I'm a petite female in my early 60s and was surprised how easy it was to put together myself. I was hoping the color was a bit darker.

This dresser is a touch smaller than originally measured, and the wood is cheap. It's almost like a wooden wallpaper that is over the cheap wood to make it look rustic. Was easy to assemble, looks ok in the space, but the drawers are rather small for an adult dresser.

The only reason this dresser gets one star is because it is cute, but other than that I ran into a million issues while building this and after it was built it was functionally poor. I would NOT recommend this to a friend. Additionally, I bought the nightstand that goes along with it. That didn't cause me as many problems as this dresser, but neither are high quality items (hence the price)During Assembly:1) Handles broke. Once you screw the screws in you can't unscrew it because the screws get stuck in the handle. Also, the screw doesn't always screw in all the way so the screw is sticking out - this is showed in the last pic. Also, you cant remove the handles from the dresser after you screwed them in so BEWARE. It's hard to explain, but essentially the screw and handle are stuck. I called customer service for new handles, but I couldn't even remove the old handles. 2) You have to screw the a bottom "stand" at the bottom of the dresser (the middle piece shown in the picture at the bottom). The holes for the screw were NOT big enough. So I had to first hammer the screws in to create a bigger hole and then screw them in. This should NOT be an issue. After the Dresser was Built: 1) The dresser itself is wobbly. I had to put a piece of cardboard under the "stand" to keep it standing still2) The drawers stick out. They do not stay closed. Super annoying (would not recommend with those who have OCD)3) the "wood" of this dresser is really just a sticker. The sticker peeled off so I had to use clear tape to keep it on dresser. Under the sticker is just the cardboard/wooden structure. One last thing I want to note is that this dresser is quite short. This was my fault for not double checking on the height. I'm 5'1" and even I want this to be a little taller.

Gray

No bedroom is complete without a nice dresser to keep your clothes neatly. A Chic-style dresser and chest make your living space feels more comfortable and casual. The construction showcases the finish in a neutral colour. The grey dresser and chest finish are widely popular and are seen in many rural and coastal homes globally. The Gray finish is surely the style you choose melding your existing interior décor. The grey option in the form of a dresser and chest showcases the lodge panel front and the straight lines surrounded by moulding which provides a traditional look in a warm finish combined with modern functionality. This piece of furniture is meant to be practical and also has an attractive design that makes a statement. On the overall colour scheme, the grey finish dresser matches them all no matter what the theme of your home is. Dresser and chest styles from mid-century to modern to traditional but this grey finish will look modern, coastal, feel simpler, and often comes brighter.

Engineered Wood

Engineered wood when used on dressers and chests, it produces beautiful products. This is because this wood is combined or man-made through a systematic combination of different lay wood. The top surface in some cases has distinct patterns that make them unique and stylish from other wood materials. When it comes to durability, the wood is made using wood shavings, sheets, and particles bound together using a strong adhesive. Engineered wood just like any other wood, requires care and maintenance, simply wipe out the dust using a towel to enable the dresser to serve you for a long period. However, this wood absorbs liquids faster and a simple water spill makes this wood bulge hence weakening it. Always ensure proper care by positioning your dressers at a room position free from any liquids. It is also easy to work with hence enabling craftsmen to craft unique dressers and chests.

Laminate

Dresser and chest made using laminate are usually elegant and eye-catching. This is because laminate tends to replicate the perceptible feel of natural materials and add a certain level of sophistication to dressers and chests. Compared to solid wood options, laminate is much more stain and scratch-resistant. This feature preserves your dressers and chest making of serving you for long period. The process used to create laminate usually forms an incredibly durable product that can withstand a demanding work environment. Hence, making laminate durable on your dresser. Laminate is available in multiple patterns and colors for users to pick from what interests them at a personal level. The maintenance is cheap and easy, one can simply use a simple piece of cloth or wet towel. However, placing hot items on the surface of mica makes it hard to clean.

