I have purchased the Sudbury dining table along with a set of 6 chairs. The furniture was packaged carefully and arrived in good condition (only 2 small pieces fell off, but they can be easily re-glued). The look and detail of the carving is amazing, and this dining set is a pure delight to any medieval furniture lover. The actual color is darker than pictured on the website, and matches beautifully with the oak hardwood floor. The only con of this set is the manufacturing quality - for man-made furniture there are many small imperfections - cracks in the wood, uneven cuts etc. Also it would be better to have this set made out of more durable and hardy wood, e.g oak instead of pine (which is very soft, so you have to be extremely careful not to scratch or ding it). But it does transform you dining room into your own little medieval haven.

My fiancé just set up my table and chairs last night.Beautiful and very eye catching but it does not come withoutIt's faults. The pre-drilled holes for the legs did not match up so he had to drill newnew holes and use different screws. You have to be extremely careful with the wood because it's a very softwood and you can't write on a piece of paper on the table because it will gouge into the wood. This table should be about five hundred dollars less, but it is beautiful to look at. The chairs are very well sturdy and well made. Worth their money.

This table is beautiful, but without the matching Sudbury chairs has little to set it apart from much less expensive (and harder) options. The chairs (ordered at the same time as the table) have been on back-order for at least 4 months. The softness of the wood has not been a problem with the addition of a thin clear vinyl piece. We considered glass (heavy) and scratch resistant acrylic (plexiglass). Again, without the chairs it's really just another table, but we couldn't find a table that seemed to pair with the chairs half as well. Looking forward to having the whole set so I can update this review.
