I've had this console for about four months. I was worried after reading some of the reviews, so I just want to say that this is way stronger than I expected. My area recently experienced several earthquakes, up to a 4.8 plus dozens of after shocks , tons of stuff in my house fell and broke. But not this console! Still sturdy and attached to the wall!!! So I'm impressed, I'd recommend it (plus it looks great beneath my giant TV!)I will say though, you'll probably want to have at least three people to get it attached to the wall. There were only two of us, and making sure all the wires were tucked away was pretty hard, and it was pretty heavy.

TL;DR- Assembled in under an hour *w power drill, Holds all of my old gaming systems, well worth the seemingly cheap price. You need a 4" or less screw driver or 90 degree Philips wrench for assembly. This is your garden variety, made in Chine / IKEA-type furniture. The hardware bag provided a niffty straight allen post for my power drill.*>Although, there were 4 or 6 cam lock nuts that could only be accessed via a vice grip holding onto a philips drill bit.>*The space was not enough clearance for my smallest screw driver, so I had to improvise. I'm Surprised the company offered 2 allen key options but didn't provide a 90* philips tool.I Assembled this in under an hour and there was.Threw all my systems sans first xbox on the shelves for relative size for a picture... RCA switch box and cable organization update next.

Great shelf. I needed something to hold an Xbox 1, cable box, Nintendo switch and all the games and accessories that go along with these things (controllers, headsets) plus a sound bar. It fits everything perfectly. The depth is perfect for the Xbox, with wires attached. The instructions were very easy to follow, and it’s super sturdy. The fact that you can hide all the messy wires is a plus too. The only issue I had was at one point you must tighten a fastener that is inside the unit and you will need to use a short handled Philips screwdriver. If you don’t have one, like myself, you’ll have to get a bit creative with a drill bit and wrench. It would be 100% perfect if it came with a small screwdriver included with the hardware.

I've had this unit for about 6 months now...we love it. It was a little bit of work to hide all the cables behind the unit and make sure its all tucked away but we fit a whole receiver with surround sound cables, Comcast cable box and DVD player with all the cables. The amount of space we gained from getting rid of our old entertainment center table on the floor is amazing. We can vaccuum underneath now with no problem. It's definitely a bit more work to do anything with it..but it's ok. I have to take the unit down to run a new cable up to the tv...but it's worth the clean look. Very happy.

The wall bracket is black, which is clearly visible when seated at couch height and facing the unit. If you have the slightest feeling that will bother you - paint the bracket before hanging the unit. I realized that after it was mounted and rather than take it down again, I cut tight fitting pieces of cardboard that fit in each of the three openings on top - and painted them white. When pushed into place behind the electrical components, the cardboard pieces hide the bracket and all the wires too. Also the wall I hung mine on was bowed out 1/2" which affected the fit. Put a straight edge on the wall where you plan to mount it so that you can adjust the mounts a little before you hang it if needed. Secure the center, and leave the end mounts a little loose, and final tighten after it is hanging on the wall. I installed at the recommended height and have a 55" LG sitting on a stand on top, and I am satisfied with it. One last adjustment I made was to enlarge the opening that provides access to plug things into the wall outlet that will be hidden behind the bottom shelf. The stock opening was too small for me to reach into to plug into the surge protector that was then plugged into the wall outlet.

Was broken on delivery. End was cracked see photo.Took about 30 minutes to put together and hang it on the wall. I have over 20 year carpentry experience so this was very easy for me. I would’ve given it 4 stars if it wouldn’t have been broken when it arrived. One photo shows the tv mounted and you can see the metal bar that the cabinet hangs on attached to the wall with the cabinet sitting on the floor. Last photo it’s hanging on the wall with a bunch of stuff on it. You can hide almost all the wires in the cabinet.Tools I used to put it together:Stubby Phillip screw driverCordless impact drill with allen driverA phlip screw driver4 foot LevelTape measureMetric boxedend wrench (10 or 13mm I think)

DONT DO IT! material is mdf super heavy and came shipped damaged. I was gonna go to ikea and I'm wishing I would've now. One of the holes wasn't even drilled all the way through. I had to finish their work and drill a hole myself. Where was quality control on this piece? There's glue stains all over it and the bottom of all the shelfs were not painted white so it gives a dark co traat underneath and inside. I hope this return I'm about to make goes thru

Poor quality, Don’t waste your time or your money. After a couple months it fell off the wall, scratched the wall and damage some of our things because the bracket holding it is made of poor quality.
