Beautiful finish, a challenge to assemble. Get the additional delivery, well worth it for $20, since it's heavy! Well made. You may need additional weight to hold the bed down. We had to get 30lb. Bar placed at the foot to hold it in place to not close. Customer service did not seem concerned. Said it is made for heavier beds. We had a lightweight mattress.. Wood is gorgeous. We put 3 coats of poly and it's even more beautiful.

This Murphy bed arrived in perfect shape and was easy enough for my husband and me to build ourselves. It looks great and our guests love it.

A little complicated to install/assemble but worth the effort. I've just ordered a second one and will probably order a third when I next have a vacancy. We've stained the original one and used it in a short term rental situation for nearly one year. No problems, easy to pull down...I like this product alot.Kathryn

Exactly what I was looking for. We put this behind a moving wall. It has a narrow profile. It was perfect.

This has worked really well as a guest bed in our toddlers room. It’s out of the way when we don’t need it but convient when the grandparents sleep over.

This bed operates easily. We needed help getting it upstairs and lifting it into place.. It is pretty heavy and seems well made. Called technical suport with a couple of assembly questions. They were responsive but not that helpful. We did what looked right & it woked.

The bed took about three months to get to us. The delivery truck was nearly four hours late. On the positive side, the bed is very well made and fits perfectly in the spot we wanted it for. It's very heavy and definitely takes two people to assemble. We are considering staining it to add a little color. The pictures fit the product.

Very happy with our bed. We did find the instruction to be incomplete, but quite happy once all was assembled. Note to those who plan on painting or finishing yourselves: there are areas you just can't get to but can see

I liked this bed very much. It was a little more for me to install than I thought and so hired someone. However, it was my fault, not the bed's . Very easy to use.

for the cost and the amount of time it took to deliver the bed, i do not feel it was worth the money. the bed is much more in an unfinished feel than i expected. the strap system could be majorly unimproved. there should be a buckle/snap so you don't have to undo the strap and run it through the fastener each time you change the bed. the end of the strap could also have been melted so it did not unravel. my son saw the thread and pulled it so about 10' came apart. also the hydraulics on the lifts are way too strong the bed kept popping up on it's own. no way that i could find to adjust. finally, i had to take the bed apart and take one of the hydraulics off. now it stays down, but is heavy to lift. and as a topper the delivery people did not speak english and communicating with them was very difficult. would not recommend this to friends.Pros: it matched my other furniture in color (but not in finish)Cons: see review