Medium Density Fiberboard

Medium-density fiberboard is a material that consists of recycled solid wood leftovers, resin, and fibers all glued up together with wax. One huge advantage of a medium-density fiberboard dresser is that it is quite affordable as compared to solid wood dressers. This is because medium density fiberboards are readily available in the market. In addition, it's quite easy to paint when it comes to customizing your medium density fiberboard dresser, unlike a solid wood dresser. It also comes with its own disadvantages, such as it's relatively easy to damage, especially if you have little kids who are always playing around the house. Unlike most people would imagine, a medium-density fiberboard dresser is relatively heavier than a solid wood dresser, making it quite hard to move around when you rearrange your space. Plus, it cannot support too much weight as it risks breaking down.

Metal

Back in the day, there was a time when wood was always the go to material for all things furniture. However, homeowners are now willing to use different materials for various reasons. A good example is a metal dresser. However, unlike a wooden dresser, it's much more durable as it does not wear and tear easily. And with very little care, it can stand firm from one generation to the next. A metal dresser or chest is much more stylish as compared to wooden ones, and no matter your décor or theme, a metallic dresser or chest will complement your current interior decor. Metallic dressers are also quite popular for their low maintenance needs, which is a common trait among most metallic furniture. All you need to do is wipe it with a piece of cloth to get rid of the dust, and in case of rust, a fresh coat of painting can always do the trick.

Wood

Wood is classified into two major categories, that's is softwood and hardwood. Softwood is easier to work with hence making elegant dressers and chests in your room. On the other hand, hardwood is the most durable material when it comes to furniture making. Wood is well treated to the longevity of dressers & chests. Users can pick either softwood or hardwood for their preference. Both kinds of wood need care and maintenance and from time to time wipe your wood perfectly. If you love personalized touch in your dressers and chest, you can always go for these materials because it's easier to work with compared to metals. Wood does not rust but if not well treated it can get attacked by wold borers or termites. A wooden dresser can be enhanced by applying a finish to give your dresser an attractive final look. Wood is sturdy and durable hence making your dresser & chest give you service for decades.

Beyond mere tradition, wood construction in dressers is simply the most versatile and reliable building material. While the majority of dressers will be wood, there are notable exceptions and eye-catching in a room, making them a focal point of admiration. They are also meant to provide a space you can dress in front of the top serves as a table to place clothes and space for a mirror. Pine

Pine wood is a popular choice for furniture making. This softwood variety is easy to work with, dense, and doesn’t split easily. Pine wood has a light-colored appearance with plenty of wood grains and knots throughout the wood, making it a distinctive wood type. Pine wood dressers or chests are often available with intricate wood work or fine details, as pine wood (being a softwood variety) is very malleable and can maintain its strength. The light, naturally bright tone of pine wood makes it a beautiful complement to a range of home décor motifs, including traditional/classic, coastal, boho/eclectic, and minimalist. The appearance of pine is more minimalistic compared to other wood types, like Maple or Oak, which is more traditional. Pine is a strong and resilient wood type, making it a great choice for a dresser or chest. The natural beauty of pine will enhance a calm and serene ambience in your home living spaces and will provide a gorgeous focal point in your home.

Softwoods

Softwoods are wood types that come from conifer trees, such as fir, cedar, and spruce. Softwood tree types grow faster than hardwood, and are less dense than hardwood types, as a result, softwoods are easier to work with in terms of craftsmanship; you can add gorgeous hardware to further enhance the look of the furniture. Softwood dressers and chests have a lower risk of splitting when inserting nails or screws, making it an ideal choice for use in furniture pieces. Softwood dressers tend to be less expensive than other wood types, as softwood trees grow faster than hardwood trees. Softwood dressers vary in appearance; softwoods such as pine have plenty of knots throughout the wood grain, making it an ideal choice to enhance a rustic design style. Softwood dressers or chests also have a classic wood smell, which can enhance a cozy atmosphere in your home. The three types of softwood that are most often used for furniture making are pine, fir and cedar. Each of these wood types is beautiful, rich and warm. Any dresser or chest made from a softwood wood type will enhance a cozy and elegant style.
