Nice beds. All the wood was in good condition without noticeable blemishes or scratches. No missing parts. Instructions clear except for attaching the little vertical piece of wood on the top rails. Assembly took about three hours. The kids absolutely love it. The full size bottom bunk offers ample room to be a "hang out" area in addition to a bed, complete with a book rack behind the stairs. The one negative: rather than wooden slates for underneath the mattresses, this set came with metal tubes that felt very light-weight. I definitely questioned their strength, especially given the large span with no middle support for the bottom bed. To be fair, a mattress distributes the weight across multiple tubes, and it doesn't seem to be a problem. I would have preferred something with a sturdier feel, though. I'd dock half a star for that, so consider this a 4.5 star review.

Sturdy, stylish and easy to assemble. And it's solid wood - NOT particle board. Who can ask for more. I am a 68 year old woman and assembled it 100% by myself, including reversing the dresser/steps unit. Took me just over 5 hours including food break. I did not follow the instructions 100% since I would have needed another set of hands so instead of entirely assembling top unit on the floor and then lifting into place, I read thru carefully and assembled it piece by piece onto the bottom once the bottom was complete. Actually quite easy. The grandkids gave it a test drive last weekend and pronounced it terrific. Beats the heck out of the cheap twin over twin white metal one I used to have.

I love this bed! I wasn't sure what to expect as far as putting it together. It does take a little time (2-3 hours) but is well worth it and not difficult at all, if you follow the directions given, even with changing what side the stairs and dresser are on. I do however have a very handy husband. It is a good quality product. Very satisfied with this purchase! All parts were in great shape upon delivery. No problems or complaints here at all! And it looks great set up!

Great quality wood and pretty easy to put together but be ready to have a power drill so it takes less time. It was shipped on a huge crate and nothing came damaged. I researched for months for a good find for my little boys 2 years and 3 years old. The color is as you see in these pictures. We got gel memory foam mattresses for them and we love those. I didn't want them trying to jump on the mattresses so no springs in any of them.

We really liked extra storage room offered by this bed frame. We ordered the Twin over Full frame on May 8th. It had a large delivery window of May 14 to May 26th when we placed the order. The frame came a day early on May 13. A shipping company contacted us before delivery. It will be delivered off a freight truck on a pallet. They do not bring anything inside. But pulling it up box by box is not hard. We began assembly that night and got it half done. The following evening we went to finish it and discovered damaged pieces that prevented us from going further. We contacted them by e-mail with pictures and part numbers. They responded the following business day and had replacement pieces shipped out that day. Parts came a few days later and we were able to complete the frame without any issues. It's very nice, my girls love it. I love all the drawers.

After trying to order what seemed to be the “same bed” from another vendor without success I ordered this (for $10 more). It’s awesome! It is sturdier than I expected. The dresser and bottom drawers came preassembled which simplified assembly. Read through the instructions before beginning and you’ll be set. It’s perfect!!

My daughters are older and my oldest now visits with her kids. I pitched this unit so my youngest daughter (now 16) can have her older sister sleep in her room without having to sleep in her full sized bed. The other room was converted to a bedroom for my 2 grandkids and this looked like something the 3 of us could put together. The assembly took about 3 hours and this unit is designed for several options and configurations. We bought the one with the drawers underneath and the extension kit for a full size bed on the bottom with a twin on the top. Most of the parts are packaged very well but the largest box (that had the fully assembled dresser drawers) had 2 extra pieces of wood attached into the screw holes the poles eventually replace. It is these board (see pictures) that have no support in the box and bent in bending 2 of the screws and cracking the wood on the dresser. We glued the broken wood back together and drilled new holes in the non-split area so it looks ok for the patch. The unit looks very nice when assembled and I’m happy with the purchase.Read more

