their bedroom. How? Ask them what wall color they like. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! It can be a great bonding time for you and your kids.

A kid's bed can also be space-saving with its built-in drawers, which can be a way to tidy up their toys and books. Beds with bedside table, where your child(ren) can study and play with papers and crayons, are also available in the market. Of course, kids love to play. Make bedtime fun with tent beds, beds with slide, and house-shaped kids' beds! Surely, your youngster will enjoy both his waking and sleeping hours.

Slat

A good bed must always have a strong base. The slat bed design is a type of base made for a bed. They are a series of connected bars that lie across the width of the frame. The designs offer great support for the mattress, hence providing good support to your back when sleeping and allows good ventilation to the mattress. Good ventilation for the mattress keeps them cleaner and more hygienic. The slats are made from strong wood ensuring the durability of your bed. These bases provide good firm support and are a simple and cheaper option. The slatted design comes in two designs to choose from. You can choose from two types of slats - solid slats or sprung slats. They also offer a good leveling of your mattress, allowing it to last longer.

Metal

One of the most asked question when it comes metallic beds is, are they safe for younger children? And the answer is always, yes they are. One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. Metal beds are also highly portable since they are lighter than other types of bed, and in case you are the kind of person who love rearranging their bedroom setup you will definitely love the metal bed.
