Have had this for about 9 months and it’s moved with us three times, so been assembled and I assembled that many times as well. It is sturdy, as my 7 year old climbs up the sides and the ladder all the time. I am mom and I have the bottom with the queen size bed with a topper and it fits and is super cozy. No jumping in the top bunk cause it’s just secured with wood slats. But, it has not broken yet and my kid is pretty rambunctious! It looks very nice and is very helpful to have the extra sleep space on top. I give 5 stars cause ours has been through a LOT and it has withstanded the abuse and still looks elegant and is comfortable. Great bunk bed!

Easy to put together. My husband took only a few hours by himself. Most of all it’s stable and easily fits my 6 foot 12 yr old son. Well made unlike our metal bunk beds we have tried.

Very nice, sturdy bed. Note that the top bunk is a Twin XL, and needs the appropriate sized mattress. We also added extra slats on both the bottom and top bunks, as there were definitely not enough. Our only other negative was that the drawers are very shallow. They only go about a quarter of the depth of the bed, which is unfortunate. Overall, though, we are very pleased with our purchase.

We purchased this bunk bed because it was one of the only bunk beds that had a queen/twin option (we already had those sizes of Mattresses) However when we received it, and nearly had the constructions complete, we got to the very end of the instructions and they stated to use a twin XL mattress on the top and not the twin. It also did not come with the storage cubby shown at the end of the twin bed as it does in the picture. If that was included, the twin mattress would have fit. I am not sure if this is advertised incorrectly or if a piece was missing from my packages. I will be reaching out to customer service to fix. Otherwise the quality seems fine!

Overall, this bunk bed looks good and was fairly simple to put together. But simple does not always mean easy. There were a couple of screws on the top bunk that we needed to use a drill - no way we could have gotten it in by hand. The drawers were the worst part - very time consuming and frustrating to assemble, and the track on one of the drawers fell off before we were even done assembling it.

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Brown

Even though brown is not the most obvious color to use when decorating your bedroom. A Brown bed’s warmth nook makes it worth incorporating in to your bedroom. And the fact that you would never expect to see a brown bed or bedroom décor makes it perfect for anyone who loves experimenting on colors and doesn’t like using playful pastels and bright neon’s. To avoid it from being swallowed into the dark bedroom interior, it’s recommended to be used in a bedroom with bright interior colors that bring about more lighting, which is a rich tone up especially to the brown bed and in the process creating another element intrigue. A brown bed is the only way to tone down a bright bedroom interior without having to repaint the walls.

Kids

The home is the training ground for children. It's where they learn and cultivate their values and character. So as a parent or a guardian, you play a big role in who they will become. Allow them to be themselves, to explore what they like, and to play with their imagination. Actually, you can start with their bedroom. How? Ask them what wall color they like. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! It can be a great bonding time for you and your kids.

A kid's bed can also be space-saving with its built-in drawers, which can be a way to tidy up their toys and books. Beds with bedside table, where your child(ren) can study and play with papers and crayons, are also available in the market. Of course, kids love to play. Make bedtime fun with tent beds, beds with slide, and house-shaped kids' beds! Surely, your youngster will enjoy both his waking and sleeping hours.

Storage Included

When your bedroom space is small storage can be the biggest challenge you will encounter. Your closet could be a solution but not big enough to pack so many clothes. Well, you may want to buy a bigger cabinet, but you don’t want to pack so many dressers and cabinets into your space that it feels clunky and crowded. Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress. Ultimately, your choice will come down to what's most convenient for you.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

If you opt to get you kid a bed of his or her own a wooden bed is always the best choice, since they are much easier to clean and maintain since its common knowledge how messy a child’s bedroom become. What makes a wooden bed the perfect choice for your child’s bedroom is its ability to withstand everything your child throws at it. This is because wooden beds are known to be sturdy and robust no matter the environment they are in.

Transitional

The transitional bedroom style is one of the most difficult style to master as it is a combination of the traditional and contemporary style, resulting to a classic and timeless design referred to as the transitional style. With this style you will have bold bedroom walls and ceiling, plus unexpected bedroom furniture combination through the smart use of color. This style gives your bedroom that personal warm ambiance. One advantage of the transitional style is that it gets to retain its classic traditional attributes while still having a modern appearance. It’s known to embrace comfortable furnishing, and soft lines without that fuss of traditional styling, while keeping color palettes on the minimum. Incorporating this style into your bedroom gives you that elegant and timeless feel that combines the new with the old. This style is almost similar to the electric style, however it’s more about mixing contemporary furnishing with antiques.

Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.

Pine

Do you love a rustic, classic bedroom style? A pine wood bed frame should be at the top of your shopping list! Pine wood is a softwood variety, meaning it is well-suited for use in both indoor and outdoor furniture because of its durability. Pine is a shock-resistant wood that is strong and long-lasting and is well-suited for crafting ornate and intricate details; this only adds more beauty to your home! Pine wood is lighter in color with an almost creamy white appearance; it is beautiful in both its natural state or finished with a stain. Pine wood is also lighter in weight than some other wood varieties, making assembly of bed frames relatively simple and quick. Pine wood bed frames are an ideal wood to stain, which gives you the opportunity to change or enhance your style as your preferences change. It’s a perfect choice whether you want to achieve a rustic, warm bedroom environment, or a more modern, contemporary sleep space.

Softwoods

Softwood wood varieties are wood types that are sourced from cone bearing trees (evergreens with needles), such as spruce, pine, and fir. Softwood wood varieties are well-known for their superb ability to resist decay and/or rot, making them an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor use; they are long-lasting and very durable. Softwood wood varieties are also versatile and are the top choice for designing and crafting furniture with ornate, distinct details. Softwoods are more vulnerable to dings or dents; however, they are still very sturdy and dependable furniture pieces. Due to the wood type’s versatility, softwood bed frames are ideal for people who love an ornate and detailed décor style. Softwood wood types most often have a neutral, earthy color and pair well with bright color palettes to create a gorgeous contrast and give your bedroom a fresh new look!

Espresso Wood

When talking about coffees, espresso is the strong black one. In furniture and woods, it is actually somewhat similar to that. Espresso is a deep, dark brown color, so dark that it is sometimes mistaken to be jet black when, in fact, it stands between the two colors. If you want your bed to look elegant, go for espresso wood. It will also appear neat because dark color can magically tuck away dirt and dust. When under direct lighting, espresso gives out red hues. Cabinets, tables, and shelves that are in espresso sell more than those in light colors because many people opt for a traditional and classic look. Because of its neutral color, espresso is very versatile. It can go well with any home color scheme and design style. Since it's not black and definitely not a bright color, espresso can be pleasing and gentle to the feeling and to the eyes. It can also make you feel relaxed because of its soothing and coffee-like color, perfect after a long day at work.

Espresso may also be your favorite drink! You will definitely wake up feeling energized just by seeing your bed.
