Serves its function perfectly. I bought this as I had purchased a new 8" box spring and a new 15" mattress, which made my bed sit way too high on my old frame. This solved the problem perfectly! I added this to a new queen upholstered headboard, and no longer feel like I need a step stool to climb into bed. Also has the center support which is necessary, and I love that it is on wheels so I can move the bed to clean. Highly recommend if you need to lower your bed due to the higher mattresses they sell now. Easy to assemble too.

We bought this frame for our 2 year old's bed. She's on the shorter side, so we wanted something low to the ground since decent mattresses are so much bigger now. I like that this frame keeps her bed within a reasonable height so she can climb in and out on her own. There isn't much room under the bed, so bed skirts and under bed storage won't work with this. It can also be a bit of a struggle to retrieve anything that gets lost under there.

I finally found a bed frame that was low enough so I didn't need a step ladder to get in my extra thick mattress and memory foam bed. Very easy to put together, and has the added benefit of being adjustable to whatever size bed you own. Mine is queen, but next time I get a new mattress it will be king, so no need to get a new bed frame.

This item arrived slightly damaged. The shipping carton was not terribly beat up but on opening, the left headboard bracket was bent out of shape. I was able to straighten the bracket using my 4"x4" steel bench block and a sledge hammer. The frame is easy to assemble with relatively straight-forward instructions. It fits my Douglas queen foundation perfectly. It's sturdy and I like the wide center support and that the frame has 6 legs, all with castors. Purolator is my least favorite shipper. In our community (Creston, BC), Purolator does not deliver to the door, rather to their agent. For a senior without a truck this can be a disadvantage if an item is oversize or extremely heavy. Also Purolator's tracking is a joke. My tracking detail indicated the item was delayed in Vancouver, having missed a connection on August 3. Nothing changed on the tracking detail for the next 5 days. That being said, the item arrived Aug 8, ahead of schedule. The new 12" thick mattress coupled with a 7" foundation meant my existing bed frame was too high for safety. This is a wonderful solution. I'd give 5 stars if it hadn't been damaged.

A bit of a struggle to put together, getting it to line up properly. Haven't slept on it yet, so cannot attest to strength. Be aware it is very low to the ground, but it seems like it will be easy enough to move down the line, since there are casters on all 5 points.

This bed frame, which was acceptable once assembled, was nearly impossible to put together. Not only were the instructions completely inadequate, but the product itself was defective. Five of the six rollers were inserted easily - the sixth would not go in because the two pieces of metal that form a circle to hold the caster were closed too tightly (about 1/2 inch less space than the others). We had to beat and hammer the opening to make it larger - not in any way easy, and not even possible without some serious tools and personal strength. Most people would not have been able to correct this manufacturing defect and would have been stuck with a bed frame they would have had to disassemble and return. There is really no excuse for this.

Beds that don’t squeak are made from solid wood materials. These types of materials are stronger, well-built and less inclined to produce small noises. The reason behind the squeaky bed is that the frame is loose so the side rails and headboard are rubbing against each other.

The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.
