We bought this as a Christmas Gift for our 3 year old daughter. It was the best purchase we made all year. Even though we downsized her bed from a queen to a twin, she has not complained once. The bed was easy to assemble, and only took my husband about 1.5-2 hours to put together. We did receive a cracked piece of wood, but had tremendous customer service and received a replacement within 2 days.We have not had any issues with the slide being too straight. Both our kids have enjoyed having an indoor slide in the house. There are lots of other loft with slides out there (we did a ridiculous amount of research), and while this one is a little more pricey than the others, it’s value is worth it in gold. I love that the slide can go on either side of the bed, and that the hardware matches the white wood. In addition, there is a high weight limit on this bed, so we are still able to lay with our kiddo and read her bedtime stories without being afraid of falling through. The ONLY minute downside is that we had to go and purchase hardy board to go under the mattress so that the blankets wouldn’t go between the slats.Read more

This is great for my two grandsons who are 3 and 5. We bought them the loft bed version with the stairs, not the ladder, and put a full-sized foam mattress on the floor underneath, like a twin-full bunk bed. We chose this loft bed because it is low so if one of the kids jumps or rolls out, they don’t have far to fall and the full bed underneath adds about a foot more cushion to break a fall. That being said, with a 10” twin foam mattress on top, there is still plenty of railing extending high enough to prevent accidental rolling out of bed, so that’s another plus. The stairs are safe for even our youngest grandson to climb on - he is just over 1.The only downside is that one of the parts of the stair railing arrived broken and we had to use wood glue to assemble it. Overall, including the wood glue, it took about three hours for two people to assemble. Even with the broken part, the price was right and the finished product is everything we hoped it would be. Great looking and very sturdy.

My husband set this up in about 2.5 hours. It comes in hundreds of pieces fit into a long heavy box. I didnt help but he didn't complain too much as he was setting it up so I'm assuming it's not too difficult. It's surprising how it fit in that box!. My four year old LOVES it as expected. Bought 2 six inch mattresses. One for the top and one to put on the floor on the bottom. It's just like having a bunk bed, but with the option of having no lower bunk for storage or play space. It wobbles just a tiny bit when she crawls across to get to the slide but it's pretty sturdy. And when she stomps up the slide, and im sitting underneath, it sounds like she's gunna cracking right though the slide so I tell her no stomping. Also, the wooden slats that hold the top mattress in place, they're not sanded so if you're under the bed, don't run your fingers across the slats (as a child would be tempted to do) because I could feel a splinter waiting to happen. All in all it's a great bed!

The bed is super cute! Fairly sturdy, however, I took off one star because the slats are spaced pretty far apart so the mattress we have up top (IKEA foam mattress) sinks down between them when weight is put on it. I’ve ordered a “bunkie board” that has slats going in the opposite direction, so I think that will solve the problem. The slide is a big hit, but trying to think of a solution for a cushion at the bottom. Overall a great bed at a good price!

My wife and I were looking for a loft bed to make some more play space in my 3.5yr old son's bedroom. It's a fairly small room and we wanted more room for him to spread out his toys and things on the floor. He loves the new bed and spends quite a bit of time up on the bed part with his books as he does down below playing. We didn't think of how much he would like spending time in the bed part.Assembly was fairly straight forward and the instructions are complete. The worst part of assembly is putting together the long side of the upper rails. Since there aren't separate fasteners, they have to be slid in at the same time as the end panels go on. Definitely requires two people. When assembled as delivered, the bed is fairly sturdy. It's not too tall, so it would probably be livable. I decided to make a couple of improvements for its long-term use and peace of mind. The first was that I added 6 more slats to the part that supports the mattress. We are using a 5" thick foam mattress from IKEA and it just seemed too soft in places. With three 1x3's eight feet long, I cut six more slats at 39" and screwed them down just like the others. The next improvement was to use some self-tapping sheet metal screws to join the slats to the steel beam down the center. This made a huge difference in the rigidity of the bed. Finally, I added two anti-tip furniture straps to tie it to the wall.Overall, I would say that this was a winner. I was hesitant to buy something instead of building it myself, but I think that in this case it was a success. With a couple of inexpensive improvements it became exactly what we needed.Read more

Play Video My son grew out of his toddler bed, so we went looking for a loft for him. With COVID-19, lots of places were closed or out of stock on good lofts. So, I spent many hours researching the best loft and eventually spent almost $500 on this one because of the stairs! I do NOT recommend this loft. I would like to return this but after spending 3 hours on assembling it, we have no choice but to keep it. Basically, difficult and frustratiing to assemble. When you finish, the product is disappointing! I'm 8 months pregnant and was able to wobble it with little effort.CONS:- it took 3 guys 3 hours to assemble this- screws were NOT labeled- parts were mislabeled- instructions were ALL in drawing, so you had to "guess" where each part went and which screw to use- VERY VERY VERY wobbly (see my video) and it squeaks- thin legs that hold the entire loft up- thin slats (I read this in the review, so I bought a bunkie board).PROS:NONE!Read more

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

White

A white bed is definitely a show stopper, it’s plain and simple. Despite people referring to white as lack of other colors, a white bed makes quite a statement. It gives your bedroom space a more open and timeless feel, while allowing your bedroom décor to standout even more clearly. A bed with a pure shade of white energizes your entire space giving it a vibrant new look, giving you the illusion of a more light within your bedroom. What makes a white bed a favorite for many is the fact that white as a color creates a relaxing sleep environment. And as you know choosing the right color is very important, since color is like magic and can influence your state of mind and emotions. If there is one thing you should do right is get yourself a white bed and enjoy every single moment you spend in your bedroom.

Kids

The home is the training ground for children. It's where they learn and cultivate their values and character. So as a parent or a guardian, you play a big role in who they will become. Allow them to be themselves, to explore what they like, and to play with their imagination. Actually, you can start with their bedroom. How? Ask them what wall color they like. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! It can be a great bonding time for you and your kids.

A kid's bed can also be space-saving with its built-in drawers, which can be a way to tidy up their toys and books. Beds with bedside table, where your child(ren) can study and play with papers and crayons, are also available in the market. Of course, kids love to play. Make bedtime fun with tent beds, beds with slide, and house-shaped kids' beds! Surely, your youngster will enjoy both his waking and sleeping hours.

Storage Included

When your bedroom space is small storage can be the biggest challenge you will encounter. Your closet could be a solution but not big enough to pack so many clothes. Well, you may want to buy a bigger cabinet, but you don’t want to pack so many dressers and cabinets into your space that it feels clunky and crowded. Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress. Ultimately, your choice will come down to what's most convenient for you.
