Took me 2.5 to put this beast together (I was doing it by myself) but it all came together nicely! All the pieces were flush with each other and nothing was missing so all in all, I’m a happy customer. The storage is pretty deep which is a godsend for NYC apartments. I will say, the baskets aren’t the best quality, so I’m imagining after a while I’ll have to replace them, but for now everything looks great and wasn’t too hard to put together at all since the instructions did a great job explaining everything. Definitely recommend!

I have never been a fan of this type of construction. I find that the locking mechanisms used to hold the pieces together are not as strong as they should be, especially given they are in particle board. First thing, we ordered two of these. Both boxes showed up at the door as if they were in a demolition derby. Not surprising given the sheer weight of the box. Personally, it would have been better for this to have shipped in two boxes and not one, but what can you do. Luckily we only had minor damage on one, with one trim piece being completely broken. That piece in question did not hold me up from putting it together, as I said its a trim piece and I will install it when the replacement part comes in. On that note, when I called the customer care line to request the replacement, it could not have been easier, and the guy I spoke with on the phone was super friendly. In all it took me about 2hrs by myself to put one of them together, and about 2.5hrs to put the second one together. In reality I think some of that time was spent on the phone with the customer service guy. Now in the manual it states you need two people to assemble this. I will say a second person definitely could have helped, but I was able to do this by myself so its not impossible. Overall, they are very sturdy but with concerns. In the coming days I will reinforce the cabinets with angle brackets to beef them up as they are not as sturdy as I would like. Also internally anchoring them to the wall will greatly help as well keeping them sturdy. Now I do want to address one thing on here because I think one of the reviews of this product is unfair and a bit misleading. If you read through the negative reviews, you will see one of the cabinets collapsed and laying in pieces. I think this is more from negligence rather than poor product. In the manual it specifically gives weight ratings for the shelves. On the very top, it states max of 35lbs, each shelf is a max of 25lbs. Looking at the pictures from this review, it looks like they exceeded the weight limits causing the collapse of the cabinet. Back to the topic at hand, overall, I can't give this 5stars because of the way in which these assemble. They are pretty sturdy and look really nice, my wife loves them and that is the most important part. Once that replacement part comes in, and I am able to add additional photos I will update this review.

So, this was my first Wayfair purchase. It really took a long time to put together. I looked at the measurements and was excited to get something bigger than my current dresser. But, despite the outside being much larger, the inside drawers stop about 4 inches from the back. So they actually hold the same amount as my previous dresser. This seems like a bad design flaw. First, it doesn't do what I want, which was to hold more stuff. Second, won't this cause more of a forward tipping hazard, because all the weight is pushed forward? Maybe this is why it says not to put anything with any weight such as a TV on top, and to never open more than one drawer at a time? I tried to take some pictures to show the huge gap between the totally closed drawer and the back of the dresser. What a shame, such a waste of space, for no purpose I can see. All it achieves is a less stable unit? It seems like somewhat cheap materials. But it looks nice and my drawers operate smoothly, so it's okay.

UPDATE (05/04/2022): this dresser has consistently had the drawers cave in/fall through. Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT WASTE your money. It will come damaged from delivery and the drawer bottoms will fall through. They’re not real screws that bolt them together so it’s very flimsy and cheap. We might try and get long screws and drill it in so the bottom stops falling through. I mean the back of the drawer completely separated from the sides and the bottom fell through. It’s very tedious and frustrating when I have to take a whole drawer out, try and fix the bottom and then put all my sons clothes back in. It’s not worth the headache. UPDATE (08/23/2021) : not even a month and one of the drawers caved in…again, it’s a dresser for a child. The clothes aren’t heavy. The drawer that caved was my sons boxers, tank tops and socks. Original review (07/31/2021) So obviously you get what you pay for. It’s not a super high end dresser so don’t expect super fancy. BUT if you pay for a “NEW” product, you’d expect something new and untarnished. Like other reviews, the directions aren’t clear. There aren’t any words, just pictures like you’re building a lego. The parts for the most part are labeled. But the screws are not. In time, you’ll figure out all the hardware is separated (at least in my case) so it shouldn’t be an issue. I put together the dresser by myself in approx 2.5 hours. The reasoning for only 2 stars because it came damaged and dirty. It was packed decently enough that the interior pieces shouldn’t have had chips where they were. The pieces of wood were also dirty (pictures attached) and had clear finger smudges. Terrible quality control. Like another review mentioned, on the back of the dresser, there is about 2 inches uncovered on the top portion… super weird design. The drawers also DO NOT go fully back. There is also about 2 inches before the drawer even comes to the back of the dresser so you lose drawer space. The drawers do pull out smoothly so I like that. Overall, it’s a decent dresser for the price. It looks nice, it was intended for a 6 year old so there’s enough space. But I don’t think I would repurchase. First purchase with wayfair and they ship through FedEx, which are the worst.

