This bunk bed worked out great for our boys. Much safer to have the stairs versus a ladder. Installation was pretty straight forward, but make sure you pay attention to both end pieces on the bottom bunk. If you install them wrong and on the opposite side, the stair connector and top bunk opening do not line up and you’ll be forced to add extra time to unscrew and swap mid-install. Other than that, this product is great!

Excellent quality and I found it fairly easy to assembly. My kids are obsessed! It’s BIG so make sure to measure the room first.

We LOVE the way the bed turned out! The directions could have been a little better with their descriptions on the placement of when it matters which side needs to be facing inwards vs outwards. However, we eventually figure it out. We also added additional wood slates under both beds for more support.

It was a solid bed. it took two of us about an hour or two to finish putting it together, but we liked it. I would suggest adding some boards to the slats under the mattress. I just didn't trust them for a kids room knowing the shenanigans kids pull.

Lost a star for instructions. As other have mentioned they are terrible. What's worse is that they were not included in my delivery so I had to call the company and they emailed them to me. Eventually. Other product is nice.

Shipping was extremely fast. Putting this together didn’t take too long. The instructions could’ve been a little more detailed but it wasn’t hard to follow. Overall the bed is very nice and looks awesome in my sons room. I would definitely recommend.

Directions on assembly are not good. Some pieces were chipped or wood slivers came off not from assembling but prior. It would be nice if touch up paint was included

Instructions are terrible, came in 3 different boxes w/ twin and full parts mixed. A lot of peices weren't labeled. The full headboard had holes at the bottom, not the top. Its frustrating.

I had to make several modifications during assembly. Including widening the slot in the top cap on the headboard. Not a big deal because I had the tools, so it was still worth the cheaper price for me. I also got extra slats because I felt what it came with wasn’t enough. With double the slats, my kids have foam mattresses and I can climb in bed with them and not worry.

i absolutely love it, the material, the set up, really a very beautiful bed. As soon as the mattress was laid on the bottom though, the slats did not hold and snapped the wood, so I'm pretty disappointed not to mention my son is bummed because he was stoked!

Well.....the end product is good. The directions.....OMG. They are horrible. The pictures dont match up to tell yoh which directions the pieces go. They are really bad directions, difficult to follow. Had to take apart and switch things around several times. I would recommrnd hiring someone to put it together for sure. Horrible experience.

I think it may a good bed. I wouldn't know because I did not receive any of 32 cross dowel nuts. I was so impressed when opening the boxes because every piece was numbered. It made the process look so simplified until I printed the directions I finally found on this website. Ha, well, not so simple. Every single part in the instruction manual is alphabetical. The bigger problem is they were not in any order comparison to the numbers on the actual pieces in front of me. Preventing me from even starting the project that is sitting on my kids bedroom floor. I also did not receive an instruction/assembly manual. I found one on this website after searching. And to make it worse, I don't know how to get a hold of the manufacturer because home depot near me does not carry the cross dowel nuts it requires. I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE THIS A HIGHER RATING WHEN I ACTUALLY GET TO SET IT UP

Does the bed separate into two beds
It took two days to figure out the assembly. The directions were not good. The bed have included touch up paint since silvers of wood were off when I unpacked the wood pieces. It can be set up as two beds but the twin top would no have two full sides one side is shorter where the bunk entrance is.

what is weight capacity?
it says 150lb top bunk but I doubt that will hold up to 150lbs, this bunk bed look very cute but not sturdy at all. It's just about an year but the stair case already broken with minimal use, I could not contact the vendor as well.

what is weight capacity?
I’d say 100 or so on top and maybe 150 on the bottom. I ended up adding my own additional foot supports and 2x2 cross members on the bottom to strengthen it up and I’m 250 and can lay on the bottom now without issue.

Full / Double

A Full / Double bed is a bed meant for couples to share, however with the emergence of so many size options full-double beds are now mainly meant for single sleepers. Back in the 1940s a couple would perfectly fit and enjoy a full double bed, in fact you might have seen one in those 90s movies a classic full-double bed with a nightstand next to it and an old black and white TV on the wall. In modern day, full-double beds are still very popular, mainly among the younger generation who are not married yet and desire a little bit of comfort. Full-double beds fell out of favor of many couple with the introduction of king and queen size beds in to the markets. But despite that a full-double bed is still an excellent choice for single adults with limited space but still desire a bigger bed.

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

White

A white bed is definitely a show stopper, it’s plain and simple. Despite people referring to white as lack of other colors, a white bed makes quite a statement. It gives your bedroom space a more open and timeless feel, while allowing your bedroom décor to standout even more clearly. A bed with a pure shade of white energizes your entire space giving it a vibrant new look, giving you the illusion of a more light within your bedroom. What makes a white bed a favorite for many is the fact that white as a color creates a relaxing sleep environment. And as you know choosing the right color is very important, since color is like magic and can influence your state of mind and emotions. If there is one thing you should do right is get yourself a white bed and enjoy every single moment you spend in your bedroom.

Bunk Loft

Sometimes, bunk beds and loft beds are often being used interchangeably. Don't fall for it. These two bed types have a difference. Yes, you may notice that they both have a ladder. However, a bunk bed has at least two beds stacked on top of each other and a loft bed, though a double-level bed as well, is only a single bed. Bunk beds are commonly seen in hostels, military camps, and dormitories. In addition, some of this kind come with a trundle or pull-out bed that can accommodate one more person.

On the other hand, loft beds allow you to use the space beneath your bed as a study or work area or as a closet. If the time will come when you decide that you don't need a bunk bed anymore, don't worry, you can convert it to a loft bed. Simply and carefully remove the bottom bunk. Depending on your needs, both bunk and loft beds are space-saving.

