We've now used this bed set for 1+ years. We've loved it so much that we just moved into a new home, bought a new bed set (a larger size), and will be using this set in our guest bedroom. My wife and I have had zero issues with the bed and the faux leather has not faded or changed at all. Strongly suggest this bed set as a low-cost, good-quality buy!

Purchased this bed for my daughter, she loves it. The price was the best thing also. Do not hesitate to purchase it if you are on a strict budget. It is very easy to put together, and most importantly it looks great.

The bed looks nice, good quality for a reasonable price. Delivery was fast and without any damage on the product. The instructions were not very clear but we could put it together after minimal difficulty. Time will tell about durability.

My first ever online bed purchase. I must say I am pleased with it especially for the low price. The bed looks nice and was easy to ensemble. I do believe that 2 more support slats is needed to accompany the 3 that come with it. I am not thrilled about having to purchase additional pieces to be able to use the bed safely. However for the money spent on the bed it’s not too much of a issue.

The bed is beautiful and extremely sturdy ( if you add a few extra support boards ). This bed only came with 3... for a queen??? So I added 3 additional supports and PERFECT! Will not be disappointed, my only complaint is as this is a platform bed. I didn't expect to be so low to the ground even with a box spring.

are there wood slats positioned throughout the bed frame to support a mattress? if this is so, there is no need for a box spring - I may put a 14" thick mattress on top of the wood slats, no box spring needed? understand the description above said it requires a box spring so I'm hoping those who purchased this may give their comments. thank you!
A 14' mattress is very thick! I would wish you luck however I I would still recommend a foundation for this frame.

are there wood slats positioned throughout the bed frame to support a mattress?Yes, there are wood slats that come with the assembly. There's only 5 or 6 of them though (i don't quite remember). if this is so, there is no need for a box spring - I may put a 14" thick mattress on top of the wood slats, no box spring needed?I don't know about that. We used a 10" thick mattress on our bed and we still bought a box spring.Where the slats will be positioned within the assembly is only 4 inches above the floor...since we had a 10" mattress that would have meant that the bed will only be 14" tall..too low for me and my boyfriend. using a box spring lifted it higher, making it look right.. plus easier to get up from.Hope I helped!

I have a 14" thick mattress so I used Bunkie Board as a foundation (2" thick) over the bed frame louversFrom floor to top of mattress now measures out at 22" high ( due to height of feet & height of bed frame louvers)From floor to bottom of headboard measures out to 22.5"I get full use of the headboard, everything feel proportional

How much of the headboard would show if your mattress+box spring is 17 inches tall?
Thank you for contacting us, brebre138. It measures 17.5 inches from slats to bottom of headboard. Roughly 30 inches of the headboard will show with a 17 inch mattress. Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.

Fabric

Fabric is commonly designed for everyday clothing, and, because of its quality, it can also be used for furniture upholstery. Light, simple, and versatile, fabric-upholstered beds can effortlessly match any interior design theme. They are durable and long-lasting. Fabrics are also soft and comfortable and can even make your bed stand out from the rest of your furnishings.

There are different types of fabric-upholstered bed depending on the textile used and each of them has its distinct advantages and disadvantages. A linen-upholstered bed is breathable, easy to clean, and hypo-allergenic, but is prone to wrinkles and low stain-resistance. A velvet-upholstered bed is good for those with pets and can be dyed in rich colors, but high-maintenance and very expensive. A cotton-upholstered bed is abrasion-resistant and allows you to maintain a cool feeling, but not that stain-resistant and its fibers may weaken when directly exposed to sunlight. A corduroy-upholstered bed is durable, low-maintenance, and inexpensive, but can be heavy. But, whichever type you choose, surely fabric can turn your bed into a comfortable one.

