This bed is so beautiful!! We were not disappointed at all! It is very heavy duty, just like it looks like it would be. The details are lovely and the color is like in the photographs. We can't wait to get the rest of the set!

The item took a while to be delivered but i was aware of that when I ordered it, however it was delivered 4 days earlier which was nice. It is really heavy. If you have assembled an ikea furniture before, dont worry it nothing like that. someone would have to wipe the smile off your face as you assemble it and see how easy it is. Instructions was easy .They were divided into two sections, the head board and the foot board with side rails and slates. Both Instructions had pictures diagrams step 1 and so on. Like I said the bed is really heavy so i would suggest an extra pair of hands, if like me you dont have that a chair and some good old fashioned elbow grease is your friend. The bed has 3 slates on which to put your mattress but if your are going to put it directly on the slate i would suggest you get more slates, .. strangely(might be intentional on the manufacturer' s part ) there were 2 extra strips in the box that could be used as slates. If like me you have a box spring no issue there. It is beautiful and well made. I have no doubt durability will not be a problem. It is exactly as advertised the color is cognac or expresso. Would absolutely recommend it. Like i said beautiful.

This is well made and exactly as it was described. Fairly simple to put together.. It is hard to find a bed that is all wood. It certainly adds old world charm to the room. Instructions were pretty clear once you figured out which way they were facing. A screw gun and the provided tools made it easy to put this together in way less than 2 hrs. Only complaint is that the delivery company just dropped it on the deck in the middle of a pouring rain storm and insisted that they didn't need to bring it in the door for me. Had to go get some help in a hurry to get it inside as it is extremely heavy. Looking forward to purchasing the entire set

I got of compliments for guests and friends when I show them my house. Very easy to build just follow the directions. But not all parts are solid wood, they're just look like it. They put mix wood between flat solid wood, for the real whole solid woods the price will be 3k up depending on the brand and designs. Color will darker than the pic you see a bit

Product comes with assembly required which is understandable. Easy to do, just need a little help from a friend. Bed is heavy and shows quality. You do not need a frame as it comes with a wood one. Mattress sits high which looks good.

How deep into the side boards does the mattress sit, as I am curious what type of box spring or foundation my mattress would need? Or, is there simply a solid wood surface on which I place the King mattress, so I don't need any box spring or foundation at all?ALSO, is there a center leg to the frame?

Brass as a color is used as a representation of ultra-high-end designs as it is used to signify showiness and conspicuous consumption. Despite brass being an amazing color you should not overwhelm your bedroom with one color in fact brass will feel more modern and subtle when it’s scattered in small doses throughout your bedroom. Having a brass bed brings about that traditional, homey, and nostalgic feeling as you embrace the rich tones brought about by a brass bed.

Brown

Even though brown is not the most obvious color to use when decorating your bedroom. A Brown bed’s warmth nook makes it worth incorporating in to your bedroom. To avoid it from being swallowed into the dark bedroom interior, it’s recommended to be used in a bedroom with bright interior colors that bring about more lighting, which is a rich tone up especially to the brown bed and in the process creating another element intrigue. A brown bed is the only way to tone down a bright bedroom interior without having to repaint the walls.

Cherry

A cherry bed bring that traditional look to your bedroom space, with its timeless style that blends seamlessly with a wide variety of interior design concept and colors. A real cherry wood bed brings in that traditional feel and look in to your bedroom giving it that rich and lustrous look. A cherry bed tends to have a dark, reddish-brown theme that deepens with age. It’s also recommended that you place your cherry bed next to a window so that the natural light can accelerate the wood-darkening process. With a cherry bed too many decorative accessories can take the focus off your cherry bed as they are visual distractions making your bedroom space look disorganized and cluttered. The best decoration to use is a glittering chandelier that you hand at the center of your bedroom to illuminate the natural aesthetic of your cherry bed while still providing perfect lighting for your bedtime reading.

Drawers

A cluttered bedroom is not pleasing and relaxing at all. Sometimes, though your things are well-organized, seeing them still makes your space crowded. Two options are available: throw away your stuff or upgrade your regular bed into a drawer or storage bed. For sure, you will choose the latter, right?

Space-saving and multifunctional, drawer beds can make you feel like you don't need shelves and cabinets anymore. They come with 2 drawers, 4 drawers, 2 full and 2 half drawers, or end drawers built in the bed frame. Full ottoman and half ottoman are also available, where the entire bed offers hidden storage space. Drawer beds can also benefit your stuff since they are hidden, they won't accumulate dust. Finding them can also be easy for you because you have just one place to look at. After all, a tidy room can make your sleep better and more comfortable. Four Poster

Introduced in the 1400's, four-poster beds were more than just a piece of furniture -- they were a symbol of money and power. It was known as the "Bed of Kings." Little did they know that this type of bed can adapt to today's modernism. Initially made from wood, four-poster beds, nowadays, are built from metal and acrylics. Japanese-style room? Scandinavian? Tropical? Don't worry, this type of bed can be personalized and definitely take on any theme. You may leave it as it is, put up curtains, or have a sheet drape over the side. No matter how you style it, four-poster beds can and will make you feel, sleep, and wake up like a royalty.

These bases provide good firm support and are a simple and cheaper option. The slatted design comes in two designs to choose from. You can choose from two types of slats - solid slats or sprung slats. They also offer a good leveling of your mattress, allowing it to last longer.

Metal

One of the most asked question when it comes metallic beds is, are they safe for younger children? And the answer is always, yes they are. One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame.
