I was happy to learn that this product was made by a smaller family owned business! These days it seems everything is mass produced without thought or care or quality. That is not the case with this monster tv mount! When we decided to buy our 85" Samsung TV this past December I realized just any TV mount would not due. They all say they holdx# of inches but the inches to weight on tvs is not universal! This mount was just a little tricky to install based on the size of the thing but we knew what we were getting ourselves into. (-;It didn't take long at all and is super heavy duty and high quality! I could not be happier to give this product and company 2 thumbs up! Wish I had more thumbs to give them!

I was shopping around for a mount that would hold 85+ inch TV and provide post-installation leveling capabilities. Before this mount, I've purchased different mount rated for TV that size and weight rating up to 130lbs, yet tilt mechanism was not capable of holding my TV in place (TV weight of 92 pounds) and I had to return it.It is not the case with this mount. It is very sturdy and tilt lock controls are working just perfect.Capability to level the TV after installation is one of my favorite features. Even if you level the mounting plate perfectly fine, there may still be a slight "give" of other components under weight and put the TV out of level, especially TVs 85 inches and larger. If you're like me and can't tolerate imperfection then this TV mount is for you.

I used two of these for my displays (80-in Sony Bravia, 75-in LG). These mounts are sturdy and handle large, heavy displays very well. I mounted each of mine on oak 1x3 boards, 36-inches wide, so that the mounts would span across 3 wall studs for extra stability. However you could mount the wall plate directly across 2 wall studs if you prefer, and hardware is included for this (in fact a nice amount of mounting hardware is included, not only to mount to wall but mounting TV display to this wall mount).Once the wall plate is attached to your wall, just install the adapter rails on the back of your TV display unit, and using 2 or 3 helpers you can easily lift TV display onto wall plate. It is very easy to install and is very sturdy. Provides a good range of motion for displays that are larger than 70-inches and I have full confidence moving TV displays around. I highly recommend this product for larger TV displays.

Generally I liked the mount, its build with appropriate thickness metal to support the heavier / larger TVs.The one downside to the entire mount is that the plate you bolt to the wall is permanently tied to the rest of the articulating arm, so you have open the mount up to its furthest position so you can get access to all the holes of the frame. This requires at least two people to install at this point. The first two bolts are used with hanging loops; which requires you to measure quite precisely in order for it to actually have the bolts slip into the loops and hold the frame while you tighten them down. The plus side of this design issue is that generally the entire thing is more sturdy, which, IMO is an acceptable tradeoff. The positioning of the TV on the mount from left to right is mainly based on friction of the grips bars that are bolted onto the TV frame. The grip seems adequate so it doesn't slide side to side but if you need to center the TV left to right, you may have to pick up the entire TV (two people again) and re-attach to the main mount articulating arm. Not really a big issue here either, just something to watch for when you put the TV on the mount. Make sure you have it where you want it.I mounted our 75" TV at 7ft off the ground, so this was quite tricky i needed 3 people, 2 to climb ladders with the edges of the TV and a 3rd person supporting the TV as we went up to hook on mount. Of course, this is not an issue with lighter / smaller TVs.Read more

My problem with the mount is that the front leveling screws are very small screws. The rest of the mount is very heavy duty but the whole wieght of the tv is relying on those four small screws to hold it. I couldn't get past it and drilled them out and put bigger ones. Check the pictures they are right in the front. The tilt screws are also very small but I thought they would be ok and I wasn't going to be easy to change. I don't think I was being overly cautious they are very small.

Bought and installed 2 of them for a 65" and 77" TV.Both Sony's, using a 300 x 300 VESA mounting. This is not a good option for that mounting dimensions.A very poor design places the holes near a bottom bracket. They actually interfere with that bracket and can lead to big trouble when trying to mount a huge TV.With a Sony 300 VESA, there is only one practical way to mount the support brackets to the back of the TV. Only ONE and it causes big trouble. If your TV uses a 300 x 300 VESA mounting, Id' stay far away from this one. It's probably why they have so many returns for sale. It's scary.I have very good experience, and with several modifications, was able to make them work. thesae Mod's are not ideal but safety continues with them. These guys are built like a tank and weight some 30+lbs each. Very heavy duty, but the steel is not the highest quality nor is the coating.I can't speak to the VESA mounts outside of 300 x 300, so you may be fine. I mounted both TV's by myself but modifications were necessary. A bit hairy at times.Read more

There are 2 important things about this mount that aren’t discussed in the ads. First, and most important, it will not attach to walls will 24 inch spacing on the wall studs. I beilieve most homes are set on a 16 inch stud spacing, but many, like in Florida are not. The wall mounting plate is just at 23 inches , so it won’t attach to the wall. Secondly, the unit is extremely heavy - it weighs more than my tv ! The Amazon techs who came over were pretty amazed at the weight. They both indicated that brackets significantly lighter would do the job.

Cable Management

Electric devices play a crucial role in brightening the living room and breaking boredom. A cable management feature on a tv stand will ensure neatness while offering safety. All devices must use electricity and cables running everywhere, which can pose a significant risk for any member of the house. With a cable management feature installed on a tv stand, you rest assured of safety and elegance. Stands without proper cable management usually look shaggy, and in case you have toddlers around, you never know when the can will be changed to 'meal' as they don't choose what goes in the mouth. Managing cables or wires helps to maintain essential functions and also protect the devices from the clogged airflow due to messy and disordered wires. Tangled-up lines may make it hard for anyone cleaning the tv stand. The cable management feature is therefore essential to create a visually pleasing and clean work environment.

Concrete

A concrete TV stand offers you a customizable, hand crafted stand made with a mortar mix consisting of cement and sand. A concrete TV stand brings about both functionality and beauty, despite being quite durable and easy to clean and maintain as compared to most TV stands. One of the biggest advantage of having a concrete TV stand is that its durability is unmatched and can last you for decades, as it exceptionally strong. The only con associated with having a concrete TV stand is the fact that it is highly venerable to stains and it will require proper maintenance which include reapplying the sealer and waxing. Another huge advantage of a concrete TV stand is the fact that it is highly customizable, meaning that it can be easily configured to match your design or taste. Creating a concrete TV stand requires a lot of labour and time, which makes it quite expensive as compared to most TV stands.

Stone

Gone are the days that the only TV stand you could find in the market, was only made out of wood or plastic, at this time and age you can also get a stone TV stand, in fact there are over a dozen stone TV stand available ranging from natural stone, quartz, tinted concrete, ceramic tile, granite to renewable acrylic sheets TV stands which come in different textures, color, and patterns. One of the biggest advantage of having a stone TV stand is that it’s very durable as compared to most TV stands and will even outlast most of your furniture. Plus it’s also quite easy to clean and maintain, all you need to use is a stone cleaner but not your regular abrasive cleaner. If you are in the market for a durable TV stand that will withstand the test of time then you should definitely get the Stone TV stand.

Wood

Wood tv stands are one of the most popular types of tv stands available on the market-and for good reason! Wood is a versatile, beautiful, and natural way to enhance the aesthetic of your home living spaces. A wood tv stand can be different colors/tones or finishes, including painted, stained, or airbrushed.
