Just bought this for my 7 year olds room in a full. I was a little concerned about it as we have never had a metal bedframe before, only wood, so I thought maybe it would be squeaky, but this is so solid! She has a memory foam mattress so theres no movement at all when you get on the bed, not sure with other types of mattresses if this would be the case, but its just awesome. A few things to note:When I opened the box today, the styrofoam sheeting had somehow gotten pretty roughed up and was in pieces. I had to vacuum all the pieces off since the little foam bits were static sticking EVERYWHERE because of this. Small headache, nothing to do with product. Also, the instructions are only in pictures. Im a visual learner so I was fine with that, BUT the very last step is to put in the slats. This resulted in me having to take apart 1/2 the bed again to put in the slats cause it doesnt work any other way so thats the only part that had me frustrated. Took 2 adults about 4 hours to assemble because "reading" the instructions was a bit of a puzzle and having to take apart again made it take longer. Other than all that.... extremely happy with the product itself for the terrific price!

Assembly was very easy, and bed is extremely sturdy. Took less time to put together than something from Ikea, but more time than something you might buy from a furniture store, probably about 20 minutes total. Looks great, no paint chips or scratches. Packaging was damaged when it arrived, but product was completely unharmed. A 6 year old has slept on this bed, as has a 35 year old man, and we have had no issues.*I purchased this product, and did not receive it free in exchange for a review.

These went together very easily. They are very pretty and have a vintage feel. I built 2 in about an hour. No parts were missing. They are sturdy little beds. We bought these for our young daughters first "big girl beds" and they were perfect for this and will grow with them. However, while a twin sized bed, they are quite low to the ground which makes the bed appear smaller than it is.

I bought two of these. They are super cute! My 5 year old helped me put them together. Assembly is very easy. They are sturdy, my 210lb husband reads to the children in them and has no problem. We bought the Dynasty 10" foam mattress to go with them and we love the combination! I highly recommend this(and the mattress)!

Bought this bed about a year ago for my six year old (now seven year old). She loves it and it’s still holding up strong. She’s jumped on it a handful of times and there’s no issues yet. A year later and it’s as new as the day we got it. I was concerned it wouldn’t hold up but I’m happily surprised.

Questions & Answers

Will a trundle fit underneath?
You won't be able to put a trundle bed under because there is a row of center supports.

I don`t want to use the slats. Would like to put an electric adjustable bed inside the frame. This ok?
I personally would use it how it's supposed to be used. Not exactly sure how that would fit.

Full / Double

A Full / Double bed is a bed meant for couples to share, however with the emergence of so many size options full-double beds are now mainly meant for single sleepers. Back in the 1940s a couple would perfectly fit and enjoy a full double bed, in fact you might have seen one in those 90s movies a classic full-double bed with a nightstand next to it and an old black and white TV on the wall. In modern day, full-double beds are still very popular, mainly among the younger generation who are not married yet and desire a little bit of comfort. Full-double beds fell out of favor of many couple with the introduction of king and queen size beds in to the markets. But despite that a full-double bed is still an excellent choice for single adults with limited space but still desire a bigger bed.

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Black is known to amplify small spaces and also set the right mood in your bedroom space. A black colored bed makes your bedroom fell more intimate and special in ways that you could have never imagined before, something that you would never achieve with any of those bright colors. There is nothing as important as setting the right mood in your bedroom especially if you are a couple since it’s the base of your relationship romantically. A black bed adds a touch of intrigue but still blends right into the bedroom décor colors creating a timeless look.

White

A white bed is definitely a show stopper, it’s plain and simple. Despite people referring to white as lack of other colors, a white bed makes quite a statement. It gives your bedroom space a more open and timeless feel, while allowing your bedroom décor to standout even more clearly. A bed with a pure shade of white energizes your entire space giving it a vibrant new look, giving you the illusion of a more light within your bedroom. What makes a white bed a favorite for many is the fact that white as a color creates a relaxing sleep environment. And as you know choosing the right color is very important, since color is like magic and can influence your state of mind and emotions. If there is one thing you should do right is get yourself a white bed and enjoy every single moment you spend in your bedroom.

Kids

The home is the training ground for children. It's where they learn and cultivate their values and character. So as a parent or a guardian, you play a big role in who they will become. Allow them to be themselves, to explore what they like, and to play with their imagination. Actually, you can start with their bedroom. How? Ask them what wall color they like. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! It can be a great bonding time for you and your kids.

A kid's bed can also be space-saving with its built-in drawers, which can be a way to tidy up their toys and books. Beds with bedside table, where your child(ren) can study and play with papers and crayons, are also available in the market. Of course, kids love to play. Make bedtime fun with tent beds, beds with slide, and house-shaped kids' beds! Surely, your youngster will enjoy both his waking and sleeping hours.

Platform

You may be looking for a bed that is timeless and cost-effective and maybe your life quote is "simplicity is beauty," then you can swear by platform beds. A platform bed is a simple bed frame that has a solid foundation capable to hold any type of mattress without the need of a box spring. It also comes with built-in slats to allow airflow and breathability. And since box springs are unnecessary, you can save money if you decide to buy a new mattress.

Though simple, it doesn't mean that this type of bed is boring. Platform beds come from various materials, such wood, metal, and fiberboard. You may even have them upholstered for an added classic touch! Ideal for all ages, they are also available in different sizes: twin, full, queen, and king. Interestingly, platform beds are great for storing extra stuff since many of them come with drawers and headboard shelving, perfect for keeping your bedroom tidy.

Slat

A good bed must always have a strong base. The slat bed design is a type of base made for a bed. They are a series of connected bars that lie across the width of the frame. The designs offer great support for the mattress, hence providing good support to your back when sleeping and allows good ventilation to the mattress. Good ventilation for the mattress keeps them cleaner and more hygienic. The slats are made from strong wood ensuring the durability of your bed. These bases provide good firm support and are a simple and cheaper option. The slatted design comes in two designs to choose from. You can choose from two types of slats - solid slats or sprung slats. They also offer a good leveling of your mattress, allowing it to last longer.

Metal

One of the most asked question when it comes metallic beds is, are they safe for younger children? And the answer is always, yes they are. One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. Metal beds are also highly portable since they are lighter than other types of bed, and in case you are the kind of person who love rearranging their bedroom setup you will definitely love the metal bed.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Transitional

The transitional bedroom style is one of the most difficult style to master as it is a combination of the traditional and contemporary style, resulting to a classic and timeless design referred to as the transitional style. With this style you will have bold bedroom walls and ceiling, plus unexpected bedroom furniture combination through the smart use of color. This style gives your bedroom that personal warm ambiance. One advantage of the transitional style is that it gets to retain its classic traditional attributes while still having a modern appearance. It’s known to embrace comfortable furnishing, and soft lines without that fuss of traditional styling, while keeping color palettes on the minimum. Incorporating this style into your bedroom gives you that elegant and timeless feel that combines the new with the old. This style is almost similar to the electric style, however it’s more about mixing contemporary furnishing with antiques.

Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.