The bed is great, overall. The pieces feel sturdy, but I ran into a few issues. No matter how much I adjust the bed, one drawer won’t shut flush, which drives me nuts. Also, while I was adjusting, the brace that holds the two large pieces that hold the mattress up, popped out and fell. I had to remove a few pieces in order to put it back in. I wish it would screw into the body, but it’s held in by 3 pegs.Overall, I would purchase again for a child, but with a weight limit of 250, an adult might be out of the question.Updated we’ve had this bed for over a year now. 3 weeks in, the tabs holding the frame up broke and we bought new ones, which also broke. My (newly) 3 year old weighs 37 pounds, WELL under the weight limit of 250lbs. All of the tabs have broken, and no matter what we use to keep the mattress frame up, it fails. Now the frame just sits on the drawers, making them sag and impossible to open. This bed is terrible and a huge waste of money. It’s not worth the storage space underneath. Of course by the time we gave up on it, the bed was beyond and return window. PLEASE go with another option. This will not last long at all.

Full / Double

A Full / Double bed is a bed meant for couples to share, however with the emergence of so many size options full-double beds are now mainly meant for single sleepers. Back in the 1940s a couple would perfectly fit and enjoy a full double bed, in fact you might have seen one in those 90s movies a classic full-double bed with a nightstand next to it and an old black and white TV on the wall. In modern day, full-double beds are still very popular, mainly among the younger generation who are not married yet and desire a little bit of comfort. Full-double beds fell out of favor of many couple with the introduction of king and queen size beds in to the markets. But despite that a full-double bed is still an excellent choice for single adults with limited space but still desire a bigger bed.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

Platform

You may be looking for a bed that is timeless and cost-effective and maybe your life quote is "simplicity is beauty," then you can swear by platform beds. A platform bed is a simple bed frame that has a solid foundation capable to hold any type of mattress without the need of a box spring. It also comes with built-in slats to allow airflow and breathability. And since box springs are unnecessary, you can save money if you decide to buy a new mattress.

Though simple, it doesn't mean that this type of bed is boring. Platform beds come from various materials, such wood, metal, and fiberboard. You may even have them upholstered for an added classic touch! Ideal for all ages, they are also available in different sizes: twin, full, queen, and king. Interestingly, platform beds are great for storing extra stuff since many of them come with drawers and headboard shelving, perfect for keeping your bedroom tidy.

Storage Included

When your bedroom space is small storage can be the biggest challenge you will encounter. Your closet could be a solution but not big enough to pack so many clothes. Well, you may want to buy a bigger cabinet, but you don’t want to pack so many dressers and cabinets into your space that it feels clunky and crowded. Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress. Ultimately, your choice will come down to what's most convenient for you.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

If you opt to get you kid a bed of his or her own a wooden bed is always the best choice, since they are much easier to clean and maintain since its common knowledge how messy a child’s bedroom become. What makes a wooden bed the perfect choice for your child’s bedroom is its ability to withstand everything your child throws at it. This is because wooden beds are known to be sturdy and robust no matter the environment they are in.

Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.

Hardwoods

Hardwood wood varieties refer to the type of tree the wood is taken from; it has nothing to do with how heavy or dense the wood is (contrary to popular belief!). Hardwood woods are sourced from trees that have leaves and lose their leaves in the winter months. Types of hardwood trees include hickory, maple, oak, birch and cherry (among others). Wood from hardwood trees is usually harder and therefore more dense, as these trees tend to grow at a slower rate. Hardwood is ideal for use in indoor furniture crafting, as it is sturdy and durable. Most hardwood varieties are bright and beautiful in their natural tone/shade, but many take well to staining, finishes and paints. The hardwood varieties offer a cozy, warm look and enrich your bedroom style. Hardwood bed frames are a great way to brighten your bedroom and enhance the overall look and feel of your sleep space!

Maple

Maple wood is one of the most popular and widely used wood varieties for furniture pieces. Because of its strength, simplicity and stunning natural tone, maple is a fine selection for use in bedroom furniture. The grain within the maple wood surface is straight and smooth, which gives the appearance of a very simple and clean finish on the furniture piece. Maple wood is also known for its high level of durability and strength, and therefore ensures a solid piece of furniture that will be able to last for years to come. Maple wood is especially ideal for staining as well; although the natural maple tone is beautiful and adaptable into many different style motifs, the ability of maple wood to take to multiple different stains gives you a chance to freshen up your furniture and style. Maple wood bedroom furniture is a beautiful choice that will revamp the look of your home.

Oak

If you’re looking for a way to refurbish your sleep space, purchasing an oak bed should be at the top of your to-do list! Oak is a classic, refined and traditional wood finish that is simply gorgeous. A natural oak finish is typically a warm cherry brown color; however, oak takes to staining quite well. This allows you to change up the look of your furniture to match your ever-changing style and design preferences. The simple grain patterns in oak wood are beautiful and understated; this gives you a timeless look for your bedroom that you’re sure to love for years to come. Oak is heavier than some of the other wood varieties, so assembly of any bedroom furniture is best if there are two or more people. Once properly assembled, oak furniture enhances the coziness of your bedroom and can add a rustic flair to your design motif.