Okay. I’m a fairly capable female who can read, has installed a kitchen full of IKEA cabinets and who has put together other furniture multiple times, successfully. In short, I’m handy, experienced. When the bed arrived in 7-9 boxes, wrapped on a pallet I was I little surprised, but took it in stride. My 16 year old daughter and I were able to bring all of the boxes up 2 flights of stairs without issue; The biggest box we struggled with, we had to stop and rest a few times, but otherwise no problems. From here though, things went downhill fast. First problem came when we began looking for the instructions. No instructions. We didn’t really want to open all the boxes at once, they were numbered, and I figured instructions would tell us what to open and put together first, with a semblance of order, but we ended up opening all the boxes looking for instructions. The last box we opened had some instructions. We had pieces and parts everywhere by this time, and a bunch of hardware in a pile, but we had instructions. After looking at the instructions, I realized that what we had were extremely bad instructions. These instructions were similar to IKEAs all picture instructions (all pictures as instructions reduces the need for a bunch of instructions in different languages; IKEA knows what’s up) but were so vague about what hardware to use where that you just had to guess. There was also no way to check to make sure all pieces were present, this bed comes in several configurations, the instructions include a list of parts for every possible configuration, there was no way to determine which of the parts pertained to my particular configuration. The instructions were the same way, gave vague directives overall then directed you to this page if you had the full sized option, this page if you had the trundle option, this page if you had the underbed drawer option, was completely confusing. Because I didn’t have any idea what hardware went where, I didn’t realize I was missing 12 bolts until I went to install the bed rails. I checked in all empty boxes to make sure they weren’t over-looked, no bolts. Had the nuts/fasteners just not the bolts. Also didn’t have the security bars for the top rails of the bunk bed. The bed itself is very nice, all wood, well made, and the drawer/stairs combination is made so it can go on either the right or left side of the bed, it easily switches, which is nice. The magazine rack is cheesy, I wish it hadn’t been included, and it would have been much easier to put together with some concise clear instructions and all required hardware. I had to run all over town to find 12 replacement bolts. It shouldn’t take 8-9 hours put this bed together, and due to crummy instructions, it did.Read more

is this bunk bed solid wood throughout
No. It has metal supports for the mattresses. One of ours has already broken, due to my oversized 8 year old boy jumping on the bed, and the metal support slipped off and then bent. Also, the wood along the front has already broken too. We are not happy. We actually bought a similar design that is all wood from King Be… see more

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Gold

Gold is a very unique color that is used to showcase a luxurious lifestyle and with a Gold bed you will definitely make a bold statement for a luxurious lifestyle. A Gold bed works nicely especially for a glamorous aesthetic creating a yellow shinning personality. A Gold bed blend perfectly well with metallic finishes in your bedroom which include bronze pendant lights, and stools. Gold as a color is known to overpower your bedroom décor so a good way to prevent that is by opting to color block your bedroom which means playing around with your bedroom interior design to make it more subtle. A Gold bed’s softness is reflected all over your bedroom creating an unexpected contrast with other colors that you might have used to decorate your bedroom’s interior.

Drawers

A cluttered bedroom is not pleasing and relaxing at all. Sometimes, though your things are well-organized, seeing them still makes your space crowded. Two options are available: throw away your stuff or upgrade your regular bed into a drawer or storage bed. For sure, you will choose the latter, right?

Space-saving and multifunctional, drawer beds can make you feel like you don't need shelves and cabinets anymore. They come with 2 drawers, 4 drawers, 2 full and 2 half drawers, or end drawers built in the bed frame. Full ottoman and half ottoman are also available, where the entire bed offers hidden storage space. Drawer beds can also benefit your stuff since they are hidden, they won't accumulate dust. Finding them can also be easy for you because you have just one place to look at. After all, a tidy room can make your sleep better and more comfortable. And, yes, there's no such thing as too much storage.

Honey

For a really nice complementary look, use light natural colored furnishings in the room, and light colored pillowcases and a light colored quilt cover - this will work so well with the honey finish to create a beautiful vibrant style in the room. Or, you can be a little daring, and use darker colors like black - this will work in contrast to the honey finish, and make the bed stand out in a dazzling kind of way. The honey look is a great choice for anyone that wants a bed that’s very appealing to the eye, and is versatile enough to suit a more casual laid back room, or become a bold and impactful centrepiece in the room.
