Nice heavy piece of furniture. Took a few weeks to receive but worth the wait. Tight drawers and nice sliding of drawers. The deep drawers are really nice. It is a RECLAIMED piece. So understand what that means before purchasing. I love it. It does have “screw or nail holes” — these are the ‘black spots’ on the dresser. But the holes add character!! I would recommend!!

This is a stunning piece! We bought this dresser to go with the Kimberly Reclaimed Pine Bed. The drawers are large and provide lots of storage. We are very pleased with our purchase!

Extremely cheaply made. Has nasty odor to it (no, it doesn't smell like new wood, but rather like chemicals). Lots of discolorations. Holes are not just "imperfections and knots" that you can see in barn style furniture, but HOLES that go through the wood. The inside of the cabinets are super rough, and they are just stained - no primer, no coverage of some kind of semigloss paint, so the stain paint is coming off, making my clothes dirty. The matching bachelor dressers both came broken and defective. Very poor quality. Don't buy it.

Brown

A dresser and a chest function the same, but the difference lies in the piece which is designed. A dresser and chest of drawers are some of the most important elements serving both as storage and décor piece. Organize your interior with a brown colour dresser and chest finish. The streamlined brown colour drawers offer a modern style with minimal fuss. A wood dresser and chest in a neutral, classic, or contemporary finish will work with any décor. This type of dresser and chest finish is very luxe and are also versatile giving a warm rustic beauty that fits comfortably into any bedroom décor. The rich look flows beautifully over the decorative framed details and flawlessly captures the true feel of the rustic design which is the perfect choice for any home environment. Gray

No bedroom is complete without a nice dresser to keep your clothes neatly. A Chic-style dresser and chest make your living space feels more comfortable and casual. The construction showcases the finish in a neutral colour. The grey dresser and chest finish are widely popular and are seen in many rural and coastal homes globally. The Gray finish is surely the style you choose melding your existing interior décor. The grey option in the form of a dresser and chest showcases the lodge panel front and the straight lines surrounded by moulding which provides a traditional look in a warm finish combined with modern functionality. This piece of furniture is meant to be practical and also has an attractive design that makes a statement. On the overall colour scheme, the grey finish dresser matches them all no matter what the theme of your home is. Natural

A natural finish dresser will create a subtle and understated look in your home. ‘Natural’ can mean many things; most often, a natural finish will be a neutral-colored furniture piece that is crafted of a subtly colored wood (like parawood). Natural-finished furniture pieces serve to enhance a rustic, coastal, or farmhouse design motif, but are versatile enough that you could integrate the piece with your existing furniture. While a natural-toned dresser or chest may seem simple, it’s anything but; a natural finish is sophisticated and distinctive, not to mention versatile. Natural-finished dressers or chests are perfect for people who enjoy DIY or home projects; the beauty of a natural finish is that you can easily paint or stain the surface to change the appearance to keep up with your ever-changing style preferences.

Ensure you check to see if your material was treated.

Wood

Wood is classified into two major categories, that's is softwood and hardwood. Softwood is easier to work with hence making elegant dressers and chests in your room. On the other hand, hardwood is the most durable material when it comes to furniture making. Wood is well treated to the longevity of dressers & chests. Users can pick either softwood or hardwood for their preference. Both kinds of wood need care and maintenance and from time to time wipe your wood perfectly. If you love personalized touch in your dressers and chest, you can always go for these materials because it's easier to work with compared to metals. Nine drawers dressers and chests can be aligned in different styles. To start with drawers made using nine drawers can be divided into three rows and columns. This way users have the advantage to store multiple clothes in different sections of the dresser. Since most dressers are short and wide, having a nine drawers dresser will give you the freedom to have a large surface top for working or placing your items or mirror when working or doing make-up for ladies. Having such a big number of drawers also displays boldness and organization. People will tell you that the more the number of drawers the cleaner your bedroom, because you won't clutter your room. Also, the view displayed by these drawers is amazingly beautiful as the patterns are many and the sense of having many knobs of the drawers makes it even more attractive. This works the same for the chest, however, the chest will be taller hence may make it harder for young ones to open it.

Double Dresser

A double dresser is a wide dresser, that is made up of double columns of wide and spacious drawers for storage. This dresser is ideal for individuals sharing a large room. With a double dresser, one must consider the size of your space before trying these dressers, because it can be overwhelming in small spaces. However, double dressers are perfect for large and can be positioned at a strategic position that is focal. To make this dresser even more focal, add a mirror at the top. The dresser also has two long drawers across its width for most of its height. With double dressers, users have plenty of room for storage, making it easier for individual sharing to be able to split spaces and avoid mixing clothes. Double dressers function well in both guests rooms or children's rooms where more than one person is operating on the double dresser.

Pine

Pine wood is a popular choice for furniture making. This softwood variety is easy to work with, dense, and doesn’t split easily. Pine wood has a light-colored appearance with plenty of wood grains and knots throughout the wood, making it a distinctive wood type. Pine wood dressers or chests are often available with intricate wood work or fine details, as pine wood (being a softwood variety) is very malleable and can maintain its strength. The light, naturally bright tone of pine wood makes it a beautiful complement to a range of home décor motifs, including traditional/classic, coastal, boho/eclectic, and minimalist. The appearance of pine is more minimalistic compared to other wood types, like Maple or Oak, which is more traditional. Pine is a strong and resilient wood type, making it a great choice for a dresser or chest. The natural beauty of pine will enhance a calm and serene ambience in your home living spaces and will provide a gorgeous focal point in your home.

Softwoods

Softwoods are wood types that come from conifer trees, such as fir, cedar, and spruce. Softwood tree types grow faster than hardwood, and are less dense than hardwood types, as a result, softwoods are easier to work with in terms of craftsmanship; you can add gorgeous hardware to further enhance the look of the furniture. Softwood dressers and chests have a lower risk of splitting when inserting nails or screws, making it an ideal choice for use in furniture pieces. Softwood dressers tend to be less expensive than other wood types, as softwood trees grow faster than hardwood trees. Softwood dressers vary in appearance; softwoods such as pine have plenty of knots throughout the wood grain, making it an ideal choice to enhance a rustic design style. Softwood dressers or chests also have a classic wood smell, which can enhance a cozy atmosphere in your home. The three types of softwood that are most often used for furniture making are pine, fir and cedar. Each of these wood types is beautiful, rich and warm. Any dresser or chest made from a softwood wood type will enhance a cozy and elegant style.