Kids

The home is the training ground for children. It's where they learn and cultivate their values and character. So as a parent or a guardian, you play a big role in who they will become. Allow them to be themselves, to explore what they like, and to play with their imagination. Actually, you can start with their bedroom. How? Ask them what wall color they like. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! It can be a great bonding time for you and your kids.

A kid's bed can also be space-saving with its built-in drawers, which can be a way to tidy up their toys and books. Beds with bedside table, where your child(ren) can study and play with papers and crayons, are also available in the market. Of course, kids love to play. Make bedtime fun with tent beds, beds with slide, and house-shaped kids' beds! Surely, your youngster will enjoy both his waking and sleeping hours.

Slat

A good bed must always have a strong base. The slat bed design is a type of base made for a bed. They are a series of connected bars that lie across the width of the frame. The designs offer great support for the mattress, hence providing good support to your back when sleeping and allows good ventilation to the mattress. Good ventilation for the mattress keeps them cleaner and more hygienic. The slats are made from strong wood ensuring the durability of your bed. These bases provide good firm support and are a simple and cheaper option. The slatted design comes in two designs to choose from. You can choose from two types of slats - solid slats or sprung slats. They also offer a good leveling of your mattress, allowing it to last longer.

Storage Included

When your bedroom space is small storage can be the biggest challenge you will encounter. Your closet could be a solution but not big enough to pack so many clothes. Well, you may want to buy a bigger cabinet, but you don’t want to pack so many dressers and cabinets into your space that it feels clunky and crowded. Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress. Ultimately, your choice will come down to what's most convenient for you.

Premium Materials

For the highest quality bed, you're going to want premium-material. Premium-material beds are the most stylish choice of all, and also the highest quality. The premium-material bed is for someone that wants the best of everything, with no sacrifices made on quality. Whether it's for a large family home, or for an inner-city apartment with a gorgeous view of the city - the premium-material bed will not disappoint, and will stand out as the star feature of any bedroom. If you want the peace of mind that comes with knowing your bed is made of the most premium materials, then this is the style of bed for you. Sleep easy knowing that you’ve made the highest quality choice when it comes to your bed. Premium-material beds look fantastic, have a stunning appearance and will last for a very long time.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Solid Wood

When you're after a classy, reliable and natural look for your bed - you need the solid-wood style. This style of bed is nostalgic and will be a great match for any bedroom setting. You can not go wrong with a solid-wood bed. Whether it's fitting into an elegant and inspiring bedroom that's complete with scented candles, or into a main bedroom that has a focus on simplicity and minimalism - the solid-wood style bed will be the perfect choice for everybody. With their familiar appearance, they will also feel comforting to any guests that are to sleep on them. Solid-wood frames are a nice, neutral choice - they don’t have a strong and overbearing appearance, yet they still manage to attract the eye in a subtle, comforting way. If you’re after a style of bed that can fit into every setting, yet never steal the attention away from other important features in the room - then the solid-wood bed is what you need.

Wood

A wooden bed is a very popular choice especially when you are out buying a bed for your kids as they come with a number of advantages. Such as: wooden beds are known to be long lasting. At one point in life most of us have slept in a wooden bed, plus wooden beds can be traced back in history to our Tudor ancestors. If you opt to get you kid a bed of his or her own a wooden bed is always the best choice, since they are much easier to clean and maintain since its common knowledge how messy a child’s bedroom become. What makes a wooden bed the perfect choice for your child’s bedroom is its ability to withstand everything your child throws at it. This is because wooden beds are known to be sturdy and robust no matter the environment they are in.

Classic

Everyone wishes for a bedroom that looks like those found in the glossy pages of a home décor magazine, but due to budget constrains many people are not to achieve such a look. If you didn’t know it’s still possible to give your bedroom that expensive look and feel at a low budget which is achieved using the classic style. A classic styled bedroom is all about the details. However one thing you should note is that your bedroom will never look or feel classic as long as it’s dirty or filled with clutter no matter how much you spend decorating the bedroom. In order to incorporate that classic style into your bedroom you should ensure that your bedroom has the needed amount of space as we all know any luxurious looking bedroom should have that feeling of more floor space.

Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.

Pine

Do you love a rustic, classic bedroom style? A pine wood bed frame should be at the top of your shopping list! Pine wood is a softwood variety, meaning it is well-suited for use in both indoor and outdoor furniture because of its durability. Pine is a shock-resistant wood that is strong and long-lasting and is well-suited for crafting ornate and intricate details; this only adds more beauty to your home! Pine wood is lighter in color with an almost creamy white appearance; it is beautiful in both its natural state or finished with a stain. Pine wood is also lighter in weight than some other wood varieties, making assembly of bed frames relatively simple and quick. Pine wood bed frames are an ideal wood to stain, which gives you the opportunity to change or enhance your style as your preferences change. It’s a perfect choice whether you want to achieve a rustic, warm bedroom environment, or a more modern, contemporary sleep space.

Softwoods

Softwood wood varieties are wood types that are sourced from cone bearing trees (evergreens with needles), such as spruce, pine, and fir. Softwood wood varieties are well-known for their superb ability to resist decay and/or rot, making them an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor use; they are long-lasting and very durable. Softwood wood varieties are also versatile and are the top choice for designing and crafting furniture with ornate, distinct details. Softwoods are more vulnerable to dings or dents; however, they are still very sturdy and dependable furniture pieces. Due to the wood type’s versatility, softwood bed frames are ideal for people who love an ornate and detailed décor style. Softwood wood types most often have a neutral, earthy color and pair well with bright color palettes to create a gorgeous contrast and give your bedroom a fresh new look!