Faux Leather

Faux-leather is the best choice for anyone that wants that luxurious leather look, without having to spend the extra money on real leather. It can look just as nice as genuine leather. It's also a great choice for anyone that wants a high-class look to their bed, but might have children or animals that could damage the upholstery - you don't want to risk having that happen, so faux-leather is a great way to get the look you're after in the bedroom, without it coming with the risks that might come from having genuine leather. If you look after this faux-leather upholstery, it will last you a very long time - just keep it away from anything hot! A great choice for all bedroom settings. Keep it clean by just wiping it down with a warm cloth.

Leather

Leather is a traditional upholstery material for a reason. It looks great, feels fantastic and is long-lasting. It also has some symbolism attached to it - leather upholstery says things without verbalising them. It says "class". It says "luxury". It says "style". If you've got a need or a want for an upholstery material that's ticks the classic and traditional boxes, as well as the box that says "magnificence" at the same time - then it's the leather upholstery material that you're going to wish your bed was made from. Leather is a strong and durable material, that is scratch-resistant and won’t wrinkle or crease up - it’s an excellent choice for anyone that needs their bed to be not just a status symbol, but also a good long-term, practical decision. Treat yourself to something special, and choose leather.

Hardwoods

Hardwood wood varieties refer to the type of tree the wood is taken from; it has nothing to do with how heavy or dense the wood is (contrary to popular belief!). Hardwood woods are sourced from trees that have leaves and lose their leaves in the winter months. Types of hardwood trees include hickory, maple, oak, birch and cherry (among others). Wood from hardwood trees is usually harder and therefore more dense, as these trees tend to grow at a slower rate. Hardwood is ideal for use in indoor furniture crafting, as it is sturdy and durable. Most hardwood varieties are bright and beautiful in their natural tone/shade, but many take well to staining, finishes and paints. The hardwood varieties offer a cozy, warm look and enrich your bedroom style. Hardwood bed frames are a great way to brighten your bedroom and enhance the overall look and feel of your sleep space!

Pine

Do you love a rustic, classic bedroom style? A pine wood bed frame should be at the top of your shopping list! Pine wood is a softwood variety, meaning it is well-suited for use in both indoor and outdoor furniture because of its durability. Pine is a shock-resistant wood that is strong and long-lasting and is well-suited for crafting ornate and intricate details; this only adds more beauty to your home! Pine wood is lighter in color with an almost creamy white appearance; it is beautiful in both its natural state or finished with a stain. Pine wood is also lighter in weight than some other wood varieties, making assembly of bed frames relatively simple and quick. Pine wood bed frames are an ideal wood to stain, which gives you the opportunity to change or enhance your style as your preferences change. It’s a perfect choice whether you want to achieve a rustic, warm bedroom environment, or a more modern, contemporary sleep space.

Softwoods

Softwood wood varieties are wood types that are sourced from cone bearing trees (evergreens with needles), such as spruce, pine, and fir. Softwood wood varieties are well-known for their superb ability to resist decay and/or rot, making them an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor use; they are long-lasting and very durable. Softwood wood varieties are also versatile and are the top choice for designing and crafting furniture with ornate, distinct details. Softwoods are more vulnerable to dings or dents; however, they are still very sturdy and dependable furniture pieces. Due to the wood type’s versatility, softwood bed frames are ideal for people who love an ornate and detailed décor style. Softwood wood types most often have a neutral, earthy color and pair well with bright color palettes to create a gorgeous contrast and give your bedroom a fresh new look!

Gray Wood

Having trouble deciding what interior design style you want for your bedroom? While thinking about how your room will look like, consider a gray wood bed. Why? Because it fits into most interior design styles and can balance the vibe in your room. Since its a muted hue, gray may appear to be dull and boring, but, surprisingly, it can pair well with bright, warm, and dark colors. It is also perfect if you want to go for a monochromatic space. A friend to any color, gray wood can be like a canvas to a painter that allows creativity to flow, giving you the opportunity to experiment with whatever color you want to put on your bed. It can also make your room look and feel calm and serene. Furthermore, a gray wood bed can combine well with any texture and design. Because of its versatility, gray never goes out of style.
